Amazing view of Long Beach Harbor. Food was also
Atmosphere was awesome. Our server was outstanding. We will be back here to dine.
We waited for about 30 minutes to be seated when the host was ready to seat us he was going to put us indoors when we specifically asked for outdoor seating, he said well that’s not promised and it would be a longer wait, it was about 30 more minutes (about an hour after our reservation time) that we were finally seated. It took a while to be served but once our waiter came around he was very nice and accommodating. For the most part the staff tried their best to accommodate us but the fact we had to wait that long was unfortunate.
This was my first time at Fuego and I was looking forward to it. The waiter did not check in frequently to see if we needed anything. The food was okay.
We had an amazing experience celebrating our anniversary at this location. Our server Victor was wonderful. The whole staff was just amazing. Truly recommend this place very beautiful, clean and efficient. Amazing experience.
Service was very poor especially with the inexperienced host.
We will not be going there again
Excellent service, good tasting food . .price a bit high ($50 PP) but I have noticed other restaurants have increased their prices to make up for the cost to upgrade operations to meet CDC "COVID-19" health rules.
Service was amazing, unfortunately the food and drinks were overpriced for the quality we received. Chips and guacamole was $15 and the chips weren’t fresh or warm, personally I’ve had better chips and guacamole at a much more reasonable price. Also the Pollo a la plancha was bland and the chicken was over cooked. You go to Fuego for the ambiance and service.
Carmen was an excellent server, friendly and anticipating all our needs
Service was fast. The waiters kept checking in on us and they were friendly.
The view is pretty. And the food was yummy.
Relaxed , no rush away from normal Long Beach business. Feels like a resort setting, very nice decor and spacious dining. Kinda pricey, but it’s so unique and worth it for special occasions or celebrations.
The host was not happy to be working there she seemed so miserable 3/10.
The restaurant seemed like it’s on its last days , old crusty wood tables worn down silverware 3/10.
Our waiter was ok some What helpful 3/10.
Our appetizer was guacamole and chips , the guacamole had a hair in it which was pretty unsettling but the waiter offers another serving that we did not touch at all do to the fact that I had asked another waiter if it was made fresh to order which he responded to yes every morning we make about to batches and left me wondering if they served my second guacamole from the same spot appetizer 0/10.
The food was ok ropa vieja 5/10.
And for the value it was a bit pricey do to the fact they they are charging like there was great service great food and great ambiance 3/10.
Would not go back or recommend this place
Great ambiance and amazing food! Let’s not forget the view, so beautiful.
We asked for rolls or bread which we were told were not available.
The waiter said toast was available.
When we got the bill we noticed two slices of toast was $4.00.
Other than that we enjoyed the experience.
Waiter had a face shield but never put it down ... makes people uncomfortable
Food was nothing to write home about but the views and ambiance made up for it. Decent prices for being right on the water. Easy validated parking ($2 for four hours) made it a good choice for meeting up with friends.
Place is Amazing with a beautiful view . They sat us on a cute excluded area and the service was excellent our waiter made us feel like queens . From
Drinks to food it was delish. Would totally go back
We went for an early dinner for a birthday occasion. The drinks were delicious and the view was amazing. The waiter was very attentive. Food was good. Stand out was the yummy guacamole. This is definitely a special occasion place and if you’re picking up the tab for everyone, it’ll be pricey.
This overnight on Thursday was relaxing.
Had a wonderful outdoor dining experience at the Fuego. The Shrimp Adobe was amazing!
Only wished our room wasn’t facing the kitchen rooftop that was noisy from the a/c.
Great risotto, wonderful shrimp, tasty margaritas. Had a great evening watching the sunset.
Great food, excellent customer service, and perfect ambiance. We had outside seating, which was great
Very good food and a real value with Travel Zoo. Excellent service and a great patio. Awesome views of Long Beach and the waterfront
This was our first visit to Fuego and we will definitely be back! The patio view was fabulous, beautiful view of the Queen Mary and water, tables were well spaced and there are heaters to keep the temperature comfortable. We had the shrimp adobo and filet mignon. Both were excellent! The jumbo shrimp with adobo sauce with califlower and brussel sprouts was my favorite. It was delicious and plenty of food for me! I took home half of the vegetables I couldn't finish because they were so good with the sauce! The filet was good but came a little over cooked. It was topped with a sauce and bleu cheese which I liked. We had signature margaritas on the rocks and creme brulee for dessert, which was delicious and topped with a few strawberries and blueberries. Thoroughly enjoyed everything!
The setting is great and on a beautiful day the view is gorgeous! All the staff were very polite. Our server was Ezequiel (109) and he was very attentive, helpful, personable and provided great recommendations. The food was very good--mostly seafood dishes. We used a voucher from Travelzoo which was valid Monday thru Thursday. The only complaint was the parking validation process. This restaurant is located in the Maya hotel right near the Queen Mary and the Reef restaurant. The restaurant stamped the ticket but that doesn't electronically do anything and the booth at the exit is not staffed so we had to back up and go park near the entrance and ask the front desk to validate the ticket. We appreciate the validation, but the process needs improvement. Perhaps provide the restaurant with the ability to electronically validate instead of rubber stamping. If the exit booth is staffed, no problem if all you have is a stamped ticket. Otherwise, we enjoyed everything and will most definitely be returning for brunch when the weather warms up and it's a nice sunny day. Thank you Ezequiel for a great experience.
Good food and friendly and attentive staff.
Great place. Would highly recommend for lunch. Great staff and food.
The location is special with outdoor dining on the coast with view of the city.
The service was friendly and efficient! The fuego margarita with chips, salsa, and guacamole is a great way to start!!
The mahi mahi tacos are delicious!
Lovely outdoor experience! The staff do a great job.
Really enjoyed my meal here. Food was fantastic, the view was amazing, and the service was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I only docked a star because it took a while to ask for the check and to get it taken care of. Other than that small knock, it was wonderful. I would definitely recommend.
Awesome view and weather. Dinner time, the patio is all shade so it’s nice and cool in the summer. Food was great, but not excellent so 4/5 stars. Drinks we had were excellent, very strong pours. I’d definitely go back.
Salmon over cooked and the hostess was so rude I will never go back. My waitress was very nice.
The place is wonderful- great view
Food is good, but I excepted better for the prices
Cocktails good, but they would benefit from a better cocktail menu
Food is a little pricey but was very delicious. Got a TravelZoo coupon that worked out great. Beautiful location and views. A bit busy on the patio with some large groups (that got louder as the drinks poured).
Was a little tricky to get a heat lamp - had to ask several times. There was also no notice that parking would $22 even with the restaurant’s validation.
Good service. Improved from prior visits
Love the ambiance and setting of Restaurant Fuego and the Hotel Maya; may make a staycation at the Hotel during this Summer with my husband. I brought my daughter who was visiting from out of town for brunch after paddling Swan Boats at Rainbow Lagoon, the restaurant was the perfect spot to end our day.
Beautiful view of the Harbor. Good food and margaritas.
It just doesn’t like a lot of food for the cost. The guacamole was not great.
The food was so. I was the only person out of 6 that liked the food. I got the salmon. Everything else from burgers to tacos. Guacamole & salsa were just so so.
The view was nice.
