Great Mother’s Day brunch.
Good breakfast menu with good service
Nice courtyard setting with minimal noise level
Really nice evening. The staff was terrific. Food was delicious.
Our waiter, Miguel, was so kind, accommodating and conscientious to our needs before ever having to ask. This has become our hidden gem, pregame hockey go-to with friends. No yelling above crowd noise; just great to converse with home and visiting fans.
Great atmosphere, great service - everyone was calm and kind -
The service was so slow and there was only one other table in the restaurant. The food was ok but it was cold when it arrived.
A bit disappointed. The food was just ok and I would say not worth the price. It's located above the main lobby of the restaurant and there were people who were obviously staying at the hotel in Jean shorts/ball caps so not really that upscale for the price, again. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich and it was very greasy- gave him a stomach ache even though he didn't finish it. Service was fair.
Excellent food and wonderful environment. Server was not organized missed order 3 times and out of Fish, was first guest
I love this place ,so beautiful, the food is so good and service was amazing ,Jay who waited for us was great, was helpful with the menu and was so charming ,made my son's 16th birthday a day to remember
Wasn't a typical CBJ pregame stop but quite a pleasant experience. Low-key, could actually converse without yelling, bartender and server exceptional. Entrees a bit high but enough sandwiches or appetizers to keep the budget intact. Awesome proximity to the arena; will definitely be back.
Host was very friendly, had our table ready right at reservation time; server was great; food and cocktails were excellent, and the entire group appreciated the natural light and ambiance of the restaurant.
Didn’t realize that we would be among the first guests, as the restaurant doesn’t open until 5pm. The servers were literally standing around waiting for 5p to seat us. We got an appetizer (wings were good) and drinks (also very good) and left to meet up with friends somewhere else. The cold hospitality and bad vibe were just not worth the price or time.
It's a quiet restaurant, not quite what we wanted actually, because we were heading to a country music concert, but we had to go with what was available. But, the food was excellent, our waiter Jay was GREAT!
We loved the atmosphere and our waiter was great! It wasn’t over crowded and noisy which allowed us to enjoy our meal and company.
The smoked carrot soup was excellent and the entrees were wonderful with excellent service
Perfect place to go before theatre events! Close but far enough to not have the horrible wait associated with adjacent restaurants. Love the ambience, food taste and presentation and excellent service!
We were in town for the KISS concert, stayed at the hotel & chose to eat here out of sheer convenience. We were so pleased we did! Everything that came to the table was delicious! The best thing on the menu was the Chicken & Waffles. It’s not your traditional chicken & waffle, it’s a must try for sure. They serve a snack size portion for dinner, which was perfect in size for me with a drink & dessert. I liked it so much, my kids & I had it for breakfast! The breakfast portion is much larger & very satisfying. Service was great too!
Excellent overall. Galarie is located one level up from the hotel lobby and the ambience is quiet yet energetic. I went with a group of 4 and everyone was thrilled with their meal; drinks were good; and service was excellent. It was a rainy night but we were able to walk from the restaurant through the hotel and parking garage to the arena for a CBJ game with only minimal time outside
It was the perfect first date spot on Valentine’s Day! Travis, Tim and Josh always makes my visit special. Thank you guys :)
Both the food and the service were outstanding! We dine there often and are always delighted!! The manager, Tim, is truly a great bloke, and our server, Miguel, was fabulous with a fun sense of humour..let’s just say that between the two of them, we had ian exceptional experience!
Always count of excellent food & service!
Service was exceptionally slow (over an hour for our food to arrive) and the staff wasn’t the least bit apologetic about the delay.
Majority of food had excellent taste but unfortunately was served cold. Took approximately one and one half hours to get the food from time we sat down. We had a reservation and restaurant was not busy at all, practically empty. Once food arrived I felt rushed to eat in order to attend event and we could not really enjoy our meal.
A night before the concert at Nationwide Arena
Well the other downside is parking I had to pay $12.
