this is not a place to be concerned with budget. the food is good, but the food may arrive to the table cooler than expected. service was excellent.
Beautiful setting. Quality furnishings, very comfortable. Service was very good. And the food was excellent. The classic Caesars were delicious. I had the wonderful salmon, cooked perfectly. My husband had the scallops again, perfect.
We had sone coffee presses at the finish and took home a to die for piece of chocolate flourless torte.
Beautiful setting with great food and service.
We were there for my husband's birthday that fell on Thanksgiving this year. We ordered the olives and received some bread. The bread was stale and the olives looked like they were picked up at the grocery store and poured into a nice bowl. He order the Scallops and they did not disappoint at all, cooked and served to perfection. I ordered the Grouper and thought I've cooked it better myself. Probably will not go back, sorry
Enjoyed their 2021 Thanksgiving platter. Everything was delicious. Staff was very attentive and efficient.
Service, food and atmosphere was wonderful. Thank you for a lovely evening.
We had a great Thanksgiving dinner! The food tasted great, good portions at a fair price and our server Bobby had outstanding customer service. We have celebrated many occasions here and every time has been wonderful!
Lovely elegant ambiance with attentive service. I had the traditional Thanksgiving plate and it was both plentiful and delicious. My hubby who is not thrilled with traditional Thanksgiving fare had the seared scallops with risotto and asparagus and declared it the best scallops he has ever had. One of the best experiences we have had when eating out on Thanksgiving.
Garibaldi’s was a real treasure found in Savannah. The price was right. The service was great as was the food. We had the traditional Thanksgiving meal with a few surprises. Best Cranberry sauce I’ve ever eaten!
Great restaurant. My wife and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving there. We try to eat there every time we are in Savannah.
Wonderful thanksgiving meal with an excellent waiter and food! Gorgeous restaurant just adds to the experience.
Best stop in Savannah, our server Bobby was the best he made us feel like we were home for Thanksgiving.
It was great food and an entertaining bar man,Charlie, who had more stories than Mark Twain and Dr. Seus together. Really enjoyed it and will go back next time in Savannah.
Beautiful dining room, a tad bit too dark but wonderful food. Delicious dessert and great cocktails. Excellent service.
We always enjoy eating at Garibaldi’s! The shrimp risotto appetizer is our favorite! For main courses you really can not go wrong with any of them but my Wife enjoys their seafood Alfredo and I always have the steak Diane. The food is expertly prepared and best washed down with a bottle of wine. Left full and happy with a takeaway cheesecake to enjoy later.
Food was basic, place was very pretty and comfortable. Both of our dished were nothing special. Can’t say I would recommend this restaurant. Service was good. We don’t like to comment on disappointing food, as there is always another dinner tomorrow
Dinner was very good. Good choices. Service was excellent and very pleasant surroundings
Great experience! Our severs description of everything was amazingly accurate!
Food was outstanding, Lobster Rabini was to die for, scored flounder unbelievable, finish with pecan berry basket espresso and cognac... delightful! Our server, Chris, was very attentive. Atmosphere is exquisite.
First time there and the food and service were both very good.
Did not disappoint! Ambiance and food were exceptional especially the crispy scored flounder.
My Daughter (9) and I stopped in Savannah for a night and managed to get a last minute reservation 🙏 The ambience is absolutely exquisite and the food was superb! I had the poached pear salad and the lobster Ciopini. It was unforgettable! My daughter had the Shrimp cocktail. They were so accommodating with my child, offering a few off the menu kid options. I did not expect that from a restaurant of this caliber and will make this a must, for future visits to Savannah.
Everything was great! We had a lovely anniversary dinner. Thank you for excellent service!
Fabulous food! Scored Flounder! Wow!
We have been to Garibaldi many times and the experience has always been very good. Our service was great. All meals were good but smaller portions than we remembered but still tasty. We were very disappointed in the cost of the cocktails. We had Hendricks martinis at a cost of $18.50 each....which must be the highest cost in Savannah. We will be back but will enjoy a predinner cocktail at home or elsewhere.
The Grouper was delightful. Service impeccable. I would eat here again.
While the food was delicious, it was more pricey than we thought it would be, especially with drinks. Our server, Bobby, was fantastic though. Very professional and accommodating
Good was excellent unfortunately it was cold out of the kitchen
We are from Tampa and love visiting Savannah. This restaurant is by far my favorite here. Everything about it is perfect. Dining experience excellence!
Great food, wine list and service by Al was great.
When I booked, over a week in advance, I mentioned in comments that my wife and I would like to sit by a window upstairs. I was told a window was not available at the time of my reservation but would be in another 15 minutes. A few minutes later the maitre'd recommended a corner seat and encouraged we take it. I accepted the table, which was acceptable but was this disappointed in whatever failing resulted in this outcome.
We have eaten at Garibaldi’s many times before. No trip to Savannah is ever complete without dinner at this fabulous restaurant!! Thank you for another memorable dining experience.
Very disappointed. We had a 8:30pm reservation and weren’t seated until 9:05pm. At first service was good. Gabriel was our server. We ordered a nightly appetizer special of tomato Caprese. It came with 3 small, unripe tomatoes, and a few tiny pieces of mozzarella balls. We also added fried green tomatoes, those were pretty good. We ordered a “special” surf and turf, which included fillet mignon & lobster. As well as their chicken Milanese. The “ surf and turf” lobster tail was chewy and missing half of yhe “meat”. It also was no special at all as they charged us for steak Diane $46 & $22 as a add on, for the half lobster tail. One of the reasons we chose Garibaldi for our anniversary, was because of their dessert menu. When it came time to order they told us we couldn’t they said because the kitchen will not take the order. We asked even to go? They said no. Gabriel offered for us to see the “dessert liquor” menu. In which we declined. 15 min later a different server walked by us with a piece of pie for the table behind us. We stopped her and asked her why they were allowed to order dessert but we weren’t? She asked us what we would like and said of course we could order. We waited another 35 min to receive it and our bill. When it came (in a to-go box) the ice cream was melted and all the fruit had MOLD on it. When our server returned he started to backpedal and say that all orders had to be put in by 945, and he said that’s what the other tables did. In which we replied that we were not notified that that was even an option or going to be a problem. The whole vibe changed after we ordered our main entrée. Even the manger wouldn’t look at us or ask how our meal or anything was. We will never return, nor will we recommend. I wish I could post a pic of the dessert. It’s disgusting!
It was our 33rd wedding anniversary. We had made reservations, but it looked like they were seating some without reservations. We sat upstairs in the middle of the room. I wish it had been more near the windows. I had the sea scallops with risotto. My husband had the flounder. Both meals were delicious. The old fashioned was great. My husband had 2!
The manger was even out checking with tables as to the evening.
No special treatment even having mentioned our anniversary. It was still a nice evening!
Always great, not overly-complicated food. We also enjoyed our server who was relaxed and friendly. A nice evening out!
It was great
We had fried shrimp appetizer,Steak Diane, the New York Strip, and creme brûlée for dessert. Everything was phenomenal except dessert. It wasn’t even in the same ballpark as the other things we had. Our waitress was great and the atmosphere is very lovely. Overall great experience!
Lovely. A bit disappointed that we could not get in earlier. When we walked in, there were empty tables. Food and service was great. Flounder was as good as I remember.
The flounder signature dish was fabulous! One of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. The service was excellent but we had difficulty hearing the masked waiter. The restaurant was busy and the noise level was high. Go for the food!
