Gallagher's Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Great 26th anniversary dinner. Signature steak and filet were incredible. Great accompaniments complimented the meal. All of the waiting staff were excellent and helped the great meal even taste better. This steak house was on the list for a long time and we are certain we will be back. Thank you.
Loved everything about the experience. John was an excellent, friendly and helpful waiter. All waitstaff were attentive. Food was just the best. It has been some time since I dined at Gallagher’s in New York; this experience was equal or better. Memorable meal.
We had dinner here with friends. Service was great and drinks and wine good but very disappointed with the food. I had filet and lobster and beef was tough and a little over done and lobster was tasteless so for the price would not eat here again. No one in our party of 4 was blown away by their meal.
Gallaghers is a must every time we come to Vegas. They have the best cowboy ribeye you've ever tasted. We travel all over the country and always compare the cowboy ribeye to Gallaghers, but we have not found one yet that beats it. Of course the staff are always outstanding and we always look forward to coming back.
It' a steak house in the center of a casino. The featured steak is a 16 oz bone in NY for $50. Sides were $10 each & the cork fee on the wine we brought with us was $25. I ordered the NY steak which was a little over cooked, dry & really not that tasty. My wife ordered king crab legs for $75 which were good & the waiter stripped the meat from the shell which was nice.
The place was pretty much packed for a Wednesday & really noisy. Our table was a little dinky one for 2 near the front that backed up to the main walk way for the wait staff & the hostess seating guests so people were passing behind me all night.
We travel often & I've eaten in several top 10 steak houses & this is definitely not one of them.
If you have the affinity for the past and a certain sentimentality for the early twentieth century to the 1940s, Gallagher’s can be that cozy space for you. Its quaint rustic ambiance of mostly old photographs matches its perfectly aged steaks. Ten years ago I had a fine dining experience with my then future wife, and our seventh wedding anniversary, Gallagher’s still continued to amaze...and that toffee pudding is to die for. It is a fitting end after mercilessly masticating on those aged bovine delights.
4 of us dined here on a Sunday night. We were seated in a nice booth after a brief delay. I ordered the cold seafood platter which included a huge shrimp, 1/2 a partial leg of crab and a small disc of what I think was lobster. A friend and I shared the 8 oz filet which was cooked perfectly. We all shared the aspargus (which only included 5 spears), a creamy potato with bacon and caramelized onions, and green beans. The only service hiccup was the table was not cleared of appetizer plates before the entrees were brought to the table. And used and empty glasses were never cleared. Also, the wine list by the glass really needs some attention. Many of the wines listed are the bargain basement wines one finds on their local grocery store lower shelves.
My father and I attended because we wanted to find a good spot for a steak while visiting Vegas from Boston. This was the closest between the Luxor and T-Mobile arena and was our selected spot for a nice postgame meal.
Great steaks, I had a huge prime rib and my father had the 8 oz. filet. He wished he had a 12 oz cut because he loved it and wanted more, whereas my prime rib was perfectly sized. Both were cooked immaculately and came with great au jus. Our server Brian was fantastic and especially attentive to our requests. I'd 100000% go back for a great steak, prices are what you'd expect for what you receive on the higher end, but highly recommended.
I've dined at Gallagher at least annually, and other than this visit, it's been fabulous.
This experience was for the most part disappointing. We were not asked about whether it was a special occasion, which it was.
We were seated in a side room where there were two large parties which made it difficult to carry on a conversation due to the noise level.
My husband's steak was completely under cooked and when the server returned it, it was nearly inedible. But, no one returned to ask him about it.
A nearly $300 bill, and nobody cared.
I will not be recommending it, and I have in the past.
Five of us went for dinner for my partner's birthday. We were all in agreement that it was a fantastic dining experience. From the service to the cocktails and meal, it was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant to all.
Four of us had steak. "Best steak I've ever had". I had the chicken. It was cooked perfectly and came with baby potatoes, carrots and green beans. Yummy. Cocktails were mixed perfectly.
Last time I was here was back in about 2010 or 2011. Went here before the Golden Knights (NHL) home opener for a decent meal instead of fast food at T Mobile. Much better than expected. Our filet mignons were nicely one medium rare, and the onion rings were excellent. My Caesar salad wasn’t the best but not bad. Dessert was good as well. Not 5 star but perfecty acceptable - good for us before seeing the hockey game next door.
