We didn’t know what to expect but wow it was worth it! Food taste was exceptional. If you thought you knew Korean food, this opened up my pallet to what it should truly taste like. The flavors were not “bold” per se but strong without effort. Loud without being loud. It was very very good. Service was exceptional. A Must visit.

I already came with the expectation that the food wouldn’t be amazing, and mostly came for the views. But I didn’t expect the food to be this mid. I came here a few years ago and the food was ok but now the quality and portions have gone down significantly. Overly salty. It was jarring bc the views and ambiance alludes to a great dining experience but the food was such a weird contrast. Small details like outdated tableware and fraying placemats also felt off. It doesn’t feel authentic & more like a tourist trap. The only saving grace was the amazing & sweet waitstaff. Can’t believe I’m saying this but you’re better off going to Jogro lol.

The service is impeccable. The beef was all seasoned and cooked really well table side. The view of Manhattan is amazing. I really like this place and have been back several times.

This is a restaurant that takes pride in its service. Excellent, friendly, and highly accommodating staff. The Omakase BBQ course was splendid.

We had an amazing time to celebrate my parents birthday. Everything was perfect: delicious food, perfect service. This was our last diner in New York and I must say we will never forget it! I strongly recommend Gaonurri and thanks for having given us such a wonderful time.

When you pay $536 for a meal for two and they come and give you the bill even though you haven't asked for anything after 2 hours, that's really pathetic and shows a lack of respect for the customer!!!

Our favorite restaurant to take out of town guests that we want to impress. Excellent in every way. A hidden gem that exemplifies what great New York dining is all about. Do yourself a favor and run, don’t walk to Gaonnuri.

It was a good experience the personal was very nice and we like the dinner the just one thing we don’t like is to much air conditioner
