Food was great, a little bit of a wait beyond our reservation time but once they got us seated the service was pretty quick.
Great service and great food. Excellent for special occasions. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience
We arrived early for our reservation. Due to the current guests we waited a half hour for our table. No a big deal but the young host was a bit too boisterous.
Once we were seated we had pleanty of good food and the chef was entertaining to watch.
Great atmosphere and yummy food. I would go there again for special occasions.
It was an amazing night out with the family and a special someone and her two awesome kids! Food was great, service was impeccable! Loved every moment, overall amazing!
We love this restaurant - however, they need to do something about managing reservations. We made a reservation and came on time but were not seated for another 30 minutes due to other parties that were coming in being seated first . This was unfortunate since we had a few handicapped individuals in our party that could not stay very long. When asked when we would be seated, the host explained he was “mad because management made him seat other people first and it’s not his fault- he then explained he wanted to go home and smoke a bowl” good for you ? He said once individuals finish their food we could be seated and pointed to tables who just sat down. Once we spoke with management we were seated ASAP and the dining experience and food were wonderful. I hope they figure out a new way to handle reservations as we probably won’t be reserving larger parties again.
We have visited Fujiyama's several times and almost always have a good experience. Our most recent dinner was fantastic! Our chef Daniel was by far one of the most talented chefs that we have encountered. He was funny, personable and had several new "tricks" that we have not seen before. We really had so much fun, and our food was excellent!
A group was set at our grill that had special dietary needs. No butter, eggs extra. The cook decided to make their food first then ours. The grill was constantly cleaned because of the other group. Our food just didn’t taste very seasoned, fried rice was crunchy. Loved the chef but those people should have been at their own grill. Bad seating and customer service on the hostesses part.
In my opinion the quality of the food and Chef’s have gone downhill over the years. My order was wrong and meat was over cooked. The fried rice, which used to be delicious, is just bland now.
Service and food were great. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and they made it for very special for all of our guests.
The wait time is horrible. They really need to do a deep clean of that place. My plate was dirty, the glasses were grimy and the silverware was nasty. Our chef was amazing. He kept us entertained and the food was okay.
Our first time here and we totally loved it! We will be coming back
great food as always, but staff seemed very unprofessional & we sat down next to a couple who had already been there for awhile and were eating their salad and soup, then we were served salad and soup, and still waited 20 mins for our cook. slow service.
Took 2 hours to get our meal, sat at table for hour without service.
Made reservations for 6. Got seated around 6:10. Our waitress I guess was never notified that we were seated, so didn’t even get drinks until almost an hour later!!! Our cook forgot 2 kids steaks! We finally were able to eat and leave at 8:30! The manager took off just 3 sodas and about $15 off our bill. If we would’ve used our military discount, we would’ve almost gotten the same amount off. HORRIBLE compensation for the nightmarish customer service!!!
It’s time for an update inside, it’s looking a bit old. Old shelves and furniture around the restaurant. Just needs an update.
Fun environment and plenty of food for the money. Chefs are always entertaining.
Awesome food. My steak was like butter. The cook was engaging and put in a great show
We had a party of eight to celebrate a birthday (my husband’s). We were seated a couple minutes early and our drink orders taken.
Service was prompt even though it was a pretty busy night. The only “downside” is there was a mixup and too much fried rice was prepared. Steamed rice was brought to those who had ordered it and everybody got to share the extra fried rice.
The couple who was seated with is were also celebrating a birthday and seemed to feel welcome in our group.
The food was delicious and my husband’s birthday meal was free (the lady celbrating her birthday opted out of the free meal).
Overall this was our best experience at Funiyama ever (not that the others were bad).
We will return!!!
There were 5 of us and a baby. It was a Tuesday so it wasn’t packed. The waiter was very rude and barely said a word to us. I think his name was Lian. After we did give our orders we rarely saw our waiter at all. The chef was good but forgot to cook our chicken. After she was all finished she realized it. We had lobster, steak, scallops, shrimp and chicken. $40 per plate. They rushed us through our dinner and while we were still eating brought us our check. They left to go cartons opened up on the grill and never even asked if we wanted any help packing up our leftovers. The busboy then put new plates and utensils in a pile on top of our grill! My heavens, we were still eating! We were rushed and not really spoken to much. For a $350.00 dinner we felt taken advantage of. It was so great to visit our kids, but that dinner was a bust. Be ready for anything. We will not be visiting that restaurant again. Very disappointing.
