It was my birthday and i must say despite being outside the food was amazing. Definitely would recommend.
Amazing experience
The music was a little too lively
Perfect date night spot, Galli is my absolute go to and never disappoints. Food , service, ambiance is terrific
The food & drinks are really good and well priced and the restaurant is spacious with a nice vibe!
Food was mediocre
Food was comically terrible.
I had a great experience and they cater to dietary restrictions which was great because I am gluten/dairy free.
Just perfect, service, food and drinks. Not to mention the presentation of the menu and the food itself.
Had some of my favorite pasta here at Galli!
Started with the ceasar salad which was so delicious.
For dinner we got the Pesto and Funghi pastas which were incredible. Never had anything like the Funghi before in nyc!! Definitely would recommend
Perfect mid week dinner. Our waiter Jason was new to the restaurant but was already on his game. Recommended several popular items on the menu. We will definitely be coming back
The hostess was extremely rude upon checking in. I told her we had a 7:30 resy, she stopped me mid sentence and walked away. There was an issue with the seating of another table and it apparently needed 2 people working there to sort it out. After waiting for several minutes, she came over to me and just looked at me very blank in the eye and didnt say anything. So I had to repeat myself again and she didnt say anything and sort of just grumbled something and sat us down. The pasta was def over cooked. My boyfriend is Neapolitan so this was very disappointing. The food used to be so much better, I dont know what happened.
Great service. Great food.
Host and servers were awesome accommodating a large group... food was great too!
I just wanted to stop by and grab a bite somewhere after shopping and this was close. I wasn’t a fan on my food by bacon tasted like it was freezerburned then chopped up into the carbonara. Ehh but the sauce was awesome and the waiters were exceptional.
Very mediocre. Pasta was very al dente. Received cocktails after our meal when ordered well before. Low staff for the amount of tables they were waiting. Not sure if this is just during COVID.
Loved the food an drinks. A Lovely setting for a date or after work drinks right in the heart of SoHo. Cheers.
super long wait for order to be taken/food to come out and not even super busy.
Very relaxed spot for outside seating with friends!
I understand the stress and adjustments that have to be made during this time so I wasn’t upset. However, this review is just being made to encourage everyone to pay attention to all of their customers. If you don’t have the capacity or man power to take on reservations, simply don’t. I was there for an hour an a half before I got an appetizer. 30 minutes for a glass of wine. Hour for the 2nd glass. Never received dinner. It’s fine... I get the times we are in, simply try to do better or make adjustments to accommodate everyone. I watched the table in front of me get their drinks and appetizers in less than half the time it took me to get mine and they were a table of 6.
Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere
Disappointed. Felt like the server was overworked and we were there for over 2 hours and never even received our main course.
The place has always been such a great spot. Need to help out their servers as it seemed like it was too much for them to handle all by themselves.
It was good! But they ran out of a TON of stuff and it was only 7pm. So we were limited on what to order.
A great neighborhood hangout, Good well priced menu selection. Taking all Covid precautions. Wonderful helpful/accommodating staff.
Had a reservation but was seated all the way down the block next to parked cars on the street. Completely away from the main outdoor dining area where there were string lights and a nice ambiance. Felt like we were eating dinner isolated on a random city sidewalk, because we were. When I looked to my left, I was looking inside the window of a parked car. Was not the experience we wanted or expected. We were not walk ins - we had a reservation.
Salmon was completely raw in the middle.
Only 1 or 2 waiters for way too many customers. Sprinting back and forth, stressed out. Service was sub par because they were understaffed.
Great spot
While the food was good and the value of our meal was great (due to a Pulsd deal), the noise level and vibe of the restaurant was terrible. What I thought was going to be a romantic Friday evening dinner turned out to feel like eating a meal in a club. Gnocchi and Chicken Francaise simply don't mesh well with blasting hip hop music. It was also difficult getting the attention of staff as the restaurant's small bar was heavily populated.
Food was okay.
Service was subpar. Perhaps server was new. She barely checked in. Ended up asking other servers for water, additional drinks, check etc...
Salad was good and so was portion. Unfortunately our entrees were extremely salty. My husband sent his back and didn’t bother to order another dish. I ate a bit of mine and then gave up. We decided to leave with no dessert. Our waiter, however was great and very attentive. Restaurant is loud but fine if you’re into that vibe.
it was a lovely restaurant but a bit too loud. the food and service were both very good.
I’d recommend for a birthday celebration, not a date night. Food was okay, service was pretty bad but i think the waiter was training. Overall better for a young crowd.
Amazing food
Delicious food - a very memorable experience in NYC.
The food here was average. Unfortunately, the service was not great. It took a while for the waitress to come over to our table to acknowledge us or take drink orders. The appetizer was brought out after everyone got their food and the food was brought out at different times, so my husband finished his pasta before my children and I even received our food. With the amount of italian restaurants in NYC- I would go somewhere else next time.
Everything was delicious!!! Great atmosphere and music
Food was yummy
Desserts too!
I loved Galli when I first came to New York to visit. I made tonight’s reservation for a late Valentine’s Day dinner with my boyfriend and we were both disappointed with the food. I first ordered the Pollo dish and it was bland and flavorless. Tasted like an expensive buttered noodles. My boyfriend ordered the Bolognese and it was basically rigatoni with red sauce and a tiny bit of meat. The service was okay, but nothing great. Overall I’m really disappointed with the experience for a Valentine’s Day dinner and I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon.
It was perfect
It was really great, definitely a little pricy but it’s the type of place that makes it worth it. Will be back!
I have no complaints. This place is amazing. I will be returning.
Terrible service , the waitress was rude and was annoyed when I asked again for the drinks she never brought us.
