Rolls were very tasty with fresh ingredients. Tempura was excellent- crisp and not too greasy. Steak teriyaki was done to perfection- rare and tasty with crisp vegetables. Good value and ambiance conducive to conversation.
I have dined here many times. This time I ordered a miso cod platter and it was meh. I have had the same dish elsewhere and loved it. I will still go there again. The menu has many choices and most of the food has been delicious.
Always delicious and the rolls are delicious. We ordered ex-girlfriend nachos and they are amazing. the rolls were wonderful also.
The service was very slow. Ordered a drink at the beginning of dinner and it never came so we had to cancel them. Also, for a “nicer” sushi restaurant, the sushi was not good quality. The rolls were not as advertised and were poorly presented
Exceptional Sushi and Great Service. Will be back.
Slow and fairly inattentive service. Food was solid. Nothing remarkable, but reasonably tasty. Decent value
Best sushi in Philly! Super fresh and always consistent.
Very nice, cozy feel. Food was delicious! It was easy to get to and parking wasn't an issue.
Delicious as always. Tried some new rolls, including the Firecracker which was the favorite of the night. Definitely recommend a visit.
Food is good, service is terrible. I’ve eaten here several times and literally every time there is no table open for my reservation. You might as well just show up, reservations mean nothing here.
A tad bit on the expensive side for the amount you get, but the food was mostly good. One of my rolls was bitter(compared to the same roll from other restaurants) which makes me question its freshness, but other than that, the rest was tasty.
Excellent Japanese food and service. Good value. It is family friendly. We enjoyed it very much and would go again when visiting Philly.
Fuji mountain had soup and sushi that tasted very fresh! Each roll was filled.
Very mediocre food-- the sushi appetizers were chewy and the food was not very flavorful. Our waitress rarely checked in on our table for our orders or after we got our food, and I waited 10 mins to get silverware so I could eat my steak with something other than chopsticks...
Bento box is a wonderful lunch - variety, plenty of food, delicious. A calm quiet place for conversation. I have dined here many times and will return and recommend it to friends.
Fuji Mountain is a hidden gem, offering some of the best Sushi in Philadelphia at better prices than the better known places in the neighborhood. We went here for Restaurant Week and had more than enough food for $20 at lunch.
They waren’t care about the reservation when I told about it so I started feeling the place might be not good as much as I expect.
Foods are good according to my friends from Singapore and India but we’re okay for me from Japan.
One thing bothers me was what the menu describes plate. I would not say all are wrong but it should clearly explain if it is real crab or immitation. I was disappointed to see the plate as “spicy crab” was the imitation crab mixed with chili souce as well as squid.
I could recommend the place to my friends who are not much familiar with Japanese foods.
Service was great, food was wonderful-loved the menu options
They took our lunch reservation for 1:30pm even though the close from 2:15pm. We did not know they closed and were rushed repeatedly. The hostess asked us to hurry up. It was during restaurant week so we were suppose to eat 5 lunch courses in 45 minutes. Not impressed with that kind of service! But the food was great!
AS ALWAYS WE ENJOY EATING AT THIS RESTAURANT. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FOOD.
Went for Restaurant Week lunch and the food was great. Service was fast and you got 5 courses! I would definitely recommend.
We ordered delicious seafood soup and a salad. WE also had spicy tuna roll and dragon roll...always yummy. The staff is very nice and the food is always fresh.
We first came here aboht three years and the quality was excellent. Since then the quality of fish has gone way down. We couldn’t finish the meal because the quality was so poor. Not worth $80.
Best veggie udon 🍜 soup and good quality sashimi
The food was amazing !!! Calamari app and spicy seafood miso soup as delicious.
So fun to share the dinner for 4 with some great colleagues and friends. The fatty Tuna was like butter!
Delicious as always. We had 3 different sushi rolls and ahi t7na appetizer. Great portions and wonde ful service.
WE ordered an appetizer that was tuna, with avocado and wontons and it was delicious. WE also ordered 3 other rolls which were fabulous...One was spicy tuna, the other one was rock and roll and the third was an eel roll.....very nice staff.
Went here with a coworker for lunch and had a great experience. It's pretty straightforward ambiance-wise but the sushi is great. There were tons of options and the service was really speedy and receptive.
Our waitress was great we were very disappointed with the food
Sushi was really good for the price. A lot of variety for sushi. The service was a little slow, I had to get the waiter's attention in order to ask a question about the food.
Went to Fuji Mountain during restaurant week. They offered a great 5-course dinner for 35 dollars. I got a soup, a salad, an appetizer, a entree (sushi+sashimi combo), and a dessert. Great food, awesome service. I had to take some home because it's a lot!!! My only complain is they automatically charged us 20% tips. I mean, the service was great I probably would have given this much for tips but still would like to have a choice.
We made a reservation for July 3 at lunch for 5 people - a good sized group! Received a confirmation email and reminder. Upon arrival to the restaurant- we discovered it was closed. Ruined our plans. No communication whatsoever.
Waitress was great. Constantly filling water glasses. Had the special of toro. Which was melt in your mouth delicious. We also had the hurricane roll that was just as good. Decor. Was non descript. But it really didn't matter. We asked the waitress. Of an ice cream place and she recommended a great place a block away. Great gelato
They always have high quality fish, so get a selection of sashimi every time. Even if you have one of their entrees.
Really good rolls and sushi. I brought my Japanese inlaws here during a Philly trip from NYC and we were all pleasantly surprised with the food and quality.
Awesome sashimi
Sushi was amazing. Beyond the traditional roles, the Chef Special roles are extremely unique and tasty. Of course you get what you pay for, but this was so worth it.
Just really awful food. Chicken Katsu was so dry it was almost inedible.
Bento boxes are delicious and substantial for lunch. It's a calm place. You can have a conversation without shouting. Server accommodated our request to be out in one hour. I have dined there many times and will return and recommend it to others.
