My latest visit to G. Foley's was as good -- if not better -- than previous ones. I literally could have licked the plate. I loved that they had gluten-free bread (which paired perfectly with the honey butter). Can't wait to go back! Would recommend to anyone, but I think people with gluten allergies would especially appreciate it since it's not easy to find fantastic food in a gluten-free friendly environment.
Family celebration for St. Patrick’s Day, great food, great service from Trista overall a wonderful experience.
Excellent food with excellent friends and excellent service.
What a lucky find. We wanted to get away from the beach and find a neighborhood gem and how we did! Trisha at the front desk was so fun and made us feel like family. We ended up meeting several great regulars there who told us about the area. We ended up staying an hour longer just chatting. And the food. Omg. Pork chop, chicken breast w goat cheese and the lobster bisque were amazing. Also I was talked into the bread pudding. It was the best I’ve ever had. And I typically don’t love bread pudding. If we lived in the area, we’d become regulars. Great place!
The stuffed red snapper was absolutely excellent as was the service. It was just as I expected and as it is every time we dine at G. Foley's
Excellent friendly staff. Food was awesome.
Having never been there were glad we tried it came will be back.
We finally got to try out this restaurant and were not disappointed. Our server (Daniel) was very helpful with the menu and his service was excellent. On the Happy Hour Menu, we ordered the Blackened Chicken Pasta (spicy) & the Seared North Atlantic Salmon ....delicious.
If you enjoy choice cheeses & deli meats, we recommend the small Cheese & Charcuterie platter either as an appetizer or a dessert for two. ($13)
We enjoyed our experience and will return again to G.Foley's.
We always love g Foley’s. Food is consistently delicious, service is always good.
Food was good, vegetable served w/early bird was more like a weed than a veg. Airconditioning was freezing. Could not get waitress to do anything about it. Overall not a bad experience , but not perfect.
Birthday. Nice comp dessert with lit candle. Cute.
The planked salmon and black grouper entrees were excellent. We also shared the tuna appetizer and it was delightful.
Most delicious filet I've had recently. Melt in your mouth and cooked perfectly.
Very nice ambiance. Romantic. Food was good and didn’t have to wait long.
We are snowbirds and although we are loving Panama City Beach we were not totally thrilled with restaurants until we went to G.Foley. We went for the happy hour special, 2 course dinner for 14.99. The soup of the day was amazing - I wish the Chef had given me the recipe, but it is a family secret - and the salmon was perfect. My husband had the grilled ceasar as starter and loved it. Our server, Julia was great and gave the best service. The next night we were set to go to a different resto. We ended up leaving because we were not even sat for dinner and already disliked the staff and experience...so off ot G.Foleys we went again. Sometimes a great experience disappoints the second time. But not at G.Foley’s. We had the filet this time and again it was amazing. Everything was perfect and again we had the pleasure to be served by Julia. Even the manager came by both nights to greet us. So, I highly recommend G.Foley’s, whether you are visiting or you live in beautiful Panama City (Beach). We are going back on Thursday with friends. Can’t wait!
Live band on Friday nights at least with excellent outdoor seating. One of the few places that the food lives up to the price.
Great food and service
Food and service were excellent, atmosphere was intimate until someone brought in a squalling infant, therefore I couldn’t rate you with all stars
Always beautiful. The manager is great and always adds a special touch.
The staff here are wonderful and fun to be around! Super helpful and definitely loved on our little girl :)
Unique menu that wasn't to my taste. My wife enjoyed it much more than I. Food was not bad, just not to my liking.
It was good but I don't feel like it was worth the price. I have been to other 4 or 5 star restaurants and it was much better.
I honestly was a little disappointed. I was not aware (or was it ever made known through the online reservations, or over the phone) that on Valentine's day the whole menu would be set aside for the 100$ couples dinner. We had our minds set on what we wanted prior to arriving, and tonight out that anything we wanted, we couldn't get. So we left. Great environment, great people, bad idea to not keep the whole menu available.
