No vegan options. They have a vegetable sandwich that you can ask for without cheese and you can get salad without cheese but beyond that they don't understand and cannot execute. At least on their previous menu they had a delicious house made veggie burger but it was discontinued.

The location and ambiance is lovely. Service was great. My sandwich was wonderful. We sent the apple galette back because the crust was gluey and flavorless. I would go back and I would recommend it because it was the first miss I've experienced here. But for a birthday lunch, that was a tad disappointing.

After a tasting, my friend and I had reservations here for lunch. It was my first time here. There was no one at the host desk when we arrived, and we were not greeted for about 10 minutes. We finally got seated, water served, and then waited another 20 for a waiter to arrive. Our waiter seemed very unhappy to be there and was not friendly. After he took our order, our food came out relatively fast, but my friend had to ask for bread, and our wine hadn't even come out yet. The food was excellent. I ordered the salmon, and my friend had a huge salad with chicken. The restaurant itself, I thought, was beautiful. No one came back to ask if we needed refills. In fact, our waiter kept walking by, and it seemed he was purposely avoiding eye contact with me. I finally had to flag him down to ask for the check and a box. They seemed understaffed possibly, but I definitely would expect better service from a nice cafe like this one. I would love to go back, I'll just cross my fingers for a better experience next time.

I made a reservation weeks ago for an early lunch. We got there at 11. I requested and always get the high table booth. There was two of us and the manager said they were expecting large groups and the booth could fit 5 people. So we got seated at a table vs booth. They have four high table booths and the whole time we were there they only filled one of those tables the rest was open. Then they sat four people at booth later which they could have sat at the table we had. Just disappointed with seating arrangements especially eating so early. As always service was great and food quality was good. We shared appetizer meatballs and chopped salad with a wonderful glass of Chardonnay. I’ll be back

We love this restaurant and have been here many times. Their pizza is amazing and what they do really well. The appetizers and entrees are good, too, however tonight my husband decided to try their center cut filet. When it arrived, it clearly wasn’t a filet. It was very clearly a sirloin steak, in appearance, texture, and taste. My husband asked our server and she went to check with the kitchen. She returned and said the kitchen verified that it was a filet and that it looks like the filets she serves everyday. So, my husband accepted it, but didn’t even eat the whole steak- he was adamant that it wasn’t a filet. When the bill came and we were charged $50 for the steak, he felt completely ripped off as it was easily a $15 steak at best. So, lesson learned: Stick to the pizza because it’s fabulous. Food rating for pizza and other entrees (salmon and Nona’s gravy) is five stars. Steak is 1 star (or zero!).

For many years, I have been a frequent diner at Garré Cafe. I have hosted large parties there and held dinners for special occasions. It was my “go to” place. But that all may soon change. I was literally shocked yesterday when the Carbonara was brought to my table. The ingredients are completely changed and the heavy penne pasta and cheese overwhelmed the dish. I am extremely saddened; it is like losing an old friend. Chef Abe, why did you change the recipe? So sad.

Love the fried olives and it is a generous serving. The grilled chicken on my beet salad was really tough - almost impossible to cut with knife. Very disappointing for a $75 meal and we didn’t even have wine.

Always good food and service. One of our group had a problem with their entree and they replaced it with another entree and made an adjustment to our bill. Nice service recovery and classy move. Will always return for the nice people and unique food offerings. Great ambience.

Our waitress was very sweet. A note on the food, while the Sicillan drink was fantastic, the chipotle shrimp I ordered seemed undercooked (very white). Additionally, this is probably personal preference but I think classical music playing in the background is a little more pleasant than pop or rap. It felt sort of out of place on a vineyard.
