We were seated ahead of our reservation time, and attended to immediately. Our waitress, Olivia, was exemplary. The appetizer, including fried calamari, green olives, and lemon was unique and delicious. The salads were delicious, and the lobster fettuccine was delectable. The manager engaged us in conversation and remembered our name. A 10 out of 10!

The staff was very kind and attentive enough to where you’re taken care of but don’t get the feeling like you’re being rushed through your meal. My girlfriend and I visited for our anniversary and the had menus that were personalized for the celebration and they also congratulated us! The ambience of the venue was fantastic!

As a professional chef and general manager I would have to say the food was fair. The ambience however was excellent and sitting on the patio is worth the price of admission.

Excellent steak as usual however fourst time ordering the panko chicken. Very dissapointed as skin not browned and gummy looking with panko crumbs sitting on top. All sides, wine etc great!

The food was excellent. Salmon was probably the best I have ever had. We sat on the patio, which was lovely, but the noise level was too high. There was a lot of traffic noise from the street. We will definitely be back.

Anniversary dinner. We sat outside on a warm evening. My lobster was great with a great presentation and tasted even better. My wife's shrimp was perfect. The calamari appetizer was unique and enjoyable. Service was attentive and friendly. It's not an inexpensive restaurant but you get what you pay for! We'll be back.

Excellent rib eye steak! The short ribs were mostly fat with very little meat. Great waitress but they are clearly short staffed. Going to try it again. Have been here before for a birthday and wedding. Food usually good.

This restaurant is positively our favorite in Modesto. We had a special occasion dinner, and their lovely manager, Cal, arranged a perfect evening. Service was impeccable( food was delicious! We will be back. You can go there even if it is not a special occasion.

Positives: Filet was fork tender, cooked perfectly. Roasted Beet Salad was great. Caesar salad was all time best ever. Chocolate bread pudding with caramel sauce and Vanilla Bean Gelato was superb. Wine was priced competitively. Negatives: Frito Misto (Calamari & friends) was worst we've ever had, ever. Old rancid fry oil, few calamari except over-fried legs. Pork chop ordered medium was cook well done, thus kind of tough. Root veg side, had so much mustard, that zero other flavors came through. Broccolini side was barely cooked/crunchy. Overall: higher highs, but lower lows - makes the price/value weak.

We had a large group for a special event and 5 out of 6 people loved their meals. The steak risotto was a favorite as well as the rib-eye. Scampi pasta was a bit spicy and dry. We loved the desserts but wish they were served warm. Seriously, does anyone like cold bread pudding? Service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Went for a pre Gallo Center dinner. There were six of us. The bruschetta was good. The beet salad was ok but it had too much dressing. My husband thought his chicken was average. My ravioli were so salty I could not eat them. Also the broccolini on two other plates were also too salty. Drinks were great. Service was great. For the price point we paid, I would expect a better quality of food and a bit more attention to plating. Probably wont come back but the location is very convenient.

To my surprise, the music was loud, it’s usually “background” music. That’s one of the things that separates Galletto Ristorante from other restaurants… the details. Any restaurant can play loud music, a fine dinner house should not! Service was slow, very unusual.
