Lucky enough to get the table for 2 tucked in the corner of the upper level. Once a table of 4 ladies cleared out, it was nice and peaceful. My wife had the premium tasting menu and I the tile fish special. The tasting menu was a good deal at $50 (I ate probably 1/3 of my wife’s), but the tile fish (although perfectly prepared and tasty) was maybe overpriced by $3-4. Anyway, the service was excellent and by and large, the overall experience was top notch. MoreOpenTable Diner -

St. Louis, Missouri's inner-ring suburb of Clayton is known as not only the seat of St. Louis’s city government but also the spot for shopping, dining, and upscale hotels. A Taste of Clayton food festival is held here annually. Because “St. Louis’s second downtown” is a business hub, the dining atmosphere tends to be a hybrid of upscale and casual, with many restaurants that attract a business crowd. St. Louis barbecue is represented, along with burgers and Black Angus steaks. Visitors may be surprised to find many Italian influences along with a few bistros serving French-style food and more traditionally American pub food choices. The pedestrian-friendly neighborhood also offers sushi, vegetarian fare, and an espresso bar.
