Great meals at great prices
Selected for dinner prior to a show at the Curran, just a block away. Nice looking place, not fancy, nothing special. Prompt, friendly and competent service. Not an extensive menu but good choices. Prices a little on the high side relative to comparable places in Walnut Creek where we live, but I suspect that's partly due to all the SF mandated fees and taxes. We had salmon and seafood risotto, both very good. Could have been hotter, but acceptable temperature. Reasonable corkage ($15). Only "complaint" was the overly loud music, making conversation more difficult, especially since there is virtually nothing to absorb sound in the restaurant MoreOpenTable Diner -
Our favorite weekend hangout. Its dog friendly. Parking is free/easy. Clean and relaxing. Won ton soup is the best in SF bay area. Not authentic like the ones in Hong Kong. But its very very good ( Im from HK and I did try won ton all over the world). Its my must have at here. Papaya salad with shrimps and tofu skin are tasty. Wine list is very decent. Dim sum are just ok. I don’t mind the price but the taste is just average. Waiting service is hit and miss. But most of the time the team works hard to support customers. MoreOpenTable Diner -
