Gaetano's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Greets: We were greeted immediately and sat at our table.
Beats: I don't recall the music, but it was loud in the restaurant. A lot of people were celebrating the holidays so there were many conversations.
Eats: We enjoyed glassesof wine, the stuffed artichokes and calamari. We had table bread too. Our main courses were delicious. Two people ordered the short rib pasta, one scallop dish, and a pasta dish.
Treats: We were too full for dessert. There were several that I wanted to try, but it can be next time.
Cheats: Park by Burke Williams. The restaurant is located below. There is outdoor seating, but it was full. The wine shop next door used to not care a corkage fee. I am not sure about now. There is a tasting menu on Thursday nights.
This is a go-to place when we are in the area. The service is always good--the food is good-and we always walk away satisfied. This last time the noise level was VERY annoying and we have decided that if the weather is good that next time we will go outside. Otherwise would highly recommend. Prices are very good too.
We had a really great dinner. We took advantage of Happy Hour and ordered two appetizers and then shared a salad and the main course. There was so much food we ended up taking a portion home, enough for lunch. Our waitress, Debbie, was wonderful. She totally made the evening, she was energetic, funny and so much fun! The weather was perfect for sitting on the beautiful patio and enjoying the delicious food!
We enjoyed a dinner with friends on Saturday. We opted to sit inside due to one of our party's preference, but the outdoor patio was very inviting. We appreciated some reasonably price wine offerings along with the delicious hot bread while we chatted prior to ordering our meals. Our waiter was courteous and patient and did not rush us. The food was tasty and there was plenty left to take home for lunch - and the strawberry shortcake was delicious! All in all a very nice evening.
This was our first visit and we had a great time. They have a nice selection of menu items that will please any meat, seafood, or veggie lover. The service was perfectly paced for us and very attentive. Our main course pasta dishes tasted homemade with fresh ingredients. Just a so-so Caesar (the dressing lacked flavor) but that won't stop us from returning. We were too full for dessert. Make a reservation - Friday night was packed.
Excellent authentic Italian food. We have been here many times and it is always stellar. Staff is friendly and generally efficient. They recently started a "girls night out" feature on Monday evenings, with smaller entrees and lower prices. We saw several groups - one near us was Grandma, Mom and daughter. Several other 20 or 30 somethings groups as well. My linguini with clams in white sauces was excellent. My wife got the girls night out entrée of eggplant parm, and loved it. Said the size was perfect, too. We highly recommend this as a fine locals hang out and spot for Italian food!
I had the tagliatelle wth Chianti short ribs and it eas awful. The pasta was over cooked and mushy and the sauce tasted like tomato soup rather than Chianti sauce. The garlic bread was extremely greasy and under cooked. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
