Gale's Restaurant is a totally local Pasadena spot for delicious Northern Italian fare, tucked away from the tourist chains in Old Town. Couples, families and friends that seem to have just finished a day outdoors snuggle among the brick walls and small marble tables, drinking cocktails and wine from elegant Brighton goblets. Start off with Bruschetta, Burrata Salad or Gale's Simple Salad and then move on to the country-style Tuscan steak or one of the house made ravioli specials. For dessert, don't miss the Tiramisu or Gale's iconic Coconut Cake. The wine list is a favorite among the guests for it's variety and excellent value.

Tables are seats are comfortably separated from other parties to make audible conversation possible. Food is great. Wine is good too! Service outshines all of these positives. One of my favorite places.

                                                                                      Food was excellent. Portobello ravioli in cream sauce and a crab & shrimp ravioli in a spicy tomato sauce. Would have walked away happy if not for one issue. Bit down on something hard. Turned out to be a small plastic bead of some kind. Gave it to the waiter who said he would show it to the chef. Nothing for it (not even a verbal apology. Nor an encouraging response.

                                                                                      This was my first time at Gale’s and it was beyond expectations. Service was superb. The food was excellent and presentation was perfect. The daily selections (specials) was an amazing list, especially in conjunction with the main menu. We will definitely book again in the future.

All of our servers were so helpful and attentive. Thank you so much for providing a great place to have lunch in Pasadena!
