Since 1982, Buffalo Wild Wings® (or B-Dubs® as our friends call us) has been the ultimate place to watch the game, have a cold beer and eat some great food. At Buffalo Wild Wings, you can always feel comfortable pulling some tables together with your friends and staying as long as you want.More
Nat and Tomasa Ybanez founded La Hacienda Restaurant in Chico in 1948. Under modest means, they moved their family to Chico and creatively converted a building into a restaurant. Their discipline and hard work paid off when they were able to move from the original site on Nord Avenue along Big Chico Creek to the present site on the Esplanade.
The foundation of the business has always been the quality of food. Tomasa was responsible for creating the menu by blending family recipes with her own creations. The most notable creation was the Original Tostada and “secret sauce” salad dressing. The Original Tostada continues today to be our most popular menu item.
The family tradition continues and we are proud of our unique position as the oldest ongoing, continuously operated restaurant in Chico!More
Located on the Sacramento Valley floor, Chico is not merely a college town. It boasts a thriving arts scene as well as offers an abundance of dining options. Order a thick, juicy hamburger complete with a crispy cheese skirt, lettuce, onion, and tomato. For lighter fare, consider getting a wrap. Have it made with a spinach tortilla, and then add soy chorizo and avocado, vegan cheddar, and your choice of vegetables, sauces, and condiments. Numerous ethnic cuisines are also available. For something different, sample the Spanish tapas. The calamares a la romana tapas made with fried squid rings and tentacles will delight. You also have to try the campiones llenos tapas consisting of stuffed mushrooms roasted with feta, Parmesan, and red peppers. Find something for everyone in Chico.
