First time trying this restaurant and it was definitely a wonderful experience. The view itself is beautiful, the service is amazing and such nice staff, live music, delicious food and drinks. I already want to go back again.
First time being there...I didn’t know there was a time limit. My friend and I felt rushed and there won’t a lot of people. I won’t recommend this place to anyone.
Food was good enough, service could have been way better. Felt like they didn’t want to help us.
The food and ambiance were good. The Marina was quiet being Covid times. The service was excellent. I just wish they had more offerings, the menu seemed limited, but, I found an excellent choice on the appetizer menu.
Overall great experience.
Our experience wasn’t the best and we went on a Monday night. Our host was the best worker there in my opinion. She was the only person that got anything done, from keeping our table for us to turning on our heater outside almost 30 mins after we asked our waiter. Our waiter was horrible and this left us with an unpleasant experience. The drinks were better than the food and parking isn’t the best. But over all the view is nice but book a reservation before you go like we did. Hopefully your experience is better than mine :)
As always, the food here is top notch. Creative, fresh and well plated. The service is very friendly and covid-safe but we were left hanging for a while before taking our orders, and not informed that we'd be given bottled water instead of tap. There were enough heaters for everyone and they have the tables 6 feet apart with a tent overhang to help keep the heat in and sun out, but without tent walls that we know reduce the needed air circulation for covid. Beautiful views. Was able to keep the calories down with the mushroom spinach risotto and street corn; spouse loved the chicken and kiddo scarfed down the bacon cheeseburger. Amazing fried plantains, too. We'll be back! Appreciated using the Travelzoo voucher. Maybe this is why they were totally full on a Monday night?
Wonderful food, view is great, service is great. We had a beautiful enjoyable lunch.
It would be nice if the time allowed was a little longer.
The beach location is ideal. The service is 2 thumbs up. My order taste okay but hubby"s fish was salty> I ordered 2 items but one item was not delivered... which is fine as I was full.
Overall you can't go wrong with dinner at Fuegos. The view of Long Beach skyline and the bay to go along with food, what more can you ask for?? The service was on point. The restaurant was a little pricey, but you do get what you pay for.
The outdoor setting was beautiful we had a table by the waterfront, it was windy but there was heaters everywhere. The food was beyond delicious and the service we received from Laura was exceptional, definitely going to come back.
Our server Skylar was fantastic! He really made our night!
My first time there, the service was excellent, very attentive. The food was great and views of the harbor fantastic.
Had a great time! The manager was amazing immediately helped us out when we got there and got us a great table. Our server was great too super attentive! You cannot beat the view, service, and food! Definitely recommend
Perfect for date night! Great food and amazing views!
food was over priced and gross. you go there for ambience thats it.
Menu a little limited now, but service and seating good in this time of Covid.
Go around 5:30 to get both the day and nighttime views
Have been going here for years and the staff is fantastic.... that being said, the food just is not that great besides the burger
... seems like some dishes are an experiment... would love to see the food rally and match the incredible view.
Food very good and view was awesome . Definitely will return.
I enjoyed the food and the experience. Our server, Joe and Rubin, were the best. Learning about the contactless menu was great as well. I recommend Fuego at the Maya highly.
It was so nice to visit Long Beach and enjoy a lovely lunch. I really enjoyed the crab cakes! Everyone was so nice!
I have been to Fuego many time before the Covid Pandemic and stayed at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach. I remember how clean and elegant Fuego used to be. I was disappointed it was not very tidy, the tables were not being cleared quickly. We went for lunch but I recall linen on the tables, this time the tables were bare. I also recall the food was good. This time the food was not tasty and I was extremely disappointed with the plastic container the hummus was served in and the lack of elegant ambiance. It was not a great experience this time.
The view of the water is the only good thing that remains.
The food is limited but the view and drinks were amazing
Valentine's day dinner was a set menu
the food was amazing.
Had our Valentines Anniversary here! The food, view and service was outstanding! Coming back again!
Galentines dinner
We went for Valentine’s Day and at first my husband didn’t like that it was a set menu because we LOVE the food here but when his stake came it was delicious and so was my risotto. The restaurant also gave a rose to al the ladies, which was so cute. The view was amazing the service was great. Awesome experience ❤️
The salad portion was small as compared to the price for the appetizer. Understanding that it was Valentines Day but the service, especially waiting for the main course was slow.
Valentines Day
Very small amounts of food basically for birds and expensive
We had a reservation, we were seated right away. Getting in was a little confusing as there were signs everywhere which took us to a big loop down some stairs.
The food was delicious. We had crab cakes and heirloom carrot salad ti start. The sauce for the crab cake was divine. My husband had the sea bass and I had the filet mignon, both were delicious. The drinks were good, not out of this world but we also ordered pretty boring drinks (a margarita on the rocks and a vodka mule). My only complaint here is that we were charged for water ($3 for a little plastic bottle). It seems wasteful both for plastic, water and money.
The ambiance was great. We had a lovely view of the water. The heat lamps were set comfortably. There was a classical guitarist that was delightful.
All in all, I would go back.
Wonderful Valentine's Day menu. Lovely crab cakes as a starter. The filet was outstanding. Perfectly charred on outside and cooked to perfection on the inside. Subtle, but delicious sauce with some blue cheese to top it off. Drop dead delicious ganache cake for dessert. Incredible guitarist set the mood and of course, the view does the rest. Great service, great time.
I had the tenderloin beef and it was delicious, very juicy and cooked well! I had their signature margarita and it was to die for
This was by far the worst Valentines Day dining experience I have ever had... EVER! First of all, we had our reservations at 4pm and did not get seated until 4:25. We over heard a few of the staff on how they were behind due to some unforeseen circumstances, that was understood, it happens. We get to our menu and they had a “Valentines Day” menu, very limited options with nothing that was appetizing in the least bit. My wife and I enjoyed delicious Spicy Palomas and we left to go eat elsewhere. We would’ve appreciated if we would’ve been informed on the menu because we would’ve gone elsewhere from the very beginning. Terrible Valentines Day.
Great place good food
And the location scenery was beautiful
Great night service was excellent would definitely recommend it
We love coming here so much!!! This place is a hidden gem. Beautiful oceans views & great breeze to enjoy. We were Celebrating my mom birthday & our waiter Ricardo was amazing, he was on top of everything & made our celebration perfect.
Great location, good food, generous portions, all for a reasonable cost. Parking is $2 when you validate at the restaurant.
The food is wonderfully crafted, well thought out and a foodies paradise! The Latin- fusion style flavors are a must try! Can’t wait to go back. It’s pricey, but worth every penny. Service was great, wonderful hospitality.
The food was very good and the service excellent. Would return!
