First time at this highly recommended
Restaurant. Saturday date nite with my Honey
Everything was delicious
The Gaby's in the Orange Circle is cramped, LOUD & over priced. People hang out at the short & unaccommodating bar, in the way of the employees TRYING to serve other diners: management does nothing to control the standing room only individuals who also stand too close to the back 3 "table for two" seating which is right across from the bar! VERY RUDE. & trying to get to the bathrooms- you have to fight your way thru the kitchen pick up shelf & the waiters station.... terrible.
Difficult to find but worth the effort.
Food is delicious and our service was excellent , and a special thank you to our waiter Edgar. I suggest that you ask for him when you have the opportunity to dine here
This food was pretty good. You can tell everything is made with fresh ingerdients. A bit pricy for what you get, but it was good quality.
Great food and attentive service. Sat at table near the front by the entrance and the weather conditions made it a little uncomfortable.
Awesome food and great service! A definite must try place in Orange.
Had a great time! The cocktails are really good and the food tastes fresh and good quality and good service. The ambiance is always nice too!
We love Gabbi’s. The food and ambiance are wonderful. This visit the food was wonderful, but for the first time, our server was not up to par. He was not as friendly as all the other folks and forgot it was my husband’s birthday (we called to remind and placed notes on reservation)......
Had a reservation and were seated on time, service was great, food was delicious!
Great food and service. They were able to accommodate a special request by one of the members of our group, which was much appreciated.
As usual, we are never disappointed with the service or good.
Amazing place! The food and the staff are top notch at Gabby’s!
I am a regular at Gabbi's and take out if town guests there and business associates on a monthly basis.
Was billed as Easter brunch, so we were a little disappointed at lack of “brunch options,” but food was good. Service was pretty slow considering that when we arrived, only 2 other tables had people. Find it odd that their soft drinks come in little bottles so refills are not an option. We did get plenty of water, though.
Always spectacular flavors. Luckily I could try something new tonight as my date ordered something diff from my usual shrimp enchiladas. It was pork pibil, and we tried the al pastor gorditas! Those must be laced w/heaven and lard, simply to die for. Every bite was great mouthfeel and layers upon layers of flavor. She is brilliant, one day I’d like to meet or see her. Excited for her new one in Tustin w Yucatán flavors. Omg like Cancun. She should do another casual seafood one, Baja style down and dirty in LB or Cerritos. I tell everyone about this place
Simply delicious! Well worth the drive. We were a party of seven from Claremont, San Juan Capistrano, Fullerton, Moreno Vally, and New York!
Food was great , friendly waiters . Be sure to make reservations .
Wish they made side table guacamole. That way you can add as much heat as you want.
Great experience, fantastic food!
As always, the food was outstanding, the atmosphere relaxed. Our waiter was especially friendly and helpful. A good time was had by all.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Gabbi's. The food was exceptional. The ambiance was great. The waiter was attentive, but not overbearing. We stayed for a few hours and were never rushed to get through the meal. Definitely a very nice evening!
Delicious food and worth the price. I highly recommend the carne asada & bacon tacos!
Gabbi's is always one of my go-to's in Orange for celebrating special occasions, and it never disappoints. The food and drinks are always good and I always look forward to my next visit!
It’s our GoTo place for special occasions. Food is always great and service likewise.
The food at Gabbi’s is amazing. Our favorite item is the quesillo verde appetizer. The green salsa is fresh and spicy. The Puebla tacos are rich with bacon, sausage, and steak. The homemade flour and corn tortillas are the BEST. Service can be hit or miss. Our server was friendly and attentive.
Excellent restaurant with no name on the front. This is not your typical Mexican fare but the choices are very interesting and delicious! The duck carnitas tacos were tasty as were the pork carnitas. Churros are made to order. Service is very attentive. The ambiance is lively. A little pricey but well worth it.
Came here with family for a lunch and were promptly seated (had reservations). Ordered the shrimp tacos - got two huge tacos stuffed with spicy shrimp and veggies with a side of black beans that were a bit soupy. Hubby loved his pork tacos stuffed with spiced meat - both tacos could either be corn or flour tortillas which are handmade! Cousin enjoyed her gorditas- three small gorditas stuffed with BBQ pork that was so messy she needed three napkins, but she loved every bite!
I should start by saying i need to come to Gabbi's more often. The food is just too amazing. This time I got the chicken enchiladas and I loved it. Good complex flavors with a little heat. The only drawback is that its kinda pricey for everyday eating.
The locale and food are terrific. Definitely recommended! Drawbacks are the price of drinks and lack of bar / waiting space before seated at your table. Initial service was excellent, but I had to flag the waiter twice for water refills. Overall very very good, but somewhat overpriced.
From the hostess to the waiter to the food and the overall service everything was perfect.
Good food, good people, nice setting and not to packed together.
Thankyou for another fantastic dinner! Friends getting together from several cities and you were the best!
My husband and I come here regularly and were disappointed that the server we had complained about getting a 25% tip. My husband is also a server at a high-end restaurant, so he was baffled as to why this person would complain about not receiving more, when we tipped above average. We probably won't be coming back anytime soon because this was really annoying to go through especially while we celebrated a birthday.
We were in town for business but wanted a good local restaurant. Gabbi’s kitchen did not disappoint. It was fantastic!! We had tacos with sides of Brussels and yuca fries. I only would have skipped the guacamole if I went back-
No sign/marquee which was actually kinda cool to me. We had our table moved once which disrupted the meal flow a bit but the food was good so it wasn’t a big deal. I would go back.
My husband and I love this restaurant. Everything we have eaten is absolutely delicious. They also have great beer and cocktails. Perfect date night spot.
Our first time here it was Amazing! Service and food was amazing!
Good food and great service! Would go back more frequently if it wasn’t so pricey. Overall good though
