The service was O.K. a little slow. Waitress forgot our ice cream and I had to remind her. I did not like the Onions used in the stir-fried rice. The onions were of a type that were way too pungent and strong. They didn't agree with my stomach and I couldn't brush my teeth enough to get the flavor out. These are the same onions they use at the best buffet on Trosper avenue in Tumwater. Better to use a milder, sweeter onion. Because I don't like the onions I won't be back...sorry
Food was just as we expected (Excellent) and cooked very well. High quality meats & seafood.
Chef had a great personality and was very friendly. Waiter was concerned with selling drinks and ignored requests for water re-fills. Next time I will bring my own water bottle.
Mixed review because front desk girls where extremely rude but the bartenders where so awesome! Our chef was fun but although I made reservations/accommodations well in advance they have special "rules" that made us be seated an hour late. We had to get a manager/owner is order to get seated since some of our people wanted to stop by for drinks instead of be there for the food show.
I had heard great things about this restaurant and decided to take my dad for his birthday. Our family had a great time. Our chef Ray made it very entertaining and fun. My dad even had "happy birthday" sung complete with a small taiko drum. I would be prepared to spend a little extra (price) since it is a specialty place but they have a dinner combo for two that includes a lot of food (even dessert) which was totally worth it and very reasonably priced. You won't go away hungry. I would highly recommend it.
Had a good experience with our family there. The only downside to this was the confusion somehow on my husbands meal he ordered. He didn't get his lobster. One thing he was looking forward to. It was Father's Day weekend and that was his special dinner. They worked things out in the end but, he still didn't get what he wanted and left a bit disappointed. We all had a good time though, so that's what mattered. The waitress was nice and polite. Seemed a bit overwhelmed at times though and especially because of the confusion and mistake she made (we all make mistakes) the manager was really digging into her, which was tough to witness. I do get it, It was a busy night but, things could have been a bit different at the end and that poor waitress didn't need to feel like she was that terrible for a mistake. I hope her night went better. The chef was entertaining. The food was good. All in all, I give 3 stars. Everyone enjoyed their time there. We will return.
