We are snowbirds and although we are loving Panama City Beach we were not totally thrilled with restaurants until we went to G.Foley. We went for the happy hour special, 2 course dinner for 14.99. The soup of the day was amazing - I wish the Chef had given me the recipe, but it is a family secret - and the salmon was perfect. My husband had the grilled ceasar as starter and loved it. Our server, Julia was great and gave the best service. The next night we were set to go to a different resto. We ended up leaving because we were not even sat for dinner and already disliked the staff and experience...so off ot G.Foleys we went again. Sometimes a great experience disappoints the second time. But not at G.Foley’s. We had the filet this time and again it was amazing. Everything was perfect and again we had the pleasure to be served by Julia. Even the manager came by both nights to greet us. So, I highly recommend G.Foley’s, whether you are visiting or you live in beautiful Panama City (Beach). We are going back on Thursday with friends. Can’t wait!
Live band on Friday nights at least with excellent outdoor seating. One of the few places that the food lives up to the price.
Great food and service
Food and service were excellent, atmosphere was intimate until someone brought in a squalling infant, therefore I couldn’t rate you with all stars
Always beautiful. The manager is great and always adds a special touch.
The staff here are wonderful and fun to be around! Super helpful and definitely loved on our little girl :)
Unique menu that wasn't to my taste. My wife enjoyed it much more than I. Food was not bad, just not to my liking.
It was good but I don't feel like it was worth the price. I have been to other 4 or 5 star restaurants and it was much better.
I honestly was a little disappointed. I was not aware (or was it ever made known through the online reservations, or over the phone) that on Valentine's day the whole menu would be set aside for the 100$ couples dinner. We had our minds set on what we wanted prior to arriving, and tonight out that anything we wanted, we couldn't get. So we left. Great environment, great people, bad idea to not keep the whole menu available.
Special menu for Valentines Day. Amazing.
Valentine's Dinner chateu breandau was cold and potatoes were terrible. I wasn't expecting a buffet style menu. Wished I had booked another restaurant.
Grouper was mushy and barely warm. Staff replaced order quickly but the replacement was mushy or not fresh too.
Had reservation for Valentine Dinner. Found out after we were seated that they only had a $50 per person special dinner - wasn't informed by open table, but okay we were there so we stayed. Ordered the steamed Brussels sprout appetizer and they came out raw - sent those back and ordered the fried oysters that were very good, then had the beef medallions for the main course that came out warm with garlic potatoes that were cold and not edible. The four course meal came with a dessert to split so we ordered the cheesecake -- it came out still frozen! Sorry, but for this to be such an expensive meal it missed the mark this time!
g.Foley's had a chef who was simply not good the last time my husband and I went there and I said I would not go back until that guy was gone. Luckily, management invited him to move on and hired an excellent interim chef until they could finish their permanent "chef search." Our dinner was on the last night of the temp chef and his performance was great. I had one of the newer appetizers, grilled shrimp on hoecakes and black grouper over potato chowder for my entree. The hoecakes were dense but flavorful, the shrimp nicely seasoned and the portion large enough for me to have to take some home :) The grouper was slightly crisp (as it should be) and the chowder very flavorful. We were happy with our martinis and pleased with our evening.
