Wow. We went to DK after seeing Hamilton to celebrate both my wife’s and my son’s birthdays.

What a truly fabulous experience. The food was amazing, the staff attentive and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

Luis even gave us a tour of the kitchen. What a treat.

Wow! Everything was exceptional! We called ahead to have sparking wine available for a 50th birthday toast. When we arrived, there were glasses and a card on the table and the sparking wine was chilling next to the table.
The food and service was beyond spectacular! We had the somolier recommend a bottle of red wine, which of course was outstanding as well.
Thanks for a wonderful evening!

What an experience - and that’s what it is, not just a meal! Phenomenal food, great service, beautiful atmosphere! It’s a prix fix menu (but with options) and is pretty expensive ($150-200/person, plus wine), but it was great! Plan enough time if you’re going to a show - 2 hours is best.

This was my first visit to Gabriel Kreuther. I have to admit that there are times when I dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant and think, "what did I just pay for"? The dining experience was incredible from beginning to end. We were theatre-goers that evening so had the prix-fixe menu. We started out with crafted coktails which everyone unifornmly enjoyed. I had the Resistance (two actually) which is a tequila based cocktail with pineapple, lime and chili. Delicious and creative! Our group explored the menu and shared tastes. I had the foie gras terrine with marcona almonds. Perhaps one of the best appetizers I have ever consumed. My party also had the sturgeon tart and the red wine risotto, both were equally delicious. For mains we had the black bass, beef tenderloin and pork tenderloin and all were perfect. We were running late for the show so the restaurant invited us back later for our dessert so that we would not be rushed. We were so happy we went back to complete this perfect meal. This is just one small example of the courteous and thoughtful service provided by this amazing restaurant. Furthermore, one of ouf party was running late due to a train fiasco and they never blinked or rushed us. Old cliches are sometimes accurate: you go the first time for the food and return for the service. We will go back many times in the future. My only question is when that second Michelin star will come? Gabriel Kreuther has certainly earned it.

Our experience was excellent in every way, The staff especially our waiter were friendly and helpful when
it came to menu selection and your amazing unusual cocktails.
I left my credit card and your receptionist not only called immediately but offered to meet me half way
so that I would not miss my train in Grand Central...Please thank her again for me.

All we can say is WOW! We were seated in the kitchen for the 9 course meal. EVERY course was varied, beautifully prepared, and delicious! Most courses used locally sourced ingredients, but made in ways we could NEVER do at home. The wine pairing were also a must. While this was nearly three hours, it breezed by with your senses constantly engaged with the food and wine, while feeling the energy of the chefs preparing their dishes just steps away. By the end of the meal, we were so full that it was hard to eat the one last candy for dessert -- but we did. If you are a foody, this place is a must!

Just finished an absolutely phenomenal dining experience. We are veteran patrons and have NEVER been disappointed. The food is creative and consistently outstanding. The service is always attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The staff could not be more professional, yet the atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming - not at all stuffy as in some other fine dining establishments. Multiple stars deserved here.

Perfection. From the reservation confirmation to the presence of gluten free bread for the gluten free diner (without a reminder) to the explanation of the dishes to the intricate and complex flavors, this was the best dining experience I have ever had.

Lucky to have this restaurant near us. In the Grace Building opposite Bryant Park. The rooms decor is beautiful. Beautiful floral arrangements. Service is friendly and professional. The food is delicious. We love the flavor profiles of all the seafood dishes. The entire experience was memorable. Will certainly return.

Unfortunately the food was uninspiring especially for the very high price tag. The waitstaff was kind but much too slow. We could not wait to leave.

GK is an exceptional restuarant and one of the very best in the world in my opinion. The food is inventive, fresh and beautifully prepared and presented while the service is low-key and ultra-polished. I think the pri-fix is a bargain when compared to per se in NY or Arpege in Paris. Also, the wines by the glass are just lovely. GK is a NY treasure, thank you GK for being you!

I enjoyed my experience at the restaurant and while the service wasn't bad (everyone was polite, responsive, etc. that you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber), it was off in a few ways. We ordered the six course menu with wine pairings. We only received two of the six courses in the first hour after we ordered. The food is all fairly small portions so I was starving. Oddly, they brought the wine pairings about 10/15 minutes before they brought the actual food so if you were drinking it regularly it was gone or close to gone before the food arrived. Fortunately, after asking them to speed up the service, they were responsive. Nonetheless, the dinner still took over 3 hours in all. I would still suggest the experience to my friends. Some of the food was really great.

Food was very good overall, nice flavors, very good cooking going on here. Wine pairing was so so, felt like some of the pairings could've been more successful. Lots of little extras which were nice touches throughout the meal, you can definitely see that their trying to chase some stars here. However, service felt a tad bit rushed, mostly because our bussers and service team were hovering near our table. As soon as 1 plate was finished, boom it was gone. No sooner than a few seconds went by before it was whisked away. Even when my wife or I we're still eating our course. So it went for the rest of our meal. Even when we signed the bill it was picked up before we even left the table. We were in no rush to leave quickly by the way, nothing waiting for us and the service team was definitely aware of this fact. There was a strong suggestive aspect to our experience about upselling. No problem there you have to try and see who's interested right? Only still or sparkling water was offered to us but we saw some of the service team pouring regular tap water to other tables (NY tap water is genuinely good, up against what we were poured I can see no discernable difference) Not a big deal but you get charged for something because you're only told of 2 options, that felt like it was a bit of a con job on our server's part. We've been fortunate enough to dine at some of the top restaurants in NY over a long period of time so we do have some perspective on this. Never have I been made to feel like I wasn't spending enough money at a restaurant. If your going to spend this much on a meal for two than you should be pretty happy with the outcome. Service wasn't really that genuine on all fronts and it really should be a seamless experience. I love Gabriel kreuther's food and have enjoyed it for many years. I wish for nothing but success for the team but there's still some work to be done.

In a week of dining in the city, this restaurant was the one that stood out with absolute excellence in every area. The attention and level of friendliness of the staff were beyond any other, and the food - each of the four courses - was exquisite both in presentation and in taste. I will never return to NYC without a night at Gabriel Kreuther; and it's likely that if Gabriel Kreuther leaves, I just won't return to the city. Magnifico.

I like everything about it. The only thing was that the server suggested we would have caviar, truffles or Champagne. All these items are on the menu. If we had wanted them, we would have ordered them.
The food presentation is stunning. The flavors amazing. The service was impeccable. Love that place!

Had lunch with a colleague. I had the fois gras pate rolled in pistachios--a luscious appetizer, followed by the rainbow trout with champagne sauce. The main course was a complete knockout! As when I ate there in early May, the amuse bouche and the breads were creative and delicious. A glass of German Riesling complemented the meal and was "light " enough to allow full participation at the meeting that began after lunch. Gabriel Kreuther remains at the top of my NYC list.

My husband and I went there for pre theater dinner. We typically find the best restaurant with the most convenient location for pre theater leaving truly fine dining for separate events. But GK provided an extraordinary experience and did it in a timely fashion , far quicker than restaurants of much lesser quality. Service was pleasant, informative, and efficient. Food was imaginative, delicious and truly memorable. Will happily return.
