The Garden Terrace at The Hilton Denver Inverness Ratings and Reviews
Always the best food and array of food. Thought typically I receive terrific service starting with a head waiter assisted by various waiters, this time was different. Admittedly I arrived after my other guest, but I made the reservation and the head waiter never appeared or identified themselves while I was there. Typically, the head waiter comes by to make sure we are being taken care of, and the assistants are constantly filling coffee cups, memosa glasses, and clearing plates. I had to asked several times by going to the waiter station. It was like, as I described to one waiter, we were on a different planet. We saw other tables being taken care of, while ours was not. This has never happened before, and a huge disappointment when I recommend the restaurant to others.
We had Sunday brunch with friends and the experience was exceptional: food was diverse and delicious, service was superb, ambiance was casual and cozy, chairs were very comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. We intend to be frequent patrons for the Sunday brunch!
The Sunday Brunch at The Garden Terrace is one of the best in Denver. We had family visiting over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and decided that we would have an early holiday brunch at The Garden Terrace. From the omelets to the seafood to the desserts, all were great. The only thing that was better than the food was the exceptional service. The mimosas were promptly refilled as well as the coffee and water for the designated driver (me). Plates were cleared making room for more. We highly recommend The Garden Terrace Sunday Brunch for anyone looking for that special place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or just holidays with family and friends.
The Sunday brunch was FANTASTIC! (I don't normally use all caps...) The food and presentation are without equal in Denver metro. Service was not up to the standard (slow on drinks and clearing of plates), but the quality of the food made up for it. Oh and the restaurant has a view, overlooking Inverness golf course and Centennial Airport to the east...
I highly recommend!
The Sunday brunch at the Inverness is much better since it has been purchased by Hilton. Seafood was plentiful, and there was a live jazz ensemble playing. The live music was a nice touch. The price is reasonable for a buffet brunch, and the food is good. We will definitely go back.
We have been to this brunch many times and it is still amazing how very good it is. From the hostess to the wait staff to the wonderful chefs, this place has it all. The food is always good and I mean always, with seasonal delights and consistent standbys . Going to brunch here is a very pleasant experience from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. We look forward to it every time!
We celebrated our mom's birthday here with brunch. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. The restaurant was very accommodating for my 18 month daughter. They went out of the way to provide food she could eat. The price is on the higher end for brunch, but the ambiance was great.
The Sunday Brunch is one of, if not the, best in Denver. We have been going there for special occasions and holidays for several years, and the change to Hilton has not changed the excellent cuisine or great service. The food variety is great, the food quality is very good, and the inventiveness along with standard favorites is one of the best attractions -- something on the buffet for everyone's pallet. Try this culinary feast once, and you will come back again and again.
The food was good but not as good as past experiences. The roast prime beef was way over cooked. The food needs to be hotter when being brought out. I took a helping of eggs benedict just as the server was bringing it out of the kitchen and it was barely warm. Need to have cocktail forks available for the crab legs. This trip was not really worth the price.
I have been going to this place for over 25 years. I love the food and ambiance . This visit the service was only fair. I had to keep asking the waitress to keep my water glass full and the cranberry juice was very watered down. The food was great. Most of the time this is a great place to have brunch!
Brunch at the Inverness is kind of an old standby. On the positive side, they have a huge array of choices, and so no one should leave hungry. They are also willing to take special orders - for instance their eggs benedict dish last Sunday contained shrimp, and I had really been looking forward to a traditional benedict. I asked the waitress and the kitchen quickly complied with my request. Nice !
On the negative side, I'd say that much of the food seemed under-seasoned. Perhaps they're trying to please everyone, but I found a few dishes that sounded delicious ended up being bland.
That atmosphere is still nice, the small jazz combo was accomplished and not intrusive, and the service staff is excellent. So even while I have absolutely no major complaints, I think next time I'm thinking of brunch, I'll look to find something with a little more edge, or a place that brings something a bit new and exciting to the standby meal......
Sorry for them, that they weren't busier, but it made for one of the best locations I've been to for a Business lunch.
And I really liked it, that the menu was only one page. Didn't have to keep flipping back and forth trying to decide what to have. Food quality was very good.
If ever need a location on the south-end of the city, I'll go back again.
Best brunch in town. This is my kid's very favorite restaurant - they are 4 and 5 years old. They call it "Frunch" because they can have as much French toast as they can eat. They also like the seafood, which they previously would not eat. But, if you can get it at Frunch, it must be good so they are willing to try.
It's a great place but our celebratory brunch was ruined by the children who were being allowed to scream at the top of their lungs and run around on the lower level of the room. The management should have had the guts to make it stop. It was bothering everyone except the family who was allowing it to happen
