1st off, people make the difference. Our server, Travis was an absolute rock star. Super attentive and willing to go the extra mile. Secondly, you can’t have a well run establishment with the manger being on point. Zachary was no exception to the rule. We saw him bussing tables and sweeping to support his staff. Very well run and worth the trip!! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall
Twin Cities / Minneapolis's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
I attended this restaurant for fathers day and was not let down by the rich atmosphere and antique decor. I had the Wagyu which was brought out before hand and shown to be of high quality. The service was immaculate and the food very palatable. Overall would highly recommend for special occasions or an intimate dining experience. MoreOpenTable Diner -
This was my first time back since the remodel. I was happy to see that the food quality and service has remained top quality. We did the tasting menu along with wine pairings. I loved that there was flexibility with wine choices. I was able to choose a white instead of a red with my fish. It was excellent. Definitely will return. MoreOpenTable Diner -

As arguably Minneapolis' trendiest neighborhood, Uptown features an eclectic mix of food, nightlife, shops and nature. This district has bounced back from a 1928 fire to become a thriving hotspot. These days, it's easy to explore the wide range of multicultural and homestyle American restaurants by foot. You can try the city's iconic Juicy Lucy, a cheese-stuffed burger, at several Uptown spots. This scrumptious burger originated in South Minneapolis in the 1950s. If you're visiting in the summer, hit one of Uptown's rooftop patios. When the sunshine arrives, Minneapolis natives like to consume cold drinks and fried fish while enjoying elevated views of the city. Of course, a trip to Uptown wouldn't be complete without some good old-fashioned diner food. Scarf down some blueberry pancakes or deli sandwiches until the wee hours in a homey yet hip atmosphere.
