The name GAONNURI represents our placement in what we believe is the center of the world, both physically and figuratively. Located in the heart of New York City, a city that represents the intersection of the finest cuisines and eclectic cultures, GAONNURI seeks to gather people of all backgrounds to share in a traditional Korean dining experience. We hope that the authenticity of the food and the enjoyment of the dining experience will invite patrons for generations to come.     The staff was exceptional; attentive, kind, and genuinely friendly. The view of the city was beautiful both day and night, but the interior felt underwhelming. We probably would have had a better experience ordering à la carte and enjoying the same view without needing to sit near the window.

    Went with my kids for the omakase. Absolutely fantastic and they made me write a review! Great service, the omakase was awesome to try so many meats….. highly recommended!!

    Celebrated bday with my friends. Best choice! The restaurant provided free dessert for best wishes. Food was yummy and atmosphere was fantastic. Thank you!

    This was my first KBBQ ever. It was a great dining experience. It was dinner for 2 and the premium set was amazing and probably have more food than we imagined. But all of it was good, even the banchan. And then Ryan was the best. He took care of us, made a good recommendation on Soju and explained the sets for us. His vibe was also good, which made the dining experience not stressful at all. The views of Manhattan was also a good, while the inddor as nice and dimmed. I've always loved the experience of going to a place in Manhattan that you take an elevator to and automatically walk into a great ambuance Will definitely come back here