Special menu for Valentines Day. Amazing.
Valentine's Dinner chateu breandau was cold and potatoes were terrible. I wasn't expecting a buffet style menu. Wished I had booked another restaurant.
Grouper was mushy and barely warm. Staff replaced order quickly but the replacement was mushy or not fresh too.
Had reservation for Valentine Dinner. Found out after we were seated that they only had a $50 per person special dinner - wasn't informed by open table, but okay we were there so we stayed. Ordered the steamed Brussels sprout appetizer and they came out raw - sent those back and ordered the fried oysters that were very good, then had the beef medallions for the main course that came out warm with garlic potatoes that were cold and not edible. The four course meal came with a dessert to split so we ordered the cheesecake -- it came out still frozen! Sorry, but for this to be such an expensive meal it missed the mark this time!
g.Foley's had a chef who was simply not good the last time my husband and I went there and I said I would not go back until that guy was gone. Luckily, management invited him to move on and hired an excellent interim chef until they could finish their permanent "chef search." Our dinner was on the last night of the temp chef and his performance was great. I had one of the newer appetizers, grilled shrimp on hoecakes and black grouper over potato chowder for my entree. The hoecakes were dense but flavorful, the shrimp nicely seasoned and the portion large enough for me to have to take some home :) The grouper was slightly crisp (as it should be) and the chowder very flavorful. We were happy with our martinis and pleased with our evening.
We came for the early bird special menu at 5:45PM but it was never offered.
Extremely rowdy atmosphere in main dining room...could hardly hear ourselves talk....certainly poor insulation for walls and ceiling...takes away the class that this restaurant should have.
And if some patrons are only there for a drink during happy hour you should sit them at the bar, not in the dining room
Food and service were excellent...but it was a wasted occasion. I doubt we will return and doubt I will recommend to friends.

Excellent dinner. We both totally enjoyed the food. G. Foley's is our go to restaurant to celebrate any special occasion.
Great place for our anniversary. Relaxed evening and delicious food. It was wonderful.
Have eaten here before and had great experiences. Made reservation so could get dinner before a show. We had a great waitress and the drinks and apps were good as well. However, after an hour we had not received our entrees so we had to leave in order to make it to our show without eating. It was upsetting considering that we had made a reservation and that the restaurant did not appear to be over capacity. The manager did comp our ticket despite our protests that we were fine with paying for what we ate. Maybe it was an anomaly. The manager was very pleasant and the restaurant is very nice and very clean with a great menu. Hated to leave without eating.
The food , service, and atmosphere is always excellent here. My husband an I have dinner here frequently. Highly recommend it!
gFoley’s is our New Year’s Eve spot. Three years now. Ambience and food and service always excellent. Only disappointment this year was no entertainment. We left earlier than usual bc of it in case management is interested. Still my fav restaurant in Panama City.
Hostess & waiter did a very good job. Resturant was not super busy but took a long time to get food. Once received my steak was under cook and had to be sent back. wife & sister-in-law got same chicken dish and they both commented on it no having any flavor. Overall experience was not good.
Had a wonderful dining experience. Requested a patio seat via open table, but due to a private party this was unavailable, and they met our requests (via the special comments tab) without a hitch. Our waitress, Ashley, was more than available, affable, and helpful without even the hint of hovering or over-presence. We never had an empty drink or an unanswered question. Would gladly dine again. Cheers.
Great food, service and atmosphere - always consistent.
This was our second visit to G. Foley's for the Happy Hour dinner. Our first time there was outstanding in every way, which was the reason for choosing G. Foley's again. The four of us ordered the pecan berry salad. The salad was much smaller than the one we had on our first visit. Each salad included one blueberry and no pecans. We ordered four different entrees, and they were very good. Overall, except for the salads, our dining experience was very enjoyable. We will go back again.
We have been haven our Christmas dinner for the last three years, everyone loves the place and the food.Thank you all.
