Gandhi - India's Cuisine
At Gandhi we feel that going the extra mile to making your experience both authentic and unforgettable is our calling. We remember the comfort of the aroma of mustard seeds as “Maa-ta-jee ” (Mom's) cooked meals that were unforgettably delicious, and we strive to honor her by bringing the flavors to you. Bombay and Delhi may be thousands of miles away, but the traditions are as close as a short ride from the strip. We pride ourselves for being the best and only Traditional and Authentic Indian Restaurant serving Las Vegas since 1993. We are available for lunch buffet and dinner, private dining, banquets, parties and caterings. Namaste
Very good food. Authentic Indian fare. Away from the Strip, so one can enjoy a quiet evening.
awesome and authentic food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very big serving sizes on appetizers, breads and main courses.
The service could be more structured and attentive. You've different people coming and asking how things are randomly but don't find someone when you need. Ordered dessert and it took eons to come that also on asking someone for it. The food is nice and worth going for Indian food. I had gone for lunch buffet on previous occasion and had enjoyed it much more, hence visited this time for dinner.
Food is good but requires better customer service.
The chicken in my vindiloo was as if it had been picked from the chicken carcase! Not in the slightest spicy where my partners korma was more spicier than she expected.
Maybe we dined too early in the evening to expect any ambience.
The beer we were offered was a mite expensive even for Las Vegas at 10 bucks a bottle!!
Food was pleasant, wait staff could be a bit more friendly and smile...
Overall good experience. The place is a little dark for my liking... but might suit others.
We walked in and they told us it was a night buffet. They didn’t let us know the price so we just started to eat. The food was old and not good. It was over priced. Would not recommend.
We have been here several times and it is always good.
Gandhi's is closed for renovations. I made reservations over a month ago and OpenTable accepted it. They even sent me a reminder email the day of. We went there and there was a big sign "closed for renovations." Great job!
Most expensive Indian buffet with very less option paid 18 dollar for bad buffet
Food was not that good and prices are high as per food quality.
Vegetable biriyani was spicy though it should be little on sweeter side.
Service wa slow and staff needs to be trained more professionally.
Interior is so bad, doesn't feel like Indian background. Looks like Chinese design interior.
Doesn't feel like high end Indian dining restaurant.
Need lot of improvement in interior design, professional staff and food quality.
They declined to take our open table reservation as they were packed
Found it very disappointing
Although the app allowed me to book a 10:15 reservation, the host or waiter asked me why I booked a 10:15 res if they close at 10:30... Perhaps they don't want to allow the app to show 10:15PM as an option.
The food was delicious. waitstaff was friendly and kind. Bollywood on the TV's will keep you entertained
One of the finest Indian restaurants in Montreal. While the food is delicious, the atmosphere is more upscale than any other Indian restaurants we have visited in Montreal, or anywhere. We were expecting a high bill because of this, but were pleasantly surprised even there.
Gandhi's was a great option for our group of 12. The food was very good and they offered several good options for the vegans and vegetarians in our group. The staff was very nice and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. They offer so many dishes that can be shared family style too.
Gandhi's is a stop I MUST make if I'm in the Las Vegas area. Delicious food, great service and cute waiters!
It's an indian restaurant with a good service n lovely food .
We were recommend this restaurant by some friends who recently visited Vegas and they told us how great the food was and we were not disappointed. Excellent and authentic Indian Cuisine with great service. We will definitely come back when we decide to visit Vegas again, highly recommend this place. We met the owner (I think) and he was really nice and professional as well.
It was like i was invisible. Was seared but since they did not give me a menu all staff thought i was waiting on my food.
Passing me etc. I waited 25 mins before saying anything. Should of got some free rice or something :)
Food was outstanding. Service. Not so great for me. I could of spoken up sooner but just wanted to see if they would ever come by.
One of the main dishes(name unknown) was watery. Wine ordered was different than received. Wine poured was not sampled prior to filling both glasses. A disappointing experience ! Very different from reviews previously reported.
The food served was very good. Paneer items were tasty. Place is very kid friendly and service was amazing.
Our group of 12 really enjoyed the lunch buffet; the staff was attentive and the ambiance was great. There were TV's mounted on the walls with music videos playing. The music was a little on the loud side, however, it was not annoying. Some people dancing in place while waiting for their turn on the buffet line :-)
The food was delicious; we will definitely return.
My wife and I ordered Tandori chicken and Tandori prawns. We asked that the food be cooked on the "mild" side and were told that there would be no problem modulating the spiciness. While the entrees tasted fine, they were way too hot for our tastes. Our mouths were burning for a long time. Food should not hurt. Sadly, we probably won't be returning.
Both servers were very good n friendly, say thanks to them .
Has Gandhi changed hands? We have been going there for years. It is in a crummy location but I always felt it was the best Indian food in Vegas. Went there for the buffet on Christmas Eve day and it was atrocious. Food quality and selection was not up to their standard and the service was really awful. Time to find a new Indian restaurant.
I have had Indian food all over the world, and in many places around the states as well. This was, by far, the best Indian food I've had in Vegas, and probably in the states in general. The appetizers came out quickly, the food was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the desserts were the perfect amount of sweet. Portion size was perfect too. The chef even made me a special dish, as I'm pregnant and had very a specific craving that night! The waitress, Crystal, was very attentive and even told me to call in my order and ask for her next time, and she would make sure the chef made me my Aloo Paneer Korma dish every time! Bottom line: excellent service, amazing food, very reasonable prices and I will be back time and time again!
We had a group of 16 here 8 of which were children. They staff was phenomenal and chef did their best to make a very mild level spice fir the kids orders.
The Thali plates are great for those unsure on what to have. We will definitely return here
I think the best Indian Food in las Vegas. Air conditioned was not working. it looks like they switch off the AC after most of the people left. we were 7 and was hot.
Worth the couple of blocks walk off the Vegas Strip. Enjoyed the Thali entrees, which provided a great sampling of Indian food. Samosas were delicious. Very quiet the night we were there, which was a nice change from the line ups at the restaurants on the strip. Good, friendly service too.
This review is for the dinner service: The service was nice but the food was way below what I was expecting. The appetizers seemed like they were frozed then thawed and deep fried. Not freshly made. It was over seasoned with salt and what tasted like corriander. The chicken biryani was tasteless and bland. My friend got the vindaloo which was alright. The plain white rice for the vindaloo was dry. The rice may have been the leftover from the lunch buffet from that afternoon. All in all, I would not recommend this place.
