best view best food sean is best waiter great atmosphere
Is ok if you had not been there before. But for me is only one time deal.
So glad to have tried this place. I’ll be sure to come back next time in town.
Very disappointing. Our server was not attentive at all. We had to flag her down to get more water or anything else we needed. We sat for an hour and 15mins waiting for her to come and clear dishes after we finished our appetizers. It was a very disappointing experience, especially for the amount of money we paid to eat there.
Restaurant was nice, staff was friendly, very nice view of the city. Food and pricing were both good.
Spectacular views, great service by a friendly and courteous staff and delicious food. We were told that "window seating" is only available with an advance reservation of three weeks, even though we reserved a 5:30 time and were out before 7:00. Otherwise, highly recommended NYC dining.
Amazing place, great experience. Loved the food and the view.
Goannuri is a place to go to impress your date or celebrate
the food is quite fine the service could not have been better
the setting with fantastic manhattan views on three sides is just stunning
Great food and service. The sets are a great option.
Got the barbeque (bibimbap, marinated galbi and pork belly) as well as tried all the desserts and they were all delicious!
Excellent beef barbecue and amazing view of the city
The best part of this place is the amazing views. Make sure to book early to get the window table. Food is OK - there are better options on the same block if you just want good Korean BBQ. The waiters were very polite and pleasant.
Amazing views but the food is just average compared to some of the other Korean restaurants in the neighborhood.
Excelente lugar!, la calidad de la comida es increíble, los meseros muy serviciales y la vista indescriptible
First, the food was outstanding. No complaints there. Our server was clearly busy and I certainly can show him grace, but we had an issue with the check and getting receipts necessary for business billing and his response to this was less than professional. He told us he was too busy to deal with it and acted like we were being difficult when the mistake was his, to begin with. We were nothing but gracious and simply wished we had received the same respect as paying customers.
We had a very fun time celebrating my husbands birthday! The food was solid but not exceptional. The ambiance was nice- towards the upscale without being stuffy. The prices were a little steep for the overall quality of the food and ambiance but overall we had a lovely time!
It was ok. But food was a little too spicy, not a lot of food for the price. Although view was good. Service was ok but nothing special.
My husband, daughter, officiant, her husband, & I had dinner at Gaonnuri after renewing our vows for our 10 year wedding anniversary in Central Park. Everything about our experience was perfect! We let our server know at the start of the meal that I have a dairy allergy & everyone was super accommodating. We enjoyed the Goan Set which was absolutely delicious, along with the Japchae to start. Our officiant ordered the cod dish & couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful it was. She also raves about her Mojito. Her husband stepped out of his comfort zone with this meal & his drink choice to his content. All in all, it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We will definitely return!
Gaonurri is an excellent Korean BBQ restaurant with an amazing view! It was well worth the price.
Perfect restaurant to celebrate our friends 30th birthday. The food was delish and the skyline view is gorgeous
This restaurant is upscale and the views are stunning, so overall it is a very enjoyable dinner spot. The service is excellent, if a bit rushed as you need to leave 90 minutes after being seated so that there can be new clients. This felt too rushed especially for a long meal with drinks , appetizers, barbecue.. No way there was time to have dessert or coffee afterwards.. So this was disappointing.
The food was very good, especially the seafood scallion pancake and the barbecue (except the bulgogi which I was really disappointed about as it is my favorite). The galbi (short ribs) were amazing though.
The side dishes that came with the barbecue were not amazing, just good.
Overall, a LOT of food and an enjoyable evening, but the food could definitely be better.
We have been there many times and it’s always a good experience .
Best eating experience during our week's visit to NYC
My favorite restaurant in NYC. Food- excellent; service - exceptional; view - beautiful. A strong 10 out of 10!
Amazing meal-delicious Korean BBQ-great service from Jason
We had a great experience again! We love to come here
Seems to be in decline; the service areas are messy yet in full view. Wait staff doesn’t fill water without request. The food is decent, but the only reason to visit this restaurant is the service and environment, and those have depreciated.
Food was a bit salty but service was incredible
Very delicious and ample.
Awesome place all around if you can afford to Try!
Great food! Will come back to enjoy the experience.
The food and ambience were absolutely stellar! Service wasn't particularly friendly but very professional
Great views from the 39th floor. Server was very attentive and offered great suggestions on menu items for family of 4 with two teens. Food was delicious.
The ambience was spectacular! Please request a seat with a view. The food was absolutely delicious , the waiters give excellent recommendations. The service was great, everyone was attentive and helpful. The restaurant is not extremely expensive but you definitely get what you pay for . It is worth it!
The servers were amazing and attentive. The views and the food were phenomenal.
Good food and service
Always a five star experience. Ambiance? GREAT. Atmosphere? GREAT. Views? GREAT. Staff? GREAT. Food?? THE BEST!! I always recommend the bulgogi and the pork belly here. It’s so delicious. I don’t think anyone else makes it the way they do. The dumplings are also super good!
Great hidden classy gem in midtown close to Penn Station.
It was lovely. Celebrated a birthday. They could have amped it up a bit. Not their style. In any event, they gave us the view I requested and the food was delicious. The other things would have been nice, but….
