- RRitaHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThere were 4 of us ladies, with one celebrating her birthday. It was the first time for three of them and they fell in love with the place and the friendly Citizens. Nick, one of them Citizens, also had a birthday and so enjoyed celebrating with our birthday lady. I also love the Signature Salad, with grilled chicken, and the others had chicken crepes. All absolutely outstanding! And the rolls and apple mint tea were divine! This is our go to place for special occasions. Or, any occasion!More infoThe Cafe at BrookwoodPrice: Moderate• American• Westside•5

Discover Columbus
It would not be Texas if steakhouses were not the norm serving up favorites like beef Wellington for those who want to come out in their Sunday best and stroll by Columbus' historic sites. Truffle butter and aged locally raised wagyu steak is a popular combination in local steakhouses. South African cuisine has also grown a tremendous following in Columbus, Texas, with people choosing dishes like espetada almoco, filet medallions and scallops paired with signature wines. Fresh seafood restaurants with beach themes are easy to find with choices like Gulf Coast blackened snapper served with spring vegetables, a saffron rice pilafor a mango jalapeno relish. For dessert, Key lime gelato with a lemon ginger cookie or peach blackberry upside-down cake served with vanilla bean ice cream awaits your arrival to Columbus.
