About Full Moon Cafe and Lost Colony Brewery
Full Moon Cafe has been a favorite dining destination on the Outer Banks since 1995. The location on a busy corner in the heart of downtown Manteo gives the restaurant a lively, happening feel. Dine outside under shady umbrellas or take a seat by a window indoors; either choice offers a great view of the activities in downtown Manteo. The atmosphere here is fun, un-stuffy and relaxed, with friendly service. Full Moon’s food is diverse, delicious and incredibly fresh. The owners have high standards for freshness, flavor and presentation. They’re known for their perfectly prepared Angus steaks and fresh, local seafood, but the menu includes a surprising range of fare for everyone from seafood lovers to meat eaters to vegetarians to kids. The Full Moon Brewery is the only place in downtown Manteo to taste flavorful, hand-crafted brews and watch the ancient art of brewing. The wine list is extensive, with more than 70 bottles offered.

Full Moon Cafe and Lost Colony Brewery Ratings and Reviews
The staff was very friendly even though we came close to closing. Our waitress was a nice young blond lady that was patient with our order and explained everything we had a question about. Our dishes were perfect from the appetizers to the main course. The scallops and the crab cake are to die for. I highly recommend this place.
Food and beer was excellent. Felt that the server rushed us out of there and brought checks while sone were still eating. After realizing the 20% gratuity already included. Figured server didnt really care since already getting tip. Grest start. Not so good finish.
Took the extended family (9 of us - ages 22 to 86 yrs) and everybody enjoyed the food, beer and music. Only complaint is that there were 3 or 4 great sounding beers on the menu that were now "out of season". Need to keep that beer menu updated! The food was well prepared and presented. Everyone got one of the seafood dishes and they were plentiful, fresh and delicious.
The beer was delicious; everyone who drank really enjoyed theirs. The food was fine, but just...eh. There are so many great restaurants in the Outer Banks, I was hoping for just a little bit more. I ordered a quesadilla, and the bottom was so soggy I couldn't pick it up, it had to be eaten with a knife and fork, and even that was kind of a struggle. My fiancé's crab cake was delicious though. I think it may just depend on what you order. I would try it again and try something else.