Food was not good, what I assume was the manager stopped by to ask how things were. I told him the salmon was not good, it was very fishy, he had no response - also nothing off the VERY expensive bill.
Of note, the chorizo-tofu soup was wonderful.
Fabulous food! Locally sourced ingredients really shine here!
Every December, a group of us go out for a wonderful dinner before going to Joy for the big start to to our Christmas season. This year, after reading that the Gallerie Bistro was solid competition to the other amazing restaurant choices, we decided to go... reviews of the chef highlighted the amazing things he is doing with a "hotel" restaurant. I have never written a yelp review and our expectations were high...not unreasonable...and all of our meals were seriously less than average. 2 of us had the risotto...it had the consistency and color of a thick pea soup with little flavor. My husband had the salmon, it was done nicely but sat atop a mass of some thick, unidentifiable puree...it was like paste. My sister ordered the short ribs...be warned if you have a seafood allergy, your options are limited-which usually isn't a big deal because the food is good. The ribs were served cool and they were dry. The soup of the day was very good. The bistro salad had grains in it from not washing the greens. I hate that my first yelp review is so bad, but my husband and paid over $150 with a few drinks, and unfortunately, it was exactly what it is ...a hotel restaurant with unimpressive food. We had heard great things, and maybe it was a slow Saturday night and the kitchen didn't much care what went to the table, but with so many other options in the Short North...I would not recommend this. Sorry Chef Glover, I really was excited for your spin on hotel restaurants, but if this is what is being served every night, it wont compete with other places. If Saturday night diners are not given the opportunity to taste what you prepare other nights of the week, then that is truly disappointing.
Anna was our waitress and she did an excellent job
I made reservations at Gallerie as it was close to a show we were going to see - and it was added Open Table points. The food was good, service very good and attentive, but my party didn't think much of it. They had typical dishes and said for a Hotel restaurant, they had had better elsewhere. I had the steak and although cooked to my preference (med rare), it was room temp - although still very tender and tasty. Based on my party's comments, I will probably not go back. Just not for us
We had been to this restaurant last year for dinner enjoyed it very much. The menu has changed, and the food is less inventive but all right. I ordered a cocktail and the stem of the glass was sticky. The cocktail itself was overly sweet and just adequate. Service was very slow and distracted. We were seated at the side gallery which was very dark. If you go, ask to sit in the main room. This restaurant is good for conversation.
Very nice food in a hotel atrium environment.
We had a brunch reservation here and were at first annoyed by the $28 valet fee. So we found a space on the street several blocks away only to be later informed that they would have provided us with a voucher for the valet fee. But the Gallerie Bistro should advertise this fact up front. Of course people will drive away and look for on-street parking.
Brunch without toast? How odd! True there were bagels and small croissants and jam, but there was not a single piece of bread in the brunch buffet.
Do not order scrambled eggs or omelets; those eggs probably came pre-mixed in a container. You have to order poached or fried eggs to get real ones.
There were no towels or hand dryers in the women's rest room so I had to wipe my hands on a lot of toilet paper. Overall, I think this place is meant for a captive hotel audience and not for the Columbus citizen seeking to try a new brunch experience.
This was our first time at Gallerie and it was fabulous. Our server, Josh, was knowledgeable of the menu and drinks, and one of the food runners offered to bring us chips when we asked for a second serving of bresd, since they had ran out. I had the Ohio burger and fiance had the fried chicken sandwich. I loved my extra dirty martini with bleu cheese stuffed olives!
Incredible food. Great service
Wonderful food and wonderful service. Was thoroughly impressed with our entire dining experience here.
First off this website allows you to make reservations for brunch without the knowledge that the dining room closes at 12. Which was when we had our reservations for. and then the dining room was closed with a sign that says that you may have a seat in the bar, for food and beverage service. Why were we allowed to make these reservations for something wasn't even open?!
Amazing food! Amuse, small plates- 72 hr short rib and quinoa salad, main course - Rainbow Trout and Local Ribeye! Service was knowledgeable, quick and professional. The dining room is a gorgeous space and the bar is very fun and upbeat!
