Better than your average hotel lobby food. I'd go again if it were raining outside.
The host was rude, not accommodating at all. The service was insanely slow and the food was not good at all. Pasta was overcooked, salad had an obscene amount of jalapeño and we will not be going back.
Service was great, food was overpriced and ambiance was poor
Unfortunately, the restaurant was ready to keep up with Valentine's Day, the bar, and the hotel meals all at once. Our server was the highlight of our experience. It took way to long to receive our food & our drinks. The restaurant seemed short staffed, and almost every couple around us looked either angry, was speaking to the manager, or was on their phones from boredom. It isn't nice enough ambiance to keep people there and engaged. The food was supposed to be the highlight, and yet my filet and potatoes came out cold (but I didn't want to send it back scared I might not see it again), and the broccoli rabe was inedible....definitely should try a different, brighter side with that dish. The Hush Puppy dish was excellent.
We had a reservation for 8p and we were seated promptly at 8. The server was very nice and considerate. The kitchen on the other hand had some issues. It took nearly 90 minutes to receive our food and it was under cooked. I was polite with the server but was completely frustrated on the inside with the service, especially with the amount of money dinner cost. We were provided a glass of wine for our wait but that just wasnt enough.
We went for Valentines Day while staying at the Hilton, but were terribly disappointed. Our server kept disappearing. It took 30 mins to order our drinks, another 30 to get them and order dinner (they apologized), then an hour for our food, an another 30 mins to order desert. We got it to go, because 2-1/2 hours was all we could handle. It ruined the night. Sad. Other people got up and just left before even ordering. Please fix this restaurant, it could be so nice.
We had to wait more than 2 hours to get our food. The staff was apologetic but provided no rationale for the delay. The restaurant was NOT full either. I understand that things can get messed up in the kitchen but even the easy things (full water glasses) weren't happening. And it wasn't just our table; every table was waiting just as long.
Food took a while, but it was good. Server was friendly. Dessert was good
Our server didn’t show up after 20 minutes, the place was empty. We left.
The service was excellent. The restaurant was very pretty. The cheese flatbread was delicious. Chicken and waffles were pretty good, onion rings were odd tasting -- almost a burnt taste. The kitchen wasn't consistent. Tables that arrived after we did received their food before we did. Burgers and fries were VERY popular, despite a nice three-course Valentines Day menu. Our fries were cold, my burger was so overcooked, the cheese evaporated. HOWEVER, management and kitchen staff went above and beyond to compensate for the issues, within time constraints. We WILL definitely give them another try, so I can edit and change this review soon.
Front of house was very disorganized. Server forgot to take our main order. Had to flag him down well after we finished our appetizers. Plenty of staff were on the floor, walking by and neglecting us while taking care of the other tables. Pasta and Risotto entrees were average at best. I expected a lot more from this establishment with its locally based chefs and it misfired from start to finish. Very disappointed.
Absolutely fantastic! Food, staff, ambience... it was a perfect place for a date night that also happen to be our anniversary. Highly recommend
The atmosphere was beautiful, the staff was very friendly, but that’s about where the good ends. Or tacos appetizer was quite good, but main courses were just okay, dessert was mediocre at best. One app, two dinners, one dessert and three glasses of wine were $150!!! It has such promise but just didn’t deliver on the value. I probably won’t be back.
Service & food was outstanding! Waiter went out of way to help us celebrate a birthday while the host gave special attention to our group as well. Quiet atmosphere made it a perfect dinner out.
Drinks and food took forever even though the restaurant was dead. Dishes were overpriced, tasteless and gross. Chicken was undercooked.
Good if you are looking for a nice quiet place to eat on a date.
Lovely setting. Menu rather limited. Portions were small for most entrees. Typical hotel restaurant. Other Short North restaurants likely better for a fun evening.
Only thing it’s slow slow
Hidden gem-food and service were exceptional. We didn’t know what to expect going in but both of our entree’s far exceeded expectations and the service was great.
Great food better service
First time here for dinner - we love their brunch & it did not disappoint! Our servers were quick to our table with water & to tell us about the specials & answer our questions about the menu. Our drinks came out quickly followed by a focaccia bread with an herb infused dipping sauce that was lovely. We did not feel rushed at all and our meal was relaxing. We ordered their strip special on a bed of broccolini with jalapeño cornbread & a bone marrow reduction - it truly melted in your mouth. Nick cooked our steaks to perfection they came out rested & perfect. Just when you thought it could not get better we tried a trio of their desserts & they were as good as they looked. So creative - the carrot cake mousse was incredible, the tropical tart was so good! We will be back! Perfect meal top to bottom! Thank you!!
Great service, food was good but also it felt like I hotel restaurant. The ambiance was lovely.
I LOVE this restaurant! The chef is always so kind to special order our favorite appetizer (foie gras) when it's not on the menu at that moment. We go to the Gallerie for all of our special occasions, and every summer, when friends visit, we take them to this restaurant. The bar area of this restaurant is nice, too, and they have a great Happy Hour. Their cheese puffs are to die for. They also have a wonderful brunch for Mother's Day and other holidays. I definitely recommend the Gallerie Bar & Bistro!
I had the Salmon. It was good, but not great for the price. Our waitress was nice, but didn’t seem very experienced. Towards the end the wait for service for dessert a the check was extremely long, to the point that we thought she had left,
Very convenient location, good food and great service. Atmosphere was pleasant too. I would not have expected such a great experience at a hotel restaurant.
Staff was amazing. Warm and friendly.
Food was tasty but portions were on the small side.
Food was served after 1 hour 30 minutes and it was cold. Meat temperature was incorrect.
Best food in Columbus by far!!
There was apparently a crisis in the kitchen. We were served our water and eventually some bread, and told that the kitchen was running 40 minutes behind. After and hour and a half, there was still no food, and no communication from the server or the manager. We gave up and left.
It was a very nice time. The service was outstanding, and everyone was extremely friendly!
Joe was a delight and my guest and I both enjoyed the Chorizo Sweet Potato Hash! Thank you!
Hannah and Heidi did an AMAZING job taking care of us! I think they probably could have used a little help for a group our size but, they managed us fantastically. The food was excellent. The drink specials were super fun and delicious. Our whole party was so impressed with how well we were accommodated. We definitely want to do again next year!! Thank you so much!
Our server Joshua was exceptional. Even the hostess was pleasant and went above and beyond. The breakfast/brunch buffet is certainly above average and includes standard, non-alcoholic beverages. It was incredibly busy and the staff was spread thin but they remained professional and polite. We will definitely be back for the omelettes and smoked salmon. Also, don’t miss the croissants.
Everything was delicious from start to finish, and the service was also wonderful. Always love visiting Gallerie! The only down side was that they no longer validate parking and apparently also no longer have HH. I've definitely done both in the past but guess it had been too long since I've been!
The Ohio Burger was great. The fried chicken sandwich was not good. It was over cooked and over breaded. The fries was over cooked and tasted hard.
Went here for dinner for a bachelorette party after the initial restaurant booked by a friend flaked on us. We were not disappointed, because this place was great! The ambiance and artwork were all gorgeous, service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Everyone loved their food and cocktails, and it was great that they could accommodate a group of 10 of us on short notice. Would highly recommend for a special event, large group, or just a romantic dinner.
Everything was great from the moment we walked in. The pacing of the meal was on point. Service was great, never needed anything!
Food was amazing!
Overpriced. By a lot. Not worth it. Nothing special. Won’t be returning. Would need to have much more reasonable prices for what they are offering to consider going back.
