Wild Boar Sausage
Great menu from elk tenderloin to crab cakes.
Excellent attentive service.
Very pleasant staff.
Gashouse gas been there a long time and deserves to be.
A regular stop when we have our skivacation
Good game meats and excellent seafood are hard to find in the same place. Well both my Delaware Bay oysters and my Idaho elk tenderloin were delicious!
My wife's trout was also top notch.
Family vacation get together
Food was good. Initially had issue with meal. Resolved by chef.
We had dinner here 8 years ago and it was as good as I remember! Highly recommend!
Tough parking but great food. I will be back soon!!!
Had a great quiet and tasty late lunch. Absolutely excellent and caring service. Dining room was a bit chilly, maybe it is warmer at night. I’m not a big fan of taxidermy but if you are a hunter the animals have a big presence for your viewing.
Great service !
Food is fabulous !
Staff very friendly.
Great atmosphere! Our waiter was very attentive. Menu selection was great. Our family has been there several times over the last 20 years and we have never been disappointed in the food!
We have eaten at the Gashouse several times over the past 3 years and have always enjoyed it. We have had good service and just O.K. service, but Sean (or Shawn, sorry don't know for sure) was absolutely wonderful! He was engaging and funny. We appreciated his energy.
We went for lunch. Sandwiches were good
Yummy food in a lovely setting. Great service. Highly recommend.
Server Michael was amazing. we have been going here for 10 years and it is always the same...Great
Great food. Great service.
The wait staff sat us next to a table of four kids and loud parents, we had a long standing reservation and there were many other open tables. The food was not well prepared, raw, and the waiter was just impressed to be there we think.
Everyone in our group loved it. We eat here every time we are in town. Great food at reasonable prices and nice portions.
We had 5 interns from Atlanta Ga and wanted to give them an amazing Colorado food experience. They ordered game, fish, and steak. They loved the decor and no one went home hungry or disappointed! Love Gashouse! Great service. They even sat us so we could watch Auburn play basketball!
Excellent food and service
The only downside- the tables are
Extremely close together.
Hard to even sit down.
This is a very unique restaurant with a lot of ski memorabilia, it seemed like it was a place mostly locals would visit since it’s not in BC or Vail; it’s a nice option though...
if you can spare a few intrigued looks of the people around you when they see tourist arriving, you’d love this place. The food it’s really good and abundant, it’s still pricey but it’s ski season and everything around Vail is kind of pricey!!... but we are on vacation so, I’d say we loved the wooden cabin, even the stuffed animals on the walls! 🙈
There was a little set back when we arrived since our waiter forgot about us ?? But David was really nice and made it up for us with a delicious complimentary apple pie
Everything was cooked perfectly. Great menu options.
Great menu options, whether you like meat, fish or game. There truly was something for everyone.
Great locals restaurant, a must if you are in the area.
Surprisingly good in every respect. With the ambiance of a road house, servers dressed in gas station service uniforms and taxidermy everywhere (Moose to Jackalopes), we had no expectations for fine quality cuisine. But we were surprised. The menu is broad and deep. The preparations are simple but well-done. And the price points, like the taxidermy, ranges from high to moderate. We've eaten here many times before but not for several years. While food memory is not my strong suit, it seemed apparent that the quality and the offerings have greatly improved since our last visit. Heck, they must be doing something right having lasted so long in the valley and being packed night after night.
We went here for New Year's Eve. Food was fantastic and service was superb, which is becoming quite uncommon in the Valley. We will continue to patronize Gas House because they have maintained their high standards.
The food is always cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. The service is always friendly and attentive. These guys really know what they're doing with top quality cuts of meat and fish. The house made sausages are definitely worth trying.
Family friendly and casual dining. The atmosphere is fun and doesn’t take itself seriously. Food is simple and tasty!
Christmas Eve dinner for the first time in Colorado! A great experience for the kids and the family!
We had a great time. I was worried after some of the reviews but found them to be wrong.
The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. it is not a Beaver Creek fine dining experience.
It is a fun place for good food. We did have a 7 month old with us who did just fine there.
Tried and true! Best fine food for the value in Vail
Had a nice experience. Food is reasonably priced for the area. Staff was very attentive. It’s a casual setting and very doable to eat here several days a week. great menu. I was not disappointed.
My husband and I like going to the Gas House. You get bang for your buck and good service. One request: bring back the old bread.
The steak, lobster and shrimp special that they have during the off season was spectacular! Well prepared and very tasty.
Amazing food, tasty drinks, friendly staff, and fun(ny) environment! Will absolutely go back.
One if us had special if wagu beef, shrimp and lobster. Lobster and shrimp were good, beef just so so. I had shrimp and crab cake. Crab tasted slightly stale as if the bread crumbs were old. Iceberg wedge salad was excellent! Server was very nice..
Always fun and good food. Can't beat the happy hour
The truffle fries caused a smell that turned everyone in our party OFF. We almost asked to move our seat. The smell eventually dissipated.
We've been going there for many years, and it is always good. This time seemed to be even a step up in food quality. They have also expanded their wine list. Great mountain ambiance.
We loved this place. Great service and food was delicious.
Very crowded, small space. Food was good but nothing special for the price.
