The name GAONNURI represents our placement in what we believe is the center of the world, both physically and figuratively. Located in the heart of New York City, a city that represents the intersection of the finest cuisines and eclectic cultures, GAONNURI seeks to gather people of all backgrounds to share in a traditional Korean dining experience. We hope that the authenticity of the food and the enjoyment of the dining experience will invite patrons for generations to come.     We had an amazing time to celebrate my parents birthday. Everything was perfect: delicious food, perfect service. This was our last diner in New York and I must say we will never forget it! I strongly recommend Gaonurri and thanks for having given us such a wonderful time.

    When you pay $536 for a meal for two and they come and give you the bill even though you haven't asked for anything after 2 hours, that's really pathetic and shows a lack of respect for the customer!!!

    Our favorite restaurant to take out of town guests that we want to impress. Excellent in every way. A hidden gem that exemplifies what great New York dining is all about. Do yourself a favor and run, don’t walk to Gaonnuri.

    This restaurant offers excellent service and delicious food in a refined Korean barbecue setting with a great view. It wasn’t busy on a Thursday night, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even adjusting for my friend’s slight delay in arrival.
