Food was delicious! Service was very good. We'll be back, soon.
One of the best restaurants that is located within a Winery. The total experience. Staff wears masks.
Calamari was like eating rubber bands. Soft beets in the beet salad. Main course of salmon and green beans was decent but nothing special. Passed on dessert. Overall average food. Service was attentive but also nothing special. Will not return and will not recommend.
Very good food and wine. Nice dining experience and friendly service. I will come back!
The atmosphere was perfect, quiet and not too busy. The food was delish, as was the suggested wine. Highly recommend, but should make reservations prior to avoid a wait.
Very good , I will visit again in the near future
We had a wonderful dinner, beautiful restaurant tucked away, great service, delicious food. We'll be back to try the pizza next time.
Came here for the first time to celebrate my sister’s engagement.
We had wine tasting reservations at 11 and cafe reservations at 1215.
They said wine tasting would only take an hr so it would be fine. We ended up at the cafe at 1220 and had to wait an additional 20 mins for our table. It was a bit of a bummer.
Over good experience but had to make semi drunk hungry women wait to eat.
Great exoerience. Good was great, service was outstsnfing, and it is hsrd to best a view of the vineyards.
As always, great food, excellent service, and fabulous wines!
We are returning customers. Service, is great! food is very well prepared. highly recommend.
Date night for us, paid way too much for a filet mignon though. Can’t say much about it though, since the market price is so high now.
Nancy our Server was great and the timing for our lunch was perfect. Thanks
My hubby order the Chicken Marsala not knowing there were onions in it so he only ate 1/3. We ordered the artichoke dip for the appetizer, the crunchy oval breads were okay but the dip was great. I would've like chips or a different kind of crunchy bread. I had the Caesar salad and tomato soup for my meal. Soup was good. The salad had croutons with an unusual spice which I had to put aside. We got cappuccinos for dessert which were really tasty. Service was great. Water/bread girl had a flat affect. I like going here because it's far enough from the busyness of Livermore, beautiful sceneries, ambience is outstanding, so relaxing over there. It's clean and inviting. Although, the last time I went there, it was about 5 weeks after my shoulder surgery. I ask the server to put my food in a to go box for me and my arm was clearly in the sling and I couldn't do it myself-- she replied NO. So, I didn't go back there for sometime.
Lovely patio. Staff a bit overwhelmed, but I get it. Pulled pork was a bit on the sweet side. Cajun chicken great. Not spicy.
A nice place to have lunch amidst some wine tasting. Great food, great service, and a nice outdoor patio to enjoy the wonderful NorCal fall weather.
Excellent food, wine, service, settings, ambiance. What more can you ask for? We’ll definitely be back!!
Great place to eat! Food delicious!
Employees very nice!
We love meeting friends there. Everyone is friendly and not rushing you through lunch. Great wine selections and food is amazing!
Definitely a go to place for a pleasantly quiet afternoon
Great place to take people to impress. Nice atmosphere. But expect to pay at least $25 per person.
Delicious wine and food (as always) and quick service. Always enjoy it!
Our group of six had an excellent lunch with great service. Our waitress was very attentive and offered to give us separate bills. Blackened salmon, jambalaya, and seafood rigatoni were thoroughly enjoyed. We shared the tiramisu and left very satisfied.
Note: the menus were sprayed and wiped down after each use.
Delicious meals prepared as we had ordered. Wait staff extremely accommodating. Large menu and comfortable indoor as well as outdoor seating.
Service was great
Food was flavorless
Disappointed in the scallopini dish. Lighting too bright so ambience was not good. Hope these two things are helpful to make things better.
Food was very bland. After tasting my first order, I changed to something else. Sadly both had no taste.
The food was tasteless and overpriced. Should have stayed home and opened a can of soup.
Once again, a great lunch at the Garre Cafe with friends. Appetizers - fried olives and baked brie were outstanding. All of our entrees, three flatbreads and the risotto were excellent. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. Definitely one of our favorites.
Garlic edamame is da BOMB! Always enjoyed what I eat hear. Rosie ,our server, is amazing.
The food was well presented. Generous portions of flavorful tasting meals. This is my favorite place to dine. I love the views surrounding the winery. I highly recommend this cafe.
Awesome tomato bisque. Great overall lunch experience
Food was bland, overcooked.
Our server was not very attentive. For example, we did not get the complimentary bread at the beginning, she never came back to fill our water glasses, and never checked whether we needed another round of drinks (I had to tell the busboy to call her).
Tee ordered full salads and the portions were like side salads.
First time visiting the Cafe - the food was excellent, and the servers were very friendly and fast. We will definitely be back for the fried olives and to try the other menu items!
This is one of our favorite restaurants. We love the food, the service, the ambiance and staff. Thank for an amazing meal (grilled wild salmon) fried olives and a blood orange margaritas!!! It was amazing!!
The Maytag Blue salad and beet salad were delicious, as was the risotto with salmon. The eggplant parm was a little undercooked. The affogato and bread pudding were tasty. Knowledgeable service about dietary restrictions. Extensive wine list.
Wonderful birthday girls lunch for the start to a gurls weekend! Food and ambience were great. Loved the sparkling wine and enjoyed our time!!!
Good food with many fine choices. Excellent, friendly service, and a great atmosphere, particularly for outdoor dining. We've only eaten on their patio, which is great. Nice views, plenty of room, etc.
Beautiful out door setting, very nice food, loved the fried olives
