My son has been here multiple times and recommended it. He said the chef perform great tricks however it's didn't. Was hoping to see a great shows. Overall it was a good trip for a surprise reunion for my husband and his old Navy Buddy

Fire alarm going off 20 min food cook too fast

The fire alarm went off for 17 minutes and we decided to tough it out. We were expecting some free drinks, deserts, or a discount and didn’t get any of the above! Disappointing double date with my daughter and her boyfriend.

The waiter was pretty rude when we first arrived. We were 20min early and when we were sat down he made the comment we were wondering if you were ever going to show up. Just because others got there before us does not change the time of my reservation. I was early not late. He was polite the rest of the dinner. He gave a dirty look when we told him we did not want the salad. It would be better if they offered more than one dressing. The food is good, but the portions we got are in way close enough to the amount of money we pay.

under cooked meal. We talked to the waiter and we still get charged the whole amount even though they served us undercooked chicken and shrimp. We go a good amount so we were suprised that it was undercooked and we were dissapointed that we werent offered anything

This is the first time that I was not impressed with the service and the server. We apparently got a brand new server that was pretty much just a cook. they got my meal order wrong which was the Fugiyama deluxe. I got served chicken and when I ask the chef why I did not get any lobster and scallops she got some from the kitchen and served me when we were all finished eating. One of the reasons we go to Fugiyama's is for the entertainment presented by the chef. We were all disappointed by the lack thereof this time.

We eat here almost every special occasion. We live our cook as he's been there since opening and always does a great job.

One of our guests was late and subsequently his order got messed up (we preordered for him). The staff did what they could to resolve it and that was appreciated. The food was good and the restaurant was busy-ish. The server was very good to us as well as the chef. I am not blaming the lateness of my guest on the good mixup. That was definitely a communication issue but it didn’t help that he was as late as he was.

We have the same chef everytime and he is amazing! He's always in a lively, fun mood and can entertain kids and adults alike. The food is always delicious - we come back often for special occassions!

We normally have good experience with Fujiyama but this last time we went our chef had managed to put a damper on what’s supposed to be a fun birthday celebration. She was very careless on how she started our meal by splattering us with oil and water. Though I know she didn’t mean it still upset our party. Mainly because she wasn’t very apologetic about the whole situation she just tried to shove it off. She even said oh it’s just one of those days. She rushed through the whole cooking that the other chef even turned and asked her oh your done already. Though she gave us a bad experience, management and our waitress made up for it. They did the best they could to give us a good outcome.

We went to Fujiyama for Christmas dinner, something that seems to be becoming a tradition. We were seated promptly once the last of our party arrived and had beverage service shortly after that. Both our server, Desiree, and our chef, (sorry, I can't remember his name, but he lived in Yokosuka for 10 years and served in the Navy for 6, if that helps), were wonderful. For having to work on Christmas day, they were friendly, helpful and in the case of the chef, hysterical!
