Gallagher's Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
We had dinner early and was seated promptly. The server was extremely attentive and we received our food relatively quickly. However, the prime rib was at best below average as it was nit seasoned very well. I have eaten at Gallagher’s previously and it has always been good. It just missed the mark this time.
My husband and I are frequent diners when traveling to Las Vegas. Gallagher’s Steakhouse has really disappointed us after our last visit. The filet mignon was ordered medium and arrived well-done. When we shared our displeasure with the waiter he quickly ordered another steak for us. Unfortunately when the manager arrived at our table he lacked all levels of customer service skills. His first statement was “I am not obligated to come talk to you...”. I would expect more from a manager at a highly rated establishment. Without any further comments the manager left our table. After completing our meal the waiter did notify us of a credit towards our bill for the steak. The point is not about the credit, it is about the poor quality service provided by the manager that night. Perhaps a refresher in high quality service is necessary to avoid future displeased customers, especially those who are loyal.
Great food but the serving sizes are too big. We all left uneaten food on our plates that went to waste. Since we were on vacation we could not take it with us. It would be great if they offered two serving sizes - especially for the filet and the crab legs.
Service was outstanding, food was amazing. We love this restaurant! We celebrated our anniversary here 15 years ago and on Saturday night we celebrated our sons 22nd birthday. Everything was perfect and they offer photos, which by the way look great, very professional! Can't wait to go back!
Food was great for the most part. It seemed like it was a little overpriced and I wasn't overly impressed with the restaurant itself. Atmosphere didn't match the idea of a fine dining restaurant. The cranberry bread was totally amazing, though. That in itself made everything else seem better!
This was the 6th or 7th time we have eaten at Gallagher's at New York, New York. It has always been exceptional. This most recent time, however, we experienced the slowest service in the meal delivery - around 30 minutes from ordering. Not a big deal as it was a busy night, but it was noticeable from past times.
This is my 'must go' restaurant whenever I come to Vegas. The wait staff are superb, the food is sublime, the atmosphere warm and inviting. I have sat in every section and there is not a bad spot in the house. I have recommended this restaurant to many people and have never had a bad come back! Go, enjoy!
Had a salad, their dry-aged New York Strip, and sticky toffee pudding, and unfortunately the steak was a let down. This was my first time trying a dry-aged steak, but taste wise and tenderness wise, it felt virtually identical to the steak I make at home, but with less seasoning.
Perhaps I was unlucky and got a "bad egg", but either way I can't say I would come back here in the future.
Nice place, with a great selection of steaks. Both ours were cooked to absolute perfection. We were eating late, and place was quiet. Service was very good. Maybe ambiance is not the best due to location in NYNY, ( ie gaming machines and hustle bustle outside); but that is to be expected in Vegas.
Yes, yes and yes I would totally eat here again. Everything was delicious. Even the COLD bread and very tasty unspreadable butter. And I like my bread warm. Anyways, the porterhouse was amazing and so were the greens beans and baked potato. I definitely recommend this place!
Our service was awesome as wait person was prompt and brought water refills without asking. The bacon and spinach salad is delicious. The salad is so tasty. The steaks are so so as not the best. I ordered filet mignon but it was too dry not moist and lacked flavor. It was a big hunk of meat that was hard to cut. In paying $49/person for filet, it was not worth the money. I prefer Ruth Chris or Mastro's steak much better.
