Designed with attention to details normally reserved for sculptures, Fuji is elegant without being stodgy. The Japanese Cuisine is so good it lives up to the legend inspiring gallant decor.
You don’t have to travel half way around the world to immerse yourselves in far away cultures. You can partake in Fuji's unique pleasures of creative sushi and a mix of traditional and modern Japanese entrees. This incredibly stylish restaurant, bar and joint set the tone of modern day Zen Ambiance.
Arrived around 5:30 and the service was so good and fast we finished by 6!
Really extensive menu and great food.
Very careful with my shellfish allergy too.
Our new go to sushi place when in NYC. Visiting from Upstate for Thanksgiving. We ordered appetizers and sushi/sashimi with rainbow roll for two, it was delicious!!!! Sushi lovers, you won't be disappointed, lots of variety on the menu, very reasonable prices.
Great first date! Thank you for the amazing food, attentive service, and great overall experience! Will be back!
Lovely presentation and delicious sushi and sashimi platter.
Average food quality--over-priced compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area.
Quick, helpful service. Reasonable prices, good food.
Great Sushi on a cold and rainy night in Manhattan . Highly recommend this , food was fresh and delicious , service was great
Great place on the UWS!! Definitely one of my favorite sushi places in the city. You definitely get what you paid for, and staff goes above and beyond in customer service. Inexpensive compared to other sushi restaurants, but the value is so right!!
We had such a great time at dinner! Excellent customer service and great sushi! Would recommend to anyone!
Great experience at Fuji Sushi! Service was great. We got the Sashimi Deluxe from the dinner menu for $26. It contained 18 pieces of chef’s selection (six types of fish) and was big enough to split with my friend. All six fishes were excellent! Our server even threw in an extra miso soup as we were splitting an entree. The atmosphere is also really cute. Great experience and I will return!
Solid good sushi and bites. Few tables covered outdoors. Would also be good for takeout and dine in.
food was great! it was a last minute decision to go to NYC and i was afraid of not finding a place to eat and we found this lovely restaurant.
Very much enjoyed my dining experience at Fuji
Wait long time get service. Other than that everything was good.
Great food! Great service!!
The food and service was amazing - we will most definitely be coming back!
It wasn’t great
Mediocre at best decor and inside. Not nice at all. Terribly expensive. $20+ for specialty rolls. Food not tasty at all. Maybe an off night. Shrimp tasted frozen. Too much tempura coating on everything.
I had an amazing time here for my friends birthday- and we went with a large party. Our server was so sweet and the food was delicious. Will come back again for sure.
Awesome food and service! Great outdoor seating. Great location.
So delicious! We ate outside, even while it was raining! We will definitely be back now that we can eat inside again. The staff was so nice and food was delicious!
Always reliable, but learned to avoid the tempura as the batter is always heavier than expected. Plenty of other great choices.
Great food. Great value.
Loved it! Great good, service and ambiance. The wait staff was so nice and helpful, and let us stay for hours! Will definitely be returning.
We stopped into Fuji Sushi for a late Sunday lunch. Truth be told we chose it based on fact not many quality Sushi places in midtown open for lunch on Sundays.
We were very pleased with everything ordered. The quality was very fresh. The service friendly. The prices very reasonable. I ordered a martini, it was only $8.00 plus the bartender gave me the extra in another glass! Also a selection of Japanese beer.
If you’re looking for a reasonable Sushi lunch or dinner near Columbus Circle, Central Park, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall check Fuji Sushi out.
wonderful fresh sushi done beautifully and quickly. No ambiance though.
Great sushi. Good portions. Good service. Place could do with new decor.
Good food. Not super cheap but good value. I will be back
We were impressed to learn upon booking that this was the original sushi restaurant in NYC. The menu looked fabulous and made choosing our meal a challenge. However, we each settled upon the combo deal that included salad and three sushi rolls. PERFECT. And the price was even better. We have marked Fuji Sushi for our next visit to town.
It was ok but not wow
Sushi rolls had great flavor, and also were too big. It is not comfortable to open mouth big frequently to eat a bite.
This is a favorite place for us to bring family and friends. Everyone loves the Chef's Choice platters that offer a wide array of sushi and sashimi. Vegans and Vegetarians have many vegetable choices! The avocado and hijiki roll is my vegan favorite!
Very nice place to eat in Midtown. We enjoyed the Sushi very much.
Great neighborhood gem. The food was good quality and we loved the extra long happy hour (until 10pm on the day we were there). We would go back.
Such good sushi! We liked everything we tried.
Great sushi. Will be sure to dine again.
Outstanding staff. Very friendly
It was just a “meh” experience. I didn’t like how their chirashi and katsudon are presented: on a dish instead of a bowl. Sushi didn’t seem all too fresh.
Really good food and great value
Servers were borderline rude. Food was ok. Spicy tuna was interesting. Hamachi was good.
