Impeccable service and wonderful food. We had a great table near the open kitchen. Lively atmosphere but we had no problem engaging in conversation with our friends. The food was excellent and would not hesitate to recommend.
It was a nice evening. Food was well prepared and beautifully plated. The gnoccis were fantastic. The wine pairing must be improved. Servers were punctual.
Always a great experience. Chef’s blending of ingredients is second to none in Dallas. It makes a difference if you care about the food. The clientele will feel cared for. Staff are also well trained. Missed our sommelier tonight but got another good wine for home collection tonight. Cudos!
We travel to Dallas a few times a yr. This is our absolute favorite spot! We travel here for the Guest Chef Series as often as we can, too. We follow online as well. My husband's a chef so we have mad respect.
It was an incredible experience. The food is amazing, an authentic adventure for the palate. The service and attention received were specials. And we had the oportunity to see how chefs prepared each recipe since we’re sitting in the table in front of them, it was unique. Also they were so kindly preparing an anniversary dessert for us. They paid attention to all the details that made an unforgettable night.
My only sugestion would be to have a music that will go hand in hand with the atmosphere.
Group of 4 and we ordered everything on the menu to share. Every item was wonderful, not a single marginal dish and the service was great and helpful and very friendly. Even the bar tender was great to talk to and learned about all their infused drinks and preserving techniques the restaurant uses. Great place for a group who like to share their plates. Highly recommend, the staff does an excellent job!
I really love your restaurant and I was excited to take my parents there for the first time. However the service was sub par which was very disappointing. We had plates left on our table all the way up until our next dish came out, food took longer than usual and the waitress just disapeared for a bit. Was very disappointed with this dining experience especially since all other experiences were phanominal.
Great and awesome experience
Great flavor combos served with an artistic flare
Chef Matt McCallister creates meals with such flavor and beauty which you won't forget once you have eaten there. The atmosphere he created at FT33 is the perfect setting to enjoy both the artistry in his food presentation but also experience the flavor journey as enjoy the various courses. He is a James Beard semi-finalist and his work reflects that excellence.
If you can get table 33 so you get to watch him and his team in motion, I highly suggest it. I also love how he uses the seasonal vegetables as a painting palette to his work. Their menu can also handle vegan or vegetarian, just ask the staff. Menu is ever changing and they offer great wine and cocktail pairing with any dish. You always remember and meal from there, that is one reasons we keep going back.
FT33 has wonderful creativity. Food is fresh and comes from farms within a hundred mile radius. Menu changes seasonally and never disappoints. Always knowledgeable and attentive service.
Hands down the best restaurant in Dallas right now. We ordered the tasting menu plus the charcuterie to start, and every dish was even better than the last. The chef utilized local ingredients in creative, unique and absolutely delicious ways. In every dish we had, each flavor complimented each other. Especially loved the beet dish with roti, the snapper crudo, the gnocchi (out of this world good, light, fluffy, creamy goodness), and to end - the paprika popcorn butterscotch dessert. The sommelier picked the perfect wine pairing. Highly suggest this restaurant for foodies/anyone who loves unique, delicious food.
As always amazing food and perfect service. Love this place and all that it represents.
All the dishes were creative and exceptionally well prepared and delicious.
Still thinking about it. Worth every penny.
The food was excellent and the service was great. Brandi was our waitress and she couldn't have been better. I recommend the pairing of food/wine and let your server choose your courses. I'd go back there again!
Food was good but not outstanding. Dishes combine a lot of different flavors but none stuck out
Felt a bit rushed. Food was decent but definitely not worth the price.
The food was good. I am glad we went, but I am not sure I would go back. Overall, we had a good experience, but that is all I have to say.
Ok food. Ok service. Overhyped
Our server was amazing, very detail oriented. He talked us through each course and the food was out of this world.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. We did the prix fixe menu which was one selection from every section of the menu. With a group of 4, we were able to order and share the entire menu for $75pp. Chad was our server and knew the menu very well.
Be nice if they had tablecloths....which might help the noise level.
We always enjoy dining at FT33. Food is always delicious. We’ve been dining here for years and it only gets better. Tasting menu is a must.
I think it might have been an off night. I suspect my next trip will be better.
