Beware that your OpenTable reservation at Galaxy Restaurant (Circle L Steakhouse & The Wine Room) may find you at a high top table in the bar, that’s what happened with our reservation. We weren’t notified about this until we arrived at the restaurant. The hostess told me we would be at a high top in the bar area and asked if that was ok. I told her we hadn’t reserved a bar table and would prefer a regular dining table. She told me there were none available and that they were placing all online reservations in the bar. Maybe this was only due to it being New Year’s Eve, not sure but I’m unclear why this wouldn’t be communicated to at the time I made the reservation so I could have selected another time or a different restaurant. We had a drink and some apps. The traditional calamari and lobster bisque. The calamari was perfect and a generous portion, the bisque was lukewarm and not great. My wife had the fillet and added scallops with a baked potato and I had the salmon with broccoli, baked potato and a house salad. The food was all good and prepared as ordered.
Since we made the reservation on open table, they said we had to be seated at a high table in the bar.

Thanks for a great thanksgiving experience....NOT Upon arriving and being seated our server got us water and a beverage, got us the salad and rolls and disappeared. Exactly 30 minutes later he re-appeared to inform us they were having problems with the roast beef portion of the family style and it would be a bit longer but asked if we wanted the rest of the meal then or when it was completed, we asked that it come out at one time.... jump forward another 15 minutes, now 45 minutes in to our thanksgiving dinner when everything finally arrived, the roast beef was fresh however everything else was dried out, luke warm to cold and obviously had been sitting out for some time....how does that happen? No excuse for this when nothing is being made to order.
Unsurprisingly we left, it might have been nice if our server would have stopped by the table to refill water or beverages during that 45 minutes.....
I've been looking forward to coming to the Galaxy for a long time......what a waste of time.
Oh and by the way, the frozen pizza and a few cookies we had for thanksgiving dinner was wonderful!!!

We had a fantastic waiter named Zachary. They were busy, but still provided prompt service. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommended The Galaxy.
We enjoyed the food, the service & the beautiful surroundings.
Food was delicious. Wines a bit overpriced, especially for wines by the glass. Steaks are AMAZING. Acoustics of room were not great, especially when there were several large parties in there. Waitress seemed to be the only server in there and she was as attentive as she could be despite having 5+ tables.
However, we went for a steak dinner & that was fantastic. Overall a very good meal!

Service was really tough. Made a big deal about having out of state ids to drink a single glass of wine, messed up our order, and for a place that was empty, took awhile to get our bill back.

The service was great, fabulous wine selection. We both had Ribeyes, they were cooked perfectly, very flavorful and attractive. Desert was yummy. Loved it!

Great spot. Haven’t been here in years. Our group was very pleased. Perfect experience and great service.
We really enjoy the Galaxy in all their dining rooms. This time we were disappointed in the food preparation. Despite ordering our steak medium rare they came out med to med well. The meat was dry by then from being overcooked. The taste was very good as usual, just not prepared correctly. We did not complain, but should have and did eat most of our meal.

The service was very well done with an attentive and charming waitress. The food was delicious and the seating in the restaurant was nicely spread out to allow for social distancing.
My only concern was the bar which was open and had no distancing at all.

The Wine Room was absolutely beautiful, and the food was outstanding. Our server was so pleasant and attentive, giving us an overall wonderful experience.
Food took a long time and came out cold. The table we sat at had a draft from a vent.
Calamari was very good, cooked perfectly. Steaks were a bit overseasoned and my wedge salad had way, way too much bleu cheese, basically inedible. Overall, somewhat mixed review on the food. Was a bit loud in there as well.
Winter formal
The pasta was cold again, so was the cabbage rolls.
Waitress was nice and attentive, but still failed to deliver what was ordered correctly; did not offer cracked pepper for our meal when other waitresses did. They struggled with how to apply the Open Table awed finds; took over 10 minutes before that could figure it out.
Appetizer was very good, large portion, great wine list, great romantic table location.
We were celebrating a major relocation to Florida with close friends. The meals were wonderful. The Wine Room has the best atmosphere around. It's quiet and beautiful and we got to sit next to the fireplace. It was great!
I was very surprised by the cost per proportion size. I had the Swordfish and Brussel Sprouts for $25.00. I would have thought it should have come with a starch or a salad. The swordfish was overcooked and I was still hungry when I was done eating.
We have been there many times, but this trip was disappointing.
We hadn’t been to this restaurant before so we were excited to try it. Very disappointed with the service. We were there for 2 hours. The drinks and food to a long time to be served. The booth next to us came in after we did and were done sooner. My steak was overdone and dry. On a positive note my husband thought his dinner was excellent. The manager came over to ask us how we were enjoying our meals. When we stated the issues he said sorry but that was all.
Food was ok. Arrived early (5pm) to find our server had a large table so our service was slow. The remainder of the evening, our service was at the mercy of this large table. Ordered blackened salmon which was very close to being overcooked.
First of all kudos to our server Kayla/Cayla sp? She was fantastic from the moment that we were seated. Funny and friendly ! My husband and I were seated in this little table that was like in a small grotto. It was great for conversation, we felt like we were in our own restaurant. The food was superb. This is our third time at Circle L and we have yet to be disappointed. Keep up the good work and we will keep returning , with friends !

It was our first Valentine’s Day together, I wanted to take her somewhere different, but still upscale and be able to dress up a bit. One of the best steaks I have had! Also the lobster ravioli was also great! I highly recommend Galaxy to everyone!
Great atmosphere for Valentines day. Food was excellent. I did call for reservations and was told there were none available. That was around 7pm. I went online and made a reservation for 9pm. Got there at 8:45 and was seated right away.
