- ELEat2LiveSan Francisco Bay Area •24 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAutograph is a great place for a special occasion, big or small. This was our second visit and every person we came in contact with was genuinely friendly and attentive. Servers are knowledgeable with great recommendations and staff works as a team. Food is just wonderful, prepared expertly and plentiful. Salads are fresh, salmon cooked without drying out, steaks exactly as ordered. Take advantage of leftover boxes, you don't want to skip dessert. Just don't leave without trying the Lemon Cake. This is definitely our go to place to treat ourselves or guests.More infoAutograph Brasserie$$$$• Contemporary American• Wayne•4.6

- FFrancescavipPhiladelphia / New Jersey Suburbs •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoMy husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Estia and we had a lovely time. The menu offers a large variety of dishes and the food is absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very nice and we were offered cookies for our celebration. We had an outdoor table so I cannot comment on the noise level. We'll certainly go back.More infoEstia Taverna – Radnor$$$$• Greek• Radnor•4.7

The bar is extensive including several beers on tap. We had the mussels which were yummy. My main course was the melanzanne (eggplant). All I can say is WOW! It's baked and not fried and deliciousness all throughout. I will definitely order it again. My husband ordered the elk burger which was tasty and very lean. We were too stuffed for dessert. We will be back!More infoTeresa's Cafe$$$$• European• Wayne•4.7

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.
