Gaetano's is always the best place to go with family and friends... Great Food and excellent service!
Very mediocre food and service. Not much atmosphere. Overpriced for the fare.
Truly amazing, authentic Italian food! Great service and ambiance.
Good classic Italian dishes! Our server was great and the place had a great vibe.
Loves Katie!! She was great!! Loved the food and most of all the ambiance of the restaurant!!! The history was cool too. So glad we stumbled upon this lovely place.
Food exceeded expectations and although it was crowded our table was ready at the exact time selected through Open Table.
The staff was ingaging and friendly. The food was fabulous and the history of the restaurant was an added attraction.
We had an excellent meal and table. The server didn't bring bread until we asked for it, then he did bring bread, but didn't bring any oil until we asked again. He also did not ever re-fill water. SO SUPER food and atmosphere, but service slightly lacking- over busy lunch hour
One of the oldest restaurants in Denver. Italian food. David was a great waiter. And, they have a great happy hour!
That place was hoppin'! Our food was delicious, the service was a little slow because they were so busy but with girlfriends enjoying one another's company we didn't mind it.
The food was good but they don’t have any air conditioning. It was over 80 degrees in there!
The bread part of the appetizer was raw; Caesar salad took *very* long time to arrive and the dressing was not well stirred in (in clumps); one entree was not what was ordered but ate it anyway because I just wanted to get the hell out of there ASAP.
Definitely the best Italian food we’ve had in Denver, and awesome drinks too. We’ll definitely be back!
We enjoyed our lunch at Gaetano's. Good food, friendly service, parking available. We weren't rushed to clear the table for other customers. The history of the place is very interesting.
Best Italian. Period.
Nice menu well presented.
Always amazing! Erin was our waitress and she was the best!! Brought 3 people for the first time and they loved every minute. Thank you for always exceeding our expectations
Everything is always delicious and moderately priced. Great atmosphere for couples and small groups. Would not recommend for children.
Fast and friendly service in a truly old-school atmosphere. Food was outstanding and we’ll definitely be making this a regular dining stop.
Comfy neighborhood restaurant with classic old-school Italian cooking. Good wine list, affordable.
Orders for 2 people were combined onto one plate. Food only so so. Extremely loud.
There was one table which was a large party when we arrived. We were seated and then waited probably 15 minutes before anyone brought us water, menus, etc. They told us the kitchen was backed up, and that we would probably have a wait for our food. We tried the bloody-mary bar, but several items were out. The servers were trying hard to catch up, and were polite and tried to be attentive; it just wasn't all the rage we have heard about Gaetano's, but we have heard such good things, we would like to try them again~
Had a decent wait time past our reservation, but hostess kept checking on us and updating us. Amazing food and great atmosphere! Highly recommend!
If you are looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place to be. My wife and I were very impressed with the food. We have had Italian all over the United States and this place ranks in our top 3. Our Server was very friendly but we believe he did not allocate his time efficiently with all of his tables. He was very courteous very friendly and made wonderful recommendations. If you are looking for a romantic dinner and do not feel like dressing to the nines, this is the place to go.
Had a wonderful evening celebrating my Birthday!! Everyone at the restaurant was so nice and accommodating!! Can't wait to go back!
What makes this place great is Derek Evilsizor; what an awesome entertainer. If you lose him you lose your edge as an excellent restaurant.
The food was delicious as always. Never disappoints!
Smaller portions than I was expecting but otherwise excellent!
The two times we have eaten here the temperature in building is way too warm! Need more air flow or air conditioning. We were miserable trying to eat.
Had reservations for 7:15, but weren’t sat until 7:45. The service was pretty slow. Food was pretty good though.
The server was very knowledgeable and helpful when picking items. We went for Mother’s Day and my mom had the best lasagna she’s ever had!
Great food, quick service. Definitely will be going back again and again!!
We had an excellent waitress named Erin, I believe. Our appetizer and main courses were very good, but the beet salad was not okay...beets okay, but very wilted lettuce...yuck! They need to fix their hosting set up...one long line for everyone...reservations or not. The young male host was very nice, but overwhelmed. Open Table contacted us, saying we hadn’t honored our reservation.
Best Italian food there is totally worth it will more than definitely be going back
Great service and good food. Restaurant has a lot of mob history
Wanted to take my godson to an authentic Italian restaurant while he was in Denver. I read the reviews for Gaetano's and hoped for the best. As soon as we arrived, I knew I picked the right place. It was busy for a Monday evening ( must be good ). The atmosphere was definitely Italian. We had reservations and were immediately seated. The hostess apologized for not being able to seat us at a booth - I was impressed that they actually read the comments/requests when I made the reservation on OpenTable. Once seated, we were immediately taken care of by our waitress. We were pleased to find out that Monday was all day happy hour - so we took advantage of the drink and appetizer specials. The main menu was extensive, but I took the advice of our waitress and ordered the home made Gnocchi. My godson was excited to try the peppers and sausage over cavatelli and we both had side ceasar salads. There was very little wait before the salads and the entrees were served. The servings were generous - and WOW on delicious. We finished off the evening with cappuccino and a large serving of terramissu. I took some of my Gnocchi home which my wife had for lunch the next day. Guess where we are going for dinner the next time out. I've been looking for that "go to" place in the Denver area since we moved here three years ago - With a quick drive from Broomfield, the ease of parking and the great food and service, I believe i have finally found it.
Tonight the food and service weren't nearly as good as usual. Hopefully this was an "off" night and next time will be back to the excellent food and service that we are used to at Gaetano's.
Excellent food excellent service! We also really enjoyed hearing about the history of the restaurant.
Spent comfortable and fun two hours dining, drinking, talking and laughing. Great place for special occasions. Too pricy to be a regular customer.
Everything was amazing!! We will definitely be coming back.
