Gandhi's Indian Restaurant
We have been to Gandhi’s on numerous occasions and we always find the service along with the food to be excellent.
For this visit, I enjoyed the tandoori shrimp and basmati rice . Before the entrees a basket of papadum and three dipping sauces were placed on the table. We also ordered aloo paratha, a fried bread with potato that was nicely spiced and had a wonderful texture.
Looking forward to the next visit
Far exceeded my expectations. Needed to find a place where my vegan sister-in-law would enjoy our dinner together. Ghandi's was all that. Great food, great service. A bit pricey but we'll worth it!
Always an outstanding experience! We haven’t had an average dinner, they all been phenomenal!
The food was good but not great. The cauliflower florets were delicious. The shiskebab mediocre. The chicken tikka could be more flavored. But in all ok. We will go back.
Very nice atmosphere, food is presented well..service friendly and timely. My only comment would be that entrees are a bit expensive.. However I would recommend the restaurant.
Service started out great but then went sour when we ordered desert and then waited and waited and waited before finally giving up, paying our bill and leaving. Really soured our experience.
They always do a great job. The spice level is not always consistent but the overall quality of the meal is never in doubt. Great ingredients and great family recipes.
Beautiful decor, great food, good service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food.
Excellent Indian food with a friendly and attentive staff. A nice dinner out with friends.
I was a little disappointed this time. I found the food to be on the bland side. I eaten here many times, I hope this was a one time occurrence.
THE SERVICE AND FOOD WERE EXCELLENT. THE FOOD IS AUTHENTIC INDIAN FOOD AND ONE OF THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANTS IN SOUTH FLORIDA, THE MENU IS DEVOID OF SOME OF THE MOST POPULAR ITEMS SUCH AS CHICKEN PAKORA. IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE AND OVERPRICED.
Our favorite Indian cuisine. I think they make the best Tandoori chicken. The staff is very helpful explaining dishes, ingredients and heatlevel
Great selection for the vegetarian and meat eater alike.
Have dined here 4 times and the Food is good but the wait staff are not friendly and could be a little more polite. I’m spending on average $75 for dinner and it would be nice if wait staff could show some sense of appreciation and politeness
By far the best Indian around ....great food , even better service . Cozy atmosphere.
Been here many times, always a delight. Service is wonderful and concerned and the food is a treat
I have been there numerous times and always found it delicious and well served. The wait staff is helpful and very friendly. I have sent friends to this wonderful spot and they have never been disappointed.
We were very impressed with this restaurant. We went on a holiday with a group of 7 people. One of our group is blind and has a service dog. They seated us away from customers that might be uncomfortable, The service was great. The food was delicious and had many choices for those of us that are vegetarians and vegans. Some of us wanted very spicy food and others did not. The restaurant accommodated each of our choices. The ambiance is beautiful. All of us would definitely go back again. They were kind and respectful!
We enjoyed our choices. Indian breads, soups and entrees. Service is excellent.
Tandoori chicken was very moist. Lamb kofta meatballs in sauce was flavorable, as was the chunky lamb.
The mixed grill which was tandoori chicken, shrimp and lamb sausage should have had more than one shrimp and one lamb sausage. As well made as it was, it contained too much chicken.
Indian beer and wine is on the menu.
If you like Indian food, you will love Gandhi's. Plenty of delicious options and our new go to place for fine Indian dining.
Food was GREAT — Best Indian food I’ve had in the USA! (It’s even better in London, & I’ve never been to India, but I’ve eaten in Indian restaurants all around the US, from south Florida to Washington DC & New York City, and this is really the best in the US — even better than Nirvana on the rooftop overlooking Central Park in NYC). The basmati rice is SO aromatic! Each dish is unique (and delicious) and authentic — (although I still can’t get used to New World veggies like tomatoes & potatoes, but I’ve dined at the homes of Indian friends and they use them also).
Friendly service & delicious food. We will definitely be back soon.
Great food, and very attentive customer service.
AUTHENTIC and well-prepared Indian food. This was the best Indian Restaurant we have ever experienced in South Florida!!! In fact, the only place we’ve had significantly better Indian food was in London, England ( and that was 20 years ago). We found dishes on the menu that we have not seen on any other restaurants’s menus in the U.S. and we tried one of them — DELICIOUS. We had the Lamb Roganjosh (a classic preparation) and a previously-unfamiliar-to-us oven -baked vegetarian dish that was a house specialty which was delicious, albeit hardly low-calorie— the taste of ghee was unmistakable, and the size and number of the pieces of lovely, very firm paneer was generous. Overall, a most enjoyable experience.
This is our favorite Indian restaurant. the decor is pleasing. The staff is very attentive.
The food is fabulous. It is right in our neighborhood. The owners are really nice. The staff will explain the dishes and make recommendations based on your palette
I was wow'ed, food was amazing, wait staf were wonderful, selection was terrefic.
Always great. It’s been consistently good. They always use great ingredients. Their home made deserts are awesome.
Everything was excellent, food and service. Not crowded for lunch. I have been here before and the restaurant is consistently good.
Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. Food and service is superb! If you love Indian food you won't be disappointed.
It’s the best Indian restaurant outside of London I love this place the chicken wings are phenomenal
Great food can’t wait to go back and try a few other dishes. They all looked so good.
We always enjoy having dinner at Gandhi. We are always seated immediately and our order taken promptly. Papadam and several sauces are served as soon as orders are taken. Appetizers are pretty good especially the cauliflower if you are a spice lover. The vegetable samosa is very good too as are the shrimp. If you do not like very spicy food the chicken tandoori is a safe choice. Chicken tikka masala is very good. Level of spice adjusted to taste so indicate to server when ordering the degree of spiciness you prefer. Basmati rice is served along with most main dishes. Vegetarian dishes are good. Curried vegetables are tasty but we prefer the vegetables with korma sauce. Garlic naan is outstanding. While the food is authentic and very well prepared, the prices reflect the quality and are a bit high.
Excellent food and service. The food was authentic and cooked to perfection. Great meal!
I am not an avid Indian food lover, and I found the food to be tasty, very good in fact. The wait staff took the time to explain the different dishes and levels of "heat" to us, so we were able to make yummy choices. Will definitely be back for another try.
I am so happy that this restaurant is so close to me. Decent Indian food is possible to find in South Florida. However, Gandhi's is always exceptional and well above average. They are always consistent. They also use great ingredients and take pride in their food. Their chicken tikka is amazing and their sauces are always well done with the appropriate spice levels. They do a great job with presentation. Their wait staff is very professional and knowledgeable. The prices are amazing during lunch and still very reasonable for dinner. I see great ingredients in every dish. The desserts are also very well done and authentic. Love this place.
We have ben to Gandhi before , having been referred by a couple from India and enjoyed it so we returned. We liked it this time too. I had a starter that was in tamarind sauce and was delicious and my husband had the cauliflower appetizer which he loved. Our main dishes were excellent too. Up to that point in the meal service had been very good when suddenly a party of 10 left and chaos ensued in cleaning up after them. We were ready to order dessert but everyone was fussing over, the clean up until we flagged someone down. Otherwise it was all good and we’ll go back.
If u enjoy Indian cuisine this lovely restaurant is the place. Spent some time in Manhattan with r Indian town and this holds their own.
