Great food and amazing service, as always. You can't go wrong with the Shrimp + Grits, and their specials are always top-notch as well.
We took our daughter to G Michael for her birthday. The craft cocktails are very good and the food was good, as always. The service was a bit lacking, which is very rare.
Always a fanatic time at G. Michaels. My husband and I took 2 of our friends, who had never been and are huge foodies, and they raved about the meal, service and wine even days later. G. Michael's never disappoints!
With reservations, we had a nice, quiet table at the back of the main room. Atmosphere for us was quite nice, however the lights by the windows were quite bright, and I imagine sitting there would have been much less pleasant. We had great cocktails and a nice bottle of wine. Prices were as expected and food was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.
Absolutely the best restaurant in Columbus, from food to service to atmosphere. Large portions, inventive dishes and accommodating staff. Everytime we get to come it's a treat and worth every penny!
Outstanding, attentive, informative service. Equally outstanding food. Great creativity and variety. Wonderful experience!
As always the food and service exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate that we ordered all the specials from appetizers through entrees to dessert. Actually, our dessert was a second order of our appetizer, which was Oysters Rockefeller. We enjoyed it so much that we decided we wanted it for our dessert.
We ordered 4 different things and they all tasted out of this world. Steak, chops, shrimp and grits, and lasagna. There was no bad option.
This was a great choice before my boyfriend and I saw a musical at the Ohio Theater. The food was delicious. We ordered the muscles to start off with which were spicy and cooked in a tomato garlic sauce. You get a good amount of muscles for two or three people and the sauce was perfect for dipping bread in afterwards.
For our entrees, we ordered the duck and the rabbit. The duck was cooked perfectly and the sauce was sweet without being overwhelming. The rabbit was like a hardy/meaty stew. It was not my plate, but from what I could taste it was just as good. Would highly recommend both options.
To finish we had the Double Chocolate Pots du Creme (this is rich but delicious) and the lemon gingersnap tart. I'm not much of a lemon dessert person but this tart was wonderfully light. The passion fruit sauce on it is addicting. All in all it was a great experience and our waitress (I think her name was Heather) was great!
We went there to celebrate the birthday for my friend who was from out of town.
I told the waiter it was her birthday and was disappointed that they didn't give
her a complimentary dessert. Most other restaurants do.
