Had never been before! Absolutely amazing! Our chef was awesome. Food was cooked to perfection. Will definitely go again 😊
It was so cool watching them cook right in front of us! Me and my girlfriend loved it!
Great food! The chef (Bobby) was fun and interactive!
It was super fun, but it was really cramped. We were elbow to elbow with the people next to us. It was a little dirtier than I would have liked but we still had fun and the food was good.
Great food. Love going to Fuji and especially having so many leftovers for lunch!
My son had his birthday theee and he loved it had so much fun.
The food is fantastic and the show is even better. Our check was funny and the food tastes great!
Delicious food good show not a place for a quite meal but as long as you are t looking for super quite it’s a really great place
We have been to FujiYama’s many times and have usually enjoyed a great cooking show, great service, an overall great family dinner out. This time we went for our son’s 29th birthday and it was horrible! Our waiter cursed several times while taking our order, the Chef Park was not into a cooking show at all and had to leave the cooking station 3 times to get food that was missing, and then just was not attentive to the fact he left food on the grill while he went back to the kitchen - our scallops were rubbery and tasted like they were spoiled! Needless to say out of the 8 people that had dinner the two of us eating scallops were sick - very disappointing birthday celebration!
Our cook was not engaged with me or any other customers. If I'm spending over $50 for a meal that I could get for half that price somewhere else, I expect to be entertained. Food was okay. Chicken was a little dry. Base off of my experience, I would not recommend.
Good food just sad we got a chef who wouldn't talk to us or interact. He came and cooked and left, no fun and no laughs.
We love the food!
Get the chef with the black hat. Head man who will entertain the whole family
It's a show, and an experience. Our chef was great, the food was good but the spectacle is the point and they did a great job with that.
The bad part: we had a reservation, but our table wasn't ready until a half hour late. When we did get a table, we were packed in - thirteen people around one grill. We weren't the only delayed reservation, either. The lobby was FULL of people with reservations. I think they were overbooked, which is not okay.
They also play a bucket like a drum and shout whenever someone is celebrating a birthday, which wouldn't be so bad if it happens once or maybe twice a night. It was CONSTANT.
If they got a little more professional in thr front end and quit the zany family style happy birthday bellowing, this place would be fantastic.
Once we were seated the experience was great. We had a 5 PM reservation and were not seated until 5:25.
We love our chef! We get him pretty often and he is always a pleasure! He has a great attitude and hold great conversation with the table! Our server is also amazing! We’ve had her a few times too and she is always on top of what we need! They both get 5 stars from us!
Old dirty needs remodel.aa@a@a@ddddddd ssss$ss$sddddddd
The only thing I didn’t like is we had a reservation and we still have to wait 20 min to be seated. The food was good. There are lots of choices for entree’s. Kids menu was good and great options. Kid friendly restaurant. It might be too loud for babies.
Staff was amazing. Food was great. There to celebrate a birthday. Pricey but enjoyable.
The chef we had for this visit was not on his game. He was going through the motion but he just did not seem to be into it.
Our cook was incredibly rude and generally unfriendly. Worst experience I've ever had. The other servers were ok and the food was decent but the cook ruined the night for us which happened to be my daughter's birthday. Unbelievable!
I've gone my first time at dinner time and it was fantastic. This time was earlier and wasn't the same. The chief wasn't as fun, over cooked the chicken and steak. I know it couldn't be helped but there was a family that was seated next to us (we were having a girls outing, away from our kids) so when a boy between 8-10 was being obnoxious and in my eating space (the little given all ready) was a turn off and barely ate my food.
It was our first time there and it was great. We would recommend this restaurant to friends and plan to come back. Glad we made reservations.
Our visit was so much fun! We all loved it! There was 9 of us altogether. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. Our Chefs name I believe was Yama! He I believe had to be the best entertainer there! He was so much fun! Thank you for making our family dinner such a fun event!
We made reservations for noon. Restaurant doesn’t open until 12:30pm. Don’t make reservations if you are not open for that time. The person who unlocked the door told us “ Oh well”. Very rude. The food was excellent and so were the regular employees.
Very good food. Would recommend the restaurant get theirs hours of operation updated on the web site. Good food and great presentation by the chefs.
I love this place. They do need to do something about the front doors though! The slam shut very fast and hard. Tonight I saw 2 people get tossed around by them. One was carrying a baby! Not good. But the food and service is amazing! The theatre of the chefs is great fun!
My cook made the food so salty I can barely even eat it and the rice was burned
If I could give this a zero I would. I ate at this place 2/15/19. The whole experience started off terrible. My husband has a phobia of having his back to the exit he always likes to sit to where he can see the exit to the building. When we were seated the African American lady seated us. My husband is also African American keep in mind so this is not about race. She seated us so that our backs were facing the exit. He told her of his phobia and she just dismissed him saying well you can wait longer for another table. We had reservations at 800 and had already waited 20 min past our reservation time and our son was very hungry. We said no we will stay. She could of just rotated us to the other side so that he was facing the exit. It is very disrespectful for her not to accommodate people with phobias especially when the request would of been so easy to fix. We weren't asking for much. The whole time we were there my husband was nervous . After that our cook was terrible too. There was sanitation issues such as him sharping his knife in front of us and then cutting into the chicken. He didn't even wipe his blade off after he sharpened his knife, so now our whole table was going to eat metal shavings. Other things were he dropped his towel on the floor and picked it up and put it back on this hip, this is the towel that he wipes his knife off on and then his sweating and wiping his forehead with his hand. The food didn't taste as good as it usually does. Every time we go here the cook uses butter on their food he did not. The vegetables were under cooked and fried rice tasted plain, basically I could of ate regular rice. And he kept on forgetting who ordered what and didn't have enough of the food people ordered so then people had to wait for their food longer to be cooked . The only thing that was good here was our server, he made sure our drinks were refilled even before the drink was gone and he was very kind.
We had a great experience. The waitress took great care of us and the chef was entertaining.
I was the only one at the table the actually just ordered fried rice and I got the least amount of food i paid 18 dollars for fried rice and didn’t even get half a plate worth. The front desk girls were so rude and didn’t even care to say hello to check us in. The female bartender ignored us for thirty minutes and helped people that came up after us. The Fujiyama in Olympia was horrible I’ll never go there again
Our food was burnt had too many people at table so we were last ones to get food and got very little wife got sick from food
Service needs to improve big time and waiters don’t need to asking customers for big tips
Always a fun place to go. I expect to come home smelling of food. I expect it to be noisey. Part of the experience.
Overall great experience. Cook looked to have a rough day but it was enjoyable. Yum yum sauce is the best will go again. Food is amazing!
It was one of the best places I’ve ever ate with the taste and cook.
This is a favorite place to go. Great food and entertaining.
Food is always great. Service was a little slow this time, but overall, a good experience.
Service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Our chef was top notch and interacted with us which made the experience very enjoyable. It was our granddaughters birthday and it was a lively time.
Chefs were fun, ambience was good. Lobby was packed and cold. Full of people waiting for their entire party before they would seat them. No where to sit. Service was not great.
