Murray was established back in 1891 as a point for the Missouri Pacific Railroad, and since then, it has always been a pleasant village, offering visitors recreational activities and delicious food. The area has several fast food joints, but they also have a couple of excellent fine dining choices. Some of the ethnic food choices that they have to offer are Thai, served hot and fast; and Mexican, served with free chips and salsa — and where the lime margaritas are excellent. A few different Americanized restaurants serve some of the best local clam chowder and wonderfully prepared pasta. If you're not sure what you want, explore the daily menu in any eatery as the specials are worth trying.
