Excellent restaurant with beautiful original artwork and decor. Cannot ask for a better ambiance. One of the best i have seen. The food was excellent as well. We have the Carte Blanche meal. It was very well done. We did not do the wine paring, but the restaurant had a couple of excellent recommendations for our meal. I would highly recommend and will go back the next time I am in New York. I am from California and we have our share of very good to excellent restaurants as well! Do it, you will have not regrets!
Amazing meal and impeccable service. Dessert was over the top.
Excellent service, better food. Hope to return some time soon.
If we didn’t have to leave to catch our bus,
I think they would still be bringing out even more spectacular courses of amazing dishes.
It was a spectacular feast for sure!!
A very memorable evening. The Carte Blanche tasting menu was full of surprises and highlights that we will remember dearly. Inventive Alsatian cooking that was neither heavy not stuffy. Service, as always, was attentive and personable. We even got a tour of the kitchen by one of the sommeliers at the end. This was a special treat, but we'll definitely be back!
Their food was simply amazing, and their staff who served my meal were all good-looking and kind, and of course, very professional. I liked they use some local ingredients from places like Long Island and Pennsylvania. I’d definitely recommend Gabriel Kreuther to my friends who are planning for some special occasion.
It's a Michelin two-star restaurant. Of course the food is great. Even I rhubarb dessert I wasn't expecting to like was delicious. The staff made the meal. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. And Philippe the wine director was a great help making selections from an exceptional wine list.
Amazing food. Pure perfection and harmony. Try the six or nine course tasting menu. The chef prepares different, individual dishes for each person at the table. The waiters and the the sommelier show real interest in your demands and wishes. You are not part of a slick, mechanical routine like in other gourmet restaurants but always treated personally and individually.
Outstanding and memorable. Food and service was perfect. Attention to detail was above and beyond. Thank you for taking our food restriction into consideration.
The food: Some good, some bad, some to forget, but always pretentious.
The service: Too brisk, too nervous. Correct but always on the verge of breaking down.
Overall: We have visited all over the world many two and three stars Michelin restaurants.
This particular one – although may have a future – is not yet a two star.
Creative and light food. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful meal and dining experience at Gabriel Kreuther last night. It starts with the food. The 6 course chef's menu, preparation and presentation were sublime. The wine pairings were inspiring, and the service was fluid, flawless really. "The cherry on top", the chocolates presented on our way out! It all adds up to a delicious whole that was even greater than the sum of its parts. Bravo
Certainly a good restaurant that masters technique and service, but not at the level it is requiered in Europe to be awarded two Michelin stars.
Fabulous from start to finish. Staff was warm and welcoming from the minute we entered through dinner to our exit. Food was beautiful and delicious and the room is gorgeous. This is very special place.
Very good experience with food and basically a comfortable place.
Perfect place. Excellent good , stuffs are very very nice . Elegant decors
Excellent Service, the food excepcional!!! EVerything is great you’ll never be wrong situado Gabriel !!!
From the moment we entered the restaurant the experience was terrific. Wonderful food and fantastic staff. Thank you for such a great time mad I won’t hesitate to return upon my next visit to NYC
Very enjoyable. Excellent service. Wonderful food. Great wine pairing.
Everything was sublime. The food delicious, the service impeccable, the atmosphere delightful, the bill...worth it.
Superb, creative cuisine; attentive, excellent service; wonderful wine list.
The white asparagus dish was inventive, delicious, and the presentation beautiful.
My favorite NY restaurant overall.
Just amazing service, food, and wine - Phillippe and his staff have so much charm and positive energy, we go out to fancy restaurants a lot... they’re great, but this one has a “je ne sais quoi” to it.
We were celebrating my sister’s birthday and the restaurant went above and beyond to make the evening memorable and special. We had an excellent meal overall and the sturgeon and sauerkraut tart was our favorite dish.
An incredible pre-theater 4 course meal with the best service I’ve ever experienced in a New York restaurant.
Incredible experience all around. Went for our anniversary and were treated like royalty. We were seated at a table in a window nook, away from all others. The table had a nice note congratulating us on the special occasion. We started with the Ossetra special and champagne then went with the four course menu, including the halibut and foie gras napoleon, the foie gras terrine, the white asparagus, the black sea bass, the trout and a trio of desserts, including one on the house to celebrate the occasion. All were off the charts good. The service was also very attentive, yet not overbearing, and the wait staff made sure we would not be late for the theater. As the play afterwards was actually not good, in retrospect, I would have been happier lingering longer over each course as an hour and a half felt a bit rushed.
Superb on every level. Stunning space Professional and gracious service and outstanding food and presentation !
the best. simply. .
Truly wonderful experience. Will come back on our next visit to nyc!
Our dinner at Gabriel Kreuther was an extraordinary experience because it was perfect. Impeccable service. Stunning interior and design. Attention to every detail in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Mesmerizing courses with superb wine pairings presented in beautiful coherent cadences of rhythm and harmony. Just Perfection.
Creative dishes and an attentive staff. I loved the architecture, also.
it was amazing experience and staff are attentive to our needs
Exquisite bespoke experience from the food to the atmosphere to the service. I highly recommend it. We had the six course with wine pairing and loved that we did not always have the same courses so could also taste what the other had. Outstanding experience.
We were expecting more from a 2* Michelin. No wow effect - foie gras, aspagarus, Angus beef, chocolate cakes. We have seen such dishes in a some good French brasserie. The little twist which was made did not meet our expectations, and the plates remained unfinished which never happened to us before. Disappointed.
Treated ourselves to the chef's 6 course tasting menu with premier wine pairings and were very impressed. The atmosphere was cozy yet lively and fresh, the service was attentive but never overbearing and the food and wine pairings were absolutely perfect! The staff were outgoing and added to the enjoyment of the food/wine pairings and we were so pleased with the rare wines we were able to try. I would highly recommend this restaurant for an evening of incredible food and excellent wines.
Excellent service. Food good but not worthy of the hype.
First time to try this two Michelin stars place. Food is good but not as refined as you would expect from two stars, too much bread between courses. Service is great. Overall not worth the money.
Wonderful place with fantastic food! Excellent Service and sweet gifts after dinner. I spend a unforgettable time with my mom.
We went for lunch because my boyfriend has always wanted to go to a Michelin starred restaurant. The staff was incredibly nice and gave excellent recommendations on cocktails and ordering. The food was incredible-from the starter bread, to the amouse-bouches inbetween courses, nothing disappointed! Maybe the best part is the Manager took us on a tour of the kitchen and we were able to get a photo with the team who prepared the meal. Definitely an incredible experience that my foodie BF will never forget!
Outstanding experience. Every course was delicious, beautifully prepared, and elegantly served.
Chef is a true master. There are perhaps only two restaurants in New York City that can aspire to the high standards upheld by Gabriel Kreuther.
It is unfailingly perfect in my estimation—diners are treated with a courtesy now very rare in most establishments. The menu and the execution of same are exquisite.
