   Aside from the pretty views there is nothing else worth having at this place. Food was subpar and so were the drinks. It took close to 15 min for someone to take our order. Overpriced food for the views.

   DON'T fueGO! Wife's cocktail was so sweet it tasted like lemonade; and my gin 'n tonic tasted like some artificial additive, not quinine. Shrimp ceviche sauce tasted like tomato-flavored dishwater. Guacamole was decent, although the bonus barbecue salsa tasted like too much cheap smoke flavoring.

   This was our first time coming, and Mother’s day was a great choice! Great ambiance, wonderful servers, and lovely live entertainment. Each cocktail and dish we got was so tasty! We definitely want to come back. Thanks for a great experience.

   I was very disappointed with my experience at Fuego. I took my mom for brunch for Mother's Day and we were treated to poor service and mediocre food despite there being 30% empty tables throughout the restaurant and the bulk of employees walking around. We had to wait at least 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. I had the Spinach and Mushroom Risotto and it was so bland and tasteless I didn't even eat 3/4 of it. My daughter had a burger and it was burnt and her french fries were cold. My mother had a prime rib, one of the priciest items on the menu and it came out cold and flavorless. My mother loves restaurants by the water so I tend to take her to Fuego for special occasions. After this experience, we will not be back.

    Mother’s Day was very nice with roses and Mimosas for the moms, live background music and of course the beautiful view of the Queen and Downtown Long Beach.

    Ambiance is lovely. Food would be good if it was hot and timed properly. We were served our salad after a long wait, then 1 minute later our entree arrived. They said they would re make it but we were served shrimp with the texture of shoe leather, then they remade it but gave us tiny portions.

    First time here and loved everything. However, the service could be better. Staff was helpful and pleasant but food service was slow. Our reservation was for 6:30pm and did not leave until 10mins to 9pm, mainly because we were waiting the whole time for our food. We’re usually not the type to stick around and just chat. Not sure if the restaurant was short on staff but the mains took a good while to get out. I was hesitating to order dessert given the slow service but then I still did because we were celebrating my mom’s birthday. Ordered the skillet cookie with ice cream and it took more than 30mins before we received it. We devoured it less than 5 minutes and asked for the check as we just wanted to leave already. Again not sure if something was going on causing the delays or maybe it was a Friday and its a busy night but we were still understanding of the situation. We will still come back because the food and ambiance is really good. Hope the service will improve.

    The service was lacking, they seemed disorganized. I checked in a party of 10 and waited half an hour to be seated, there was confusion on their end because they had 3 parties of 10. Servers were nice but slow. Overall the view and the good food saved this place

    Had a reservation for 630 got there at 615, checked in and they said table would be ready closer to time of reservation. So got drink at bar and waited, see bunch of people coming in after us and getting seated. At 640 I check what's up and they ask if the other person was here....I'm like we checked in 20 minutes ago. Wtf. They said oh oops well we don't have table yet but then a min later we get seated (there were many tables open)...once we finally get seated it takes a while for waitress to come take our order. Then when we order food takes a while to come...chicken wads dry and don't get street corn as side. It was cold and seems like just a can of corn topped with mayo. The view is nice so that was just the saving grace to this restaurant.

    Went there for a friends Birthday and it was great! Nice ambience facing San Pedro Bay, great food and drinks. Even though it was busy for lunchtime on a Saturday, the wait staff was very attentive and didn't wait long for food and drinks.

    This is a beautiful setting with an amazing view. The food is also excellent. However, a restaurant competes with others based on *service*, because we expect good food and ambience in most restaurants of this price range. We had a 1:30pm reservation, made a week in advance, and when we arrived we were told to wait. I asked about 10 minutes of wait, and poorly trained hostess said "we're not seating people because we don't have servers." I waited for another 15 minutes, so it was 25 minutes of standing behind the bar, watching completely empty tables not be filled. This is thousands in revenue going to waste. This hostess was just walking around chatting with other workers. I asked for the manager, and she brushed me off stating "he's busy". So, I started arguing that we have a reservation, and that should be sufficient for the restaurant to plan ahead. My day depends on this reservation being honored. A waitress interceded ridiculously stating it was "inappropriate" for me to speak to the hostess. So she called the manager. He was better trained, understood the situation quickly, and sat us down. The waiter, JR, was magnificent and the meal was great. A Either: 1) Train your hostess and plan ahead; 2) Keep your tables full at all times; 3) Fire her and find someone who can aptly handle a restaurant and customers; 4) Don't seat walk-ins if you have reservations! They come first. WOW, simple restaurant management, not rocket science.

    We had reservations for 6:30- the restaurant was full so we had to wait about 10-15 minutes. Grabbed a drink in the bar while we waited the bartender was very personable and friendly. We finally were seated and no one can to our table for about 15 minutes. Everyone just walked by us.. very frustrating. Finally we flagged a waiter down and he took out table. He was great but the initial part of the evening was not going well. The food and ambiance were great but it was very very very noisy and I felt like you couldn’t really chill and enjoy the atmosphere. I would rate the overall evening as just okay. Very crowded with weddings and a prom… not worth all the hassle

    The food was delicious as always, and the view spectacular. Unfortunately, the service was pretty slow. We were a party of 8 and there were several other big parties, but then staff up a little. It wasn't horrible but paying a little more attention to our table would have been appreciated.

    Beautiful place with very good service. Food would have been great, but they covered several dishes (shrimp adobo, sea bass, maybe others) with so much fatty sauce that it really was disappointing. Order “sauce on the side” and you will be okay. To the Fuego management, get your kitchen plating in order, this was not acceptable. Thank you.

    The table service was very good. Our problem was with the parking validation. It did not work for the three cars from our party. We ended up having to pay the full price ($23 each) because there was no attendant at the booth. Very disappointed. If it was valet, that would have been better, but $23 to park for less than 2 hours!?

    Took a friend for a treat to celebrate her birthday. Loved sitting outside with an amazing view. Our server was attentive and SMILED while suggesting food or taking orders. That’s huge because that reflects that people are generally happy working at a place. Food was delicious - I had tacos and my friend had a salad. Everything was very well cooked. I also got a sangria - for the price could be better. It’s a little expensive and lunch menu is limited (which is a good thing). The view and service was GREAT! We took a short stroll after lunch and they validate most of the parking. Absolutely recommend and will be back.

    Everything was excellent from arrival to departure. When we arrived at Hotel Maya, the personnel at the front desk directed us to the restaurant where the host validated our parking and walked us to our table. The view of downtown Long Beach and the bay was beautiful. JR was our server for the night. He was quick and knowledgeable of the menu. There were a few errors but nothing that wasn’t quickly resolved. I recommend this place for a calm and inviting experience.

    Very nice setting. Looks like the perfect place for weddings, etc. We really enjoyed our experience while celebrating my birthday, however it seems they forgot the birthday boy's Martini twice, and I had to keep asking. Really?! Thinking about going back to give them a second try.
