It’s definitely one of the best high-end restaurants at State College. The decoration is great though a little bit dark in general. We came to Barrel 21 at the valentine’s day, and the special 5 courses meal was $75 per person. The test was good, as I rated 4/5, but I would say it’s a little bit over priced. $200 for this dinner, including alcohol, tips and tax, was more expensive than it worth. But, after all, living in a small town like State College doesn’t leave us many choices, and Barrel 21 would be one of my best choice for special occasions. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Very Noisy but the service and food outweighed the noisy group of students seated near us. Portions on the Mains are a bit small. Not enough food if you don't order some Apps or a salad. Excellent taste and great service. BYO unless you order wine from the Winery downstairs. MoreOpenTable Diner -
