Our server Matthew was OUTSTANDING. I would come back for his service alone not to mention the delicious and fresh meal. Well done!
Hotel is difficult to get to and the hotel itself is a little odd but it was a very good experience overall. The view is wonderful.
Food was delicious made it just in time
For sunset a beautiful view modern sleek and relaxing ambiance
Loved the food , and loved the view ! I would come here again
We Love going to Fuego! The outside is beautiful and the high table top has always been great.
Everything was wonderful. Did not have to wait on our table, staff was cordial and professional and food was excellent. Only complaint is those pesky insects that were trying to enjoy my food as much as I was.
View and atmosphere were great! Service very good. Unfortunately very disappointed in the food. First I ordered the lobster which was chewy like a steak very over cooked, I sent it back and they let me choose to remake it or try something else. I chose the rope vieja it wasn’t like any rope vieja I’ve had in the past it was more like a dried out pot roast w/o the vegetables. We had the Creme brûlée which was good except for they over torched the top which gave a burnt after taste, and the soda was flat.
All employees were wonderful. Welcoming, pleasant and efficient. Jackie - our waitress -- was outstanding. We have already recommended it to others. What a wonderful experience.
Never going back!! Worst service ever. Sat in the sun for 30 minutes without anyone attending to us. Not even sure water refill that was served to us by the busboy. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and was so upset that we had such a bad experience. We talked to the manager and he did nothing I mean nothing to at least make it up to us. It took more than an hour for us to get our food and appetizers. Yes we got everything at the same time. So disappointed.
Excellent food, vibe & entertainment
We were there for Sunday Brunch. Several large parties, which I’m assuming affected the service for two female friends meeting for brunch. Big assumption, I know. But I’d like to give the restaurant the benefit since it was my first time there.
The hostess was friendly, professional and gave us a good table. Our middle aged male server was far less attentive. He didn’t greet us for at least 15 mins, and when he finally did, he said hello, poured us tap water and said I’ll be back…. After another 15-20 mins he graced us with his presence. We were rushed to order our cocktails, app and entree’s on his schedule. Phew. Glad we weren’t too inconvenient for him.
My ahi tuna salad could have been amazing. If only it hadn’t been over dressed and the avocado had been ripe. Small details. The guacamole was some wacky version of avocados puréed with milk or cream and topped with pico de gallo. Bland, boring and a huge waste of money. We probably ate 5 bites. My friend’s chicken salad seemed ok. She ate every bit of it! One out of three isn’t too bad, is it?
The ambiance is why you come to Fuego. Let’s be absolutely clear, the ambiance and the strong cocktails are 100% worth enduring the poor waiter service.
The waterfront seating is perfect. And the contemporary jazz band with Caribbean influences is fantastic! Very loud…too hard to chat while they’re performing, but still worth it.
Go to Fuego for the atmosphere, cocktails and music. Just don’t go hungry.
We had a wonderful brunch here on Sunday and the atmosphere and service were very good. The sparkling cava was very nice and the music was a bonus. The guacamole was great but the chips were stale. Three had the eggs Benedict and loved it. One had avocado toast which was so-so. Overall it was a great afternoon. Will definitely go back.
The view was beautiful and the ambiance is great for a date
Dinner was Fabulous..
A beautiful evening..
Great place to celebrate a special occasion. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and it was the perfect place.
A great setting and good menu. Everything we ordered was well executed. Don’t to forget to validate your parking!
Service was good, with a great view.
I was amazed of the service the food and the drinks everything was delicious. I was looking for the perfect spot . And you guys got 5 stars . Perfect view . Perfect On Everything we will be back soon
Great Food and Great Service ‼️
Beautiful Atmosphere ‼️
The restaurant has a nice view of the water but the food is overpriced and under seasoned. The service was lacking. Our appetizers came out with our meal and one of our dishes came out wrong twice.
our servers were amazing, the vibe was everything and SOOO pretty! will definitely be returning!
The food was delicious and the ambiance was beautiful!! ❤️
It was my first time here. Such a super cute place! The view was beautiful and the food was really good. The choriqueso was *chefs kiss* highly recommend getting that appetizer. We went for brunch and we can’t wait to go back for dinner!
I wanted to rate 5 but I felt something was missing during our entire dining …I think it was the large group sitting not too far which was celebrating something and they were obnoxiously loud with clapping and speeches. Otherwise it is splendid location. good food with exceptional service.
We were a party of 4 for a birthday lunch. There was no wait and the staff were very gracious and accommodating. Our server, Jackie, is just the best!
Food is very good and nice selections. The seafood enchiladas are a favorite for 2 in our party. Other 2 had very good salads, one with steak and one with chicken.
Of course the view is unbeatable. As Long Beach residents, it's nice to look back at our beautiful shoreline.
The creme brûlée with berries for dessert is "to live for".
Fuego restaurant has the most fantastic view of the Long Beach Skyline from the very large patio. No air-conditioning as the restaurant is all open-air. The setting is lovely day or night.
I met a friend for a light lunch and drinks. The current menu is limited to selected items for appetizers, lite meals, main course and dessert. Full bar.
We chose to have the beef quesadillas with mango chutney....OMG...delicious!
Parking is $2 with validation.
This is a place you want to come and linger drinking in the ambiance with good food and cocktails. And, to share with friends.
had a great evening celebrated a birthday the ambience was nice.
Service was poor, food was bland, the only great thing was the view.
Wouldn’t go back to be honest.
Gorgeous views and delicous menu options made for a special afternoon. I felt like I was on vacation!
Ezechiel was outstanding! Very efficient and friendly.
This is our favorite place to take guests visiting from out of state. Such a beautiful view of Long Beach. Matthew took care of our family so very well, and kept us entertained with his wit. Great service!
Love this place. Going back definitely.
So relaxing great view grea se
Food and drinks were good! The French toast were my favorite! Wish they had some ambiance music because it was pretty quiet but that’s just a personal preference. Overall I would recommend this place for brunch!
We always love eating hear. The food is good and the scenery is beautiful sitting sitting so close to the ocean. We had a wonderful time with family from Arizona.😎
My friends and I enjoyed everything about our recent visit. The setting is beautiful, probably the best view of Long Beach from the water. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Every one of the staff that assisted was friendly, polite and professional.
Amazing view! Great food & service!
It was a wonderful celebration for my mothers birthday
Can’t say enough about Fuego. As a local we go pretty often. We always have a great experience. Service is impeccable (thank you Ricardo!), wonderful views of the city, and food is delicious.
Great service and food and beautiful terrace and views. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Definitely will return and recommend.