Fujiyama is usually my favorite place to go in Silverdale. My kids and I enjoy the great food, and the fun way it is prepared. The last two times, we really have not been impressed. We have had the same cook. He has not added any fun to the dinner, both times complaining that he wanted to go home. I was overcharged for our meals charged for rice on top of the meal price, with no extra rice. In both instances, when our plates were served, the portions were extremely skimpy. They did not serve the usual salad with our meal this time, and they were not on top of the drinks or getting the children the special chopsticks. (something the kids enjoy attempting every time we go. I was really hoping after the first time that it was an isolated incident, but I will not be coming back to Fujiyama when I pay $100 for an adult meal and two children's meals, and it is a poor experience.
The food was great, our server was great, our chef was not entertaining and had a very dry sense of humor
Food was ok not worth the price restaurant was dirty food on the floor dirty plates food was dripped in floor then picked up and cooked and served to us definitely a decline from previous experiences a year ago
I loved our cook he is always funny he makes laugh all the time
This was our first time being at Fujiyamas. I’ve always heard good things about it. We weren’t disappointed at all, as far as the adults. My two young grandchildren were wishing there were more regular kid type fare on the kids menu. Like fish and chips, Mac n cheese. They didn’t like the chicken strips.
It was great fun watching our chef. The food was excellent. It was my sons birthday, so it really felt like a celebration! We will definitely return!
Love the yum yum sauce - it's yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy
Our chef was wonderful (Daniel) and the food was fantastic. We were a little crowded around the table but the people to our right were enjoyable. It was obvious that this restaurant has been around a while and has a loyal following. We will be back. Scallops and steak were wonderful.
Everything was amazing
My Valentine’s Day was a fail, I had taken my girlfriend to show her a good time and the cook was drunk and mentioned it several times. She got orders wrong and continuously interrupted her service to get food from the back. I will not be going back because of the fact our cook was unorganized and extremely unprofessional. I will not be going back and will also ensure I relay the information to my friends. I’m extremely disappointed in the service we were given.
I would still recommend and will continue to go there however, try to improve on the wait time because people reserve their time but still need to wait for hours to be sitted? At our visit, walked in were prioritized before us who has a reservation. Which is horrible!
We love Fujiyama's...frequent flyers, if you will. We always order the steak and shrimp for 2, which doesn't disappoint. It too a little long to be seated because of Valentine's Day...1 hour after our reservation time, and it appears that was because of walk-ins getting priority, which was disappointing... also didn't look like when you made the reservation made any difference (4 days ago or today, last minute). The food was great, though, as usual. Too bad they didn't respect their reservations.
Because it was Valentine’s Day, it was a packed house. Took a little longer to get seated even with reservations, BUT it was worth it. Food was perfect, chef was awesome. It all went in a timely fashion after being seated.
Love the personalities of the servers! We will come back!
We always choose Fujiyama for our special occasions. We made a reservation for two on Valentines Day. My husband had the Valentine's Day special (shrimp, chicken, steak), and I ordered my usual (Shogun). Our cook was very funny, and listened well to the tables requests, for how they like their food. Having been big fans of Fujiyama, we were surprised that the rice was not fully cooked, our chef did not cook the veggies all the way, and there was egg shells mixed into the rice. My husband said that his shrimp was still raw, the entire table thought that the chicken was very dry, and the quality of the steaks has also decreased. Where we live Fujiyama is the only family affordable restaurants where you can also be entertained. We were disappointed that the food was of poor quality, especially on a holiday, where they were likely to be easy once the dinner crowd arrives.
The online reservation was simple. We ended up getting there 25 minutes early and within 10 minutes was seated.
It was a very entertaining, friendly and very accommodating environment.
I picture this place as a special occasion destination. However, if we were all dressed up on a hot date, I’d feel more “at home” over at Olive Garden or Outback Steak House. (My feeling and opinion on this visit)
We had a blast and will be going back. I’m sure every night, crew and the surrounding guests will always be a little different. Which really, who wants the same ol’, same ol’!
Best experience we love it there the chef was awesome food is awesome best place to eat
I would unless they were looking for quiet and then I couldn’t recommend it.
We are regular customers; always enjoy the entertainment and excellent food. This time we went to lunch. Our server was nice, but very scatter-brained. Forgot some things we ordered and forgot I gave him $126 dollars and indicated I gave him only $26.00, and that was after I counted it out to him showing him the bills. Not intentional--just scatterbrained. The cook was good--but somewhat inappropriate with his jokes at times. Just need to know his audience and to keep it clean and fun. Otherwise, the food was excellent as always.
We have gone 3-4 times and this was the best experience ever!! Our entertainment was provided by William and I will be sure to request him in the future and tell all my friends to get him if they can!!!
