Love the yum yum sauce - it's yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy
Our chef was wonderful (Daniel) and the food was fantastic. We were a little crowded around the table but the people to our right were enjoyable. It was obvious that this restaurant has been around a while and has a loyal following. We will be back. Scallops and steak were wonderful.
Everything was amazing
My Valentine’s Day was a fail, I had taken my girlfriend to show her a good time and the cook was drunk and mentioned it several times. She got orders wrong and continuously interrupted her service to get food from the back. I will not be going back because of the fact our cook was unorganized and extremely unprofessional. I will not be going back and will also ensure I relay the information to my friends. I’m extremely disappointed in the service we were given.
I would still recommend and will continue to go there however, try to improve on the wait time because people reserve their time but still need to wait for hours to be sitted? At our visit, walked in were prioritized before us who has a reservation. Which is horrible!
We love Fujiyama's...frequent flyers, if you will. We always order the steak and shrimp for 2, which doesn't disappoint. It too a little long to be seated because of Valentine's Day...1 hour after our reservation time, and it appears that was because of walk-ins getting priority, which was disappointing... also didn't look like when you made the reservation made any difference (4 days ago or today, last minute). The food was great, though, as usual. Too bad they didn't respect their reservations.
Because it was Valentine’s Day, it was a packed house. Took a little longer to get seated even with reservations, BUT it was worth it. Food was perfect, chef was awesome. It all went in a timely fashion after being seated.
Love the personalities of the servers! We will come back!
We always choose Fujiyama for our special occasions. We made a reservation for two on Valentines Day. My husband had the Valentine's Day special (shrimp, chicken, steak), and I ordered my usual (Shogun). Our cook was very funny, and listened well to the tables requests, for how they like their food. Having been big fans of Fujiyama, we were surprised that the rice was not fully cooked, our chef did not cook the veggies all the way, and there was egg shells mixed into the rice. My husband said that his shrimp was still raw, the entire table thought that the chicken was very dry, and the quality of the steaks has also decreased. Where we live Fujiyama is the only family affordable restaurants where you can also be entertained. We were disappointed that the food was of poor quality, especially on a holiday, where they were likely to be easy once the dinner crowd arrives.
The online reservation was simple. We ended up getting there 25 minutes early and within 10 minutes was seated.
It was a very entertaining, friendly and very accommodating environment.
I picture this place as a special occasion destination. However, if we were all dressed up on a hot date, I’d feel more “at home” over at Olive Garden or Outback Steak House. (My feeling and opinion on this visit)
We had a blast and will be going back. I’m sure every night, crew and the surrounding guests will always be a little different. Which really, who wants the same ol’, same ol’!
Best experience we love it there the chef was awesome food is awesome best place to eat
I would unless they were looking for quiet and then I couldn’t recommend it.
We are regular customers; always enjoy the entertainment and excellent food. This time we went to lunch. Our server was nice, but very scatter-brained. Forgot some things we ordered and forgot I gave him $126 dollars and indicated I gave him only $26.00, and that was after I counted it out to him showing him the bills. Not intentional--just scatterbrained. The cook was good--but somewhat inappropriate with his jokes at times. Just need to know his audience and to keep it clean and fun. Otherwise, the food was excellent as always.
We have gone 3-4 times and this was the best experience ever!! Our entertainment was provided by William and I will be sure to request him in the future and tell all my friends to get him if they can!!!
Love this place. So much better than Benihana.
The restaurant dirty. I mean if you look in any corner there is leftover food from who knows when.
It took thirty minutes to get our drinks and the servers reason was that they needed to wash cups. My reservation was at 5pm, how were they not ready for a dinner rush will clean dishes.
Our server was nowhere to be seen.
The chef was super sloppy and while performing one of his tricks, he threw a tray and spilled a couple ladies’ waters in their laps.
The tasted good and my daughters enjoyed it that’s why I gave them 3 stars, because the night wasn’t a complete waste.
It was ok, cook was so-so, show was so-so, I requested Jeremy, but we didn’t get him.
Always LOVE coming the Fujiyama's! Have never had a bad experience!
We love this restaurant, we always come here to celebrate special occasions! Very kid friendly and staff is always friendly and the service is excellent!
We love this place and come often. The food is always delicious and the service is wonderful. Ask for Will. He's our favorite cook.
Fujiyama never lets us down but this time our waitress was not good. She messed up our drink orders to start with and was slow in even bringing us water. She made a mistake on one of our families bills, she almost forgot we wanted the birthday experience and so we were ready to leave and then they sang the birthday song. Our cook did not have much personality and so the cooking experience was dull. The table next to us was entertained by their chef, we were not. We know bad nights happen so of course we will be back, but our service was certainly not worth the 18% that was added to our bill for gratuity.
My kids loved it! Good show, and great food. Plenty of menu options, and it was a great time for everyone.
comfortable dining room Service was well-timed and friendly
The food was delicious with generous portions but what made the meal and entire evening special was William the chef. William is a very talented hibachi chef who obviously enjoys his profession and customers. The multi coarse meal was prepared perfectly all why William preformed his magic with knives, spatulas and food items. It was my dates birthday and I earned big points for taking her to Fujiyama's.
Wonderful food, as always. Our chef, Will, was so much fun. Entertaining and prepared everything perfectly. We had such a good time. Look forward to going again.
Our chef was awesome. Food was very good. Table mates were no fun at all and super unfriendly but that’s not the restaurant’s fault.
Gabriel, our server was a bit TOO into being "gay and fabulous". He also forgot to refill my friend's iced tea all 3 times it was requested. Then he complained about being given two tables during a busy time and that his co-workers better not complain about having to help him. He also had to be reminded to bring the spoon for the birthday cake and then thanked us for tipping because "Mr. $135" (a separate party that shared our table) didn't. He also harassed another companion because she had a headache. On the opposite end of the spectrum, our chef was AMAZING and the tip I left was mostly for him.
Reservations made 2 days in advance and called day of but they were still were 46 minutes late seating us. They sat multiple parties before us and a large party of 12 who all had reservations after us.
We went a little after the usual lunch hour so the restaurant wasn’t full at all. Service was attentive, food was amazing as usual.
Food was good but the cost was not worth it. No show or anything like other times I have been there.
Typical hibachi steakhouse fare with huge portions.
Simply AWESOME place for food and gatherings. Cant wait to go back again.
Reservation at 6:30. Was informed "short of cooks" and were seated to at least order drinks and look over menu. Took orders but was a wait for the cook/chef. Food was good but the "show" seemed to be cut down dramatically, may be due to time.
Wonderful, as usual!
We had a fun time with the family!!
Our waitress was a mess. She did not know what a Bacardi and Coke was. She asked if we wanted to add any shots into the coke and juice. She was very slow. We got seated then it took about 1/2 hour to get our drink. She then took the order for our table and since she took so long 1/2 our table got up and left. So we then had to start over once they sat new people and filled the table again. The table was dirty and had food all over it where I was sitting. Even the waitress thought it was disgusting.
Dinner was delicious, but the wait time to get seated was pretty bad, and our server was not very good. The chef kept having to remind her of things, like she never brought our salads so we got those halfway through entrees, and she didn't refill drinks. The chef was really good, didn't do as many tricks as some, but she cooked the food perfectly.
Good show, good food and friendly staff. Would recommend and will return
Service was very slow. Food was not cooked all the way. Rice was barely warm and chef miles never cleaned the grill so we got chard bits of food with our meal. Waited over 20 mins to get the check. Terrible service!
Enjoyed our visit as usual. We will always come back
