Great meal and service! The only negative was that they had a band (in the main dining area) and so it got very loud. More

Comfort Food | Downtown / North Loop, Twin Cities / Minneapolis

We had dined at Mercy once before, we were going to a concert that night. We were seated on the main/street level, everything from the food to the service was wonderful. We decided to go to Mercy again for my husband’s birthday, December 7th. I made reservations 3 weeks in advance and noted that we were there celebrating a birthday. We were seated in the lower level, in an area which I will refer to as “conference room B”. I was very disappointed! Our reservations were for 7, by 8:00 the restaurant had almost entirely cleared out. Apparently, everyone else who was dining there, were attending a concert or show. So, for 3 hours, (we left the restaurant at 10:00) my husband and our 2 guests sat in conference room B, which has no ambiance, nothing, it’s basically a conference room. While the main/street level sat nearly empty, which does have ambiance, action, windows, people. I must say, our food and service were wonderful! My complaint is; where we were seated. What we were there for and the amount of time and money we were going to spend, I felt that we should have been seated in a much better area. If not the main level, the Library would have been great. My suggestion would be; seat people according to; how long they plan on being at your restaurant, why they are there. Vicky Hartung More

We had a lovely dinner at Bellecour last night. The food and service were excellent and the prices are very reasonable for such an upscale place. The attached bakery was also great. More

Huge portion of chicken parm! Enough for whole meal next day! Warm bread with dipping oil was good but I would have preferred that it be served cut into slices, there were 4 of us at the table & the bread arrived in one large triangle. Overall great place & we'll definitely be back! More

Californian | Wayzata / Long Lake, Twin Cities / Western Suburbs

Baja Haus brings a laid-back, California beach-side, and endless summer vibe to Wayzata. We’re a unique, modern, fresh and healthy restaurant – Owner Billy already has an established reputation among locals for his fresh and healthy brands. (sushi fix & bibuta)

We also promise that our food is always fresh (we don’t even own a freezer/ microwave) and we strive to bring the healthiest options to you.

But possibly the best reason to visit Baja Haus is for its party-like atmosphere, large bar area, and a few of Wayzata’s most well-known drink masters, Josh Friedt (Owner) and Troy Vasquez. The duo have crafted a cocktail program unlike any other. The tequila and mezcal-centric cocktails provide a warm-weather backdrop for a Bad Hombre with habanero and serrano infused mezcal; or a Sexy Mongolian with ginger liquor, fresh lime, ginger beer, and more mezcal.More

Discover Twin Cities

The Western suburbs of the Twin Cities, Minneapolis and St. Paul, sit between the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers. These areas have long been known for their fish dishes, featuring fresh catches of crappie, yellow perch, smallmouth and largemouth bass. Of course, when you're in the mood for comfort food, there's always plenty of down-home restaurants where you can find patty melts covered in rich cheese as well as traditional comfort food diners or elegant steakhouse restaurants where you can partake in a seared, broiled or grilled steak and baked potato. Because the Twin Cities area is so diverse, you can also expect to find an eclectic mix of pan-Asian, Mexican, Italian and even Spanish cuisine to choose from.