I hate to give this place 2 stars as the food was very good. However, the service (or lack thereof) left quite a mark on our experience. We patronized FT33 on Valentine's day and let me say I was quite pleased to find that there we still open tables indicating the restaurant was not as busy as I was expecting. So ideally we should have received prompt service. Hubby and I patiently sat and waited to be acknowledged for close to 20 mins. Oh...wait we got water in those 20 mins. I suspected that the female waitress that was waiting the table next to us was who were waiting for but she seemed uninterested in serving us...for whatever reason I don't care to know. I was able to flag someone down to finally at least talk to us and take our drink order and then eventually "go ahead" and take our food order. I have never felt so excluded in my life. Thank you Garrett for the excellent service you provided in spite of your recalcitrant co worker. As far as food, the shaved kohlrabi and the cavatelli dishes were outstanding. Unfortunately I will not be visiting FT33 again.
Amazing menu and the service is on point. This place is well managed. If my waiter was busy someone else brought the next course and everyone knew the menu. Very intricate plating- was fun to watch and eat. I highly recommend for a well run and fun evening out! They have a sign up.....”you can’t do epic stuff with basic people”.....they have a great staff.....
Amazing! Recommended to me by friends, this was such a fantastic experience. I was on a business evening, and we had a wide range of preferences. Everyone came out pleased with their choice. Our server was exceptional, and the unique flavor combinations for most of the dishes were perfectly balanced. A great find!
Although we enjoyed the experience, the food portions are on the small side and one of us wanted the 4 course fixed priced menu but both of us had to partake of the 4 course so that choice was abandoned because one of us did not.
Went for an early Valentine’s dinner. It was delicious as always. We both did the pre fixe with the wine pairing. Thought the wine pairing was PERFECT. Fun, creative, delicious dishes all around.
We had a fantastic dinner with absolute creativity in preparation and originality
We had heard such great things about this place and had wanted to try it for a while. The food was definitely unique, however for the price point you do not get very much. Overall good ambiance and service, but the menu is really meant for an artsy food critic than a good date spot.
It's was a wonderful as usual. It's a special place for us over the years as it was our first date. The food is always creative and fun.
great little restaurant. Was a little weirded out by all the pickled jar foods all around the place but I understand that is what makes the food taste great!
What an amazing experience! From the moment we walked into the door we were greeted warmly by the lovely hostess. I brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his promotion and they sure made him feel great! Our server was training and was just great! Her trainer even came over to introduce and was keeping a watchful eye.
The food...THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. Period. Fresh, flavorful, colorful, tasty, out of this world. Nothing can do this justice so I recommend you get here now to eat.
They topped our meal off with a lovely "congrats" cheese board and champagne. Beyond special.
We cannot wait to go back!
Such a great time, the music, food, service. A fantastic group of people sharing a passion in the exploration of culinary experience.
Wine Director, Mychal Trujillo, designed spot-on pairings.
This place was amazing. Not gonna lie, we did get alittle lost and couldn't find the place at first. We stood outside unsure if we were at the right place and one of the servers came out to greet us. Once inside, we were seated in front of the kitchen. I hadn't asked to be seated there, but it was such a nice surprise. I had told them that we were celebrating my bfs birthday and the staff did wish him happy birthday multiple times. Our server was very knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. I loved it. He explained every detail about the dishes and we decided on the tasting menu. I couldn't even explain the food if i tried. All I can say, is that it was packed with so many different flavors and texture. My description does no justice what so ever and you just have to go for yourself. I know for sure I will be back!
Great experience and service. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere
The staff bent over backward to give me a choice table. The food, service, and presentation was superb.
This was my second visit to FT33. The food was very well prepared. The taste of my entre and dining partner was very tasty. For what you pay though, food portions are very small. Our server was excellent. Very knowledable with the menu and everything was served in a timely manner. Dining area was really too cold. Both the front and back doors were open on a January night where the temperature was in the 40-50's, so the dining room was not comfortable.
Major disappointment was the cocktail. Each of us ordered a dirty martini. The martini was served in an unchilled cordial glass that you would use for an after dinner drink. When you spend the amount of money as you do at FT33 you should receive a martini in a chilled martini glass. Blue cheese olives were requested with the martini, but we were told that the chef has been unable to find satisfactory blue cheese olives in the area, but the martini's were served with very bland, maybe from a jar, pimento olives. When you spend $140 for two entrees, one martini each and one dessert, you expect a little more.
FT33 wants to be known for their farm to table food, but with so many outstanding dinner options in Dallas, the entire experiece needs to be great.
