Thanksgiving 2017, made reservations 2 months in advance only to be given a table with a view of kitchen and adjacent to the waiter station. This was our first holiday after losing the family matriarch and first time to see our daughter in months. Very disappointed. Food was not bad, but nothing special either. Service was good but couldn’t make up for the 100 per person cost.

Went with friends for a catch-up lunch, and because I am obsessed with the faro and chicken salad. Now there are two more of us obsessed with it, lol. Always a pleasure to dine here.

Service was very good. The biggest is was how noisy it was. We couldn’t really hear the person across the table from us. It was also very hot inside. Food was good.

The ambiance is always very soothing there. Low lighting, banquettes, cocktail shaker noise in the background...all great. Food and service are excellent and they have some very fun and interesting wine selections but by the glass and the bottle.

We love it because the food is great and it has an intimate atmosphere. We especially love the bar tender Jenny Smith. She adds so much charm and fun to the place.

We have been going to Garibaldi’s for many years but I have to give the food a poor rating this time. My friend and I both ordered the mussels and they were lacking in flavor and not cleaned enough - too much grit. The French fries were good, as was the dessert, but not the mussels. Also, there was a fly that kept bombarding us and we couldn’t get rid of it! Not the best experience we have had at Garibaldi’s.

We're lucky to have such a good restaurant for lunch. Diverse food choices, all good to excellent, fairly priced with attentive, knowledgeable staff.

Has to go down as one of the best restaurants in the city over many years . The food is always of a very excellent quality and the hospitality extended
by all the staff is always so gracious . Setting this neighborhood restaurant in a very special category of fine dining eating establishments .

The waiters are friendly but somewhat pretentious. The menu does not change frequently enough for frequent visitors and the menu is limited. However, the food is good and worth the trip. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Garibaldi’s was wonderful, as always. It is our favorite restaurant because the food is always delicious, the staff behaves as though you are worth it for them to interact with, and we can almost always get in on very short notice.

Great food! Loved the crispy potatoes and calamari. The liver pate was not a hit with any of our group of 4, though. The tagliatelle and the mussels were outstanding! We shared the espresso ice cream with pralines and licked up every morsel. It was quiet partly because we dined before the crowds, at 6:30, and also we were able to sit in the back. A friend had recommended this place and we will definitely teturn.

I love Garibaldis except when the noise level precludes normal conversation as it did Saturday night. Please invest in sound baffling. It can be made of cloth and not be terribly expensive. I consider your restaurant to be the best in the city and I want to keep coming. Thank you, Ellen Fox

Tables in the back are much quieter if conversation during dinner is what you like. Our service was outstanding. Water glasses always filled. Frequent checks by waiter offering suggestions and checking on our satisfaction. Food was delicious and as described in menu and by waiter. Great location for us.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for 35 years. Wonderful neighborhood eatery. HOWEVER< second time in a row the noise from 4 extremely loud cackling women ruined the meal. Management fails to protect its regular guests from this type of obnoxious conduct. The two women seated next to me on the side were also appalled at the behavior and lack of intervention. Makes it very tough to go back with so many other options.

I was so disappointed by our entire experience. We went for a special evening and the food was inedible yet expensive. The service was also extremely disappointing - the meal was rushed and they never asked how the dishes tasted, just took them away. It was also very loud - mostly due to the bartender who was practically screaming!

Very attentive service made our lunch quite enjoyable. The Garibaldi Salad was especially fresh and tasty and the side order of croquettes was tasty and a perfect complement. Also the budino dessert was fabulous and well worth the 10 minute wait; moreover, the small version was a generous portion that 3 of us shared.

The food wasn’t as good as my friend who have been there and told me how good their food about! The waiter we had was very nice and pleasant but the other waiter who was serving next table who had kicked my friend’s chair by accident where was a pretty big bump where even my friend was moved by that yet the waiter didn’t even turn around or a simple excuse me nor sorry! That just kinda killed a nice evening for our little friend get together!

The service was inattentive and slow, bordering on rude We had to ask for things several times. We asked four different waiters for salt . Our waiter seemed to disappear for long stretches of time. I've been to this restaurant many times but doubt I'll ever return or recommend it to others.

we came for our anniversary on the recommendation from friends who live in SF and also from others that have traveled to the city. This place did not disappoint! The food was divine and the service was insanely attentive! Every food item was not only eye-candy buy delicious as well! We had many of the traditional dishes and the sweet corn risotto as well...so perfect! We ended with the profiteroles which were amazing!! The star was so incredibly nice and made our anniversary meal the best yet! thank you!
