We came down for ladies night on our way to a conference in Madison. I had been to a Melting Pot, but the 4 others with me had not. I was so excited to share this experience with them. Besides the delicious food at a great price ($26.95 for a 4 Course on Ladies Night) our server Megan, was Ah-mazing. Megan made sure we had time to talk and didn't rush us through our meal. She had great suggestions for us and was fun to be around. She got our humor and went with it. I'd definitely ask for her again! My friends are still raving about their experience 2 days later. We will definitely be back! Maybe a new tradition as we head to this conference yearly! Hopefully Megan will be there too! MoreOpenTable Diner -

l thoroughly enjoyed La Kitchenette! The authentic French food was delicious! I found everything to be fresh and enjoyable. The ambience of this small French restaurant is great and the service was very good. The crepes in particular were amazing. Highly recommended! MoreOpenTable Diner -
The food was amazing. Our reservation was early, 6:00pm. It was not busy and we got seated at a table for 2. The hostess sat another couple right next to us even though there were plenty of tables available. The couple even apologized that they ended up right next to us. The whole time we heard what they were talking about and they heard what we were talking about. It was really uncomfortable and unnecessary. MoreOpenTable Diner -

We’re a casual, comfortable, eclectic neighborhood eatery on Monroe Street. With lots of natural light from our large windows, high ceiling and a bar that sits under a 2-story glass structure, Everly is a sun-filled room for brunch, lunch or coffee, and a low-lit spot for dinner and drinks. There is a 35 seat covered outdoor seating area, the first and only large full-service outdoor seating area in the Monroe Street neighborhood.
What we offer may sometimes be unfamiliar, but once you try it we’ll win you over. We also take familiar dishes and update them with fresher flavors and creative ingredients.More
Welcome to Nook, our little corner of the restaurant world. Nook is a family owned and operated restaurant. It is an expression of who we are: adventurous, whimsical, and a little eccentric. The food is built on quality ingredients that are treated respectfully and served artistically. We create an intimate dining experience that is comfortable and professional with no barriers - literally. There are no walls between the chef and the guest. The dining room is very much a part of the kitchen, giving diners an experience to embrace and remember.
Nook offers two Chef’s Tasting menus titled “Pre-Theater” a 5 course menu seating at 5:30 PM for $35 or “Performance” a 9 course menu seating at 7:30 PM for $75, Wednesdays through Saturdays. Beer and wine will be available along with optional beverage pairings at an additional cost. Please note any allergies or dietary restrictions when making your reservations ahead of time for the best consideration for your dietary needs. More
He’s a solid citizen with talent and charm. To our good fortune he just happens to hail from Texas and he can cook and he can sing. And he loves to do both. That’s how Tex Tubb’s Taco Palace came to be. It’s where his two worlds collide. It’s informal, friendly, casual, rustic, chaotic, comfortable, affordable, and fun. A joint, a bar with great food, authentic food. It’s his home away from home, it’s his palace.More
Surrounded by lakes, Madison is also home to an amazing variety of cuisines. Fish fry, steak, and pasta are all local favorites that you can enjoy with a view of the lake and a bottle of fine wine. However, Swiss, French, Spanish, and Italian cuisines are also widely available around the city. Whether or not you follow a vegetarian or gluten-free diet, you'll definitely want to try the award-winning falafel, which you can find just north of downtown. Be sure to also stop by one of Madison's dairy bars, which serve far more than just a handful of cheese-centric dishes.
