Frost Me Sweet Bistro in Richland, WA has a bakery that can cater for all types of events. The facility also offers help with private events, wine dinners, bridal events and more. The eatery has quite a few tasty items on the menu that you might want to try, as well.
For the starters at Frost Me Sweet Bistro, consider the pumpkin sage bites, crab cakes, sourdough bread loaf and the magic fries. Choose from an array of different types of burgers and paninis as well. Specialty items at Frost Me Sweet Bistro include the carnie tacos, pom curry chicken wrap and the Mediterranean steak sandwich.
We were greeted by a very cordial hostess. The menu has numerous delicious items. My favorite are the Paninis, especially the savory Reuben. The Tuna melt caught me by surprise, with the Jalapenos, it added just enough of a kick. The variety of cupcakes is enough to satisfy anyone looking for a tasty snack. The Pineapple and the Coffee cupcakes were especially tasty.
We had a group of 7 for a birthday lunch. The service was excellent and the food was great. Of course we had cupcakes to celebrate with the bday girl. If you don't want a regular size there are minis. A wonderful place for friendship and food.
Most people in the area don't know that Frost Me Sweet isn't just a bakery, it's also a bistro. And they serve delicious food! Not only that, they are open until 10PM on weekends. They offer up some tasty appetizers plus a decent beer and wine list that featured, what looked like, all local Columbia Valley wines. Overall a quaint local place with a very relaxing atmosphere and awesome food. Make sure you leave room for cupcakes, they are to die for!
What a great place to eat. It is quaint and the food is superb. They even offer kid friendly meals as well. If you haven't eaten here yet, you need to do so!
Had the shepherds pie the week before that was proper portion size. Had the scallops this week and they were 4 slices not much larger than a quarter served with 4 sliced pieces of squash not much larger. This was a $19 entrée that would have been a small starter elsewhere. My wife had the same item on the menu two weeks in a row (sweet salmon) and you would not have guessed it was the same item on the menu.
An acquaintance recommended your restaurant as a place to go before attending a special event at Hanford High School. I was skeptical that it would be an ideal place for dinner, since your specialty is cupcakes. I was pleasantly surprised! My two friends and I ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were delicious. For the main course, I had the Chicken Chevre and devoured every bite like I hadn't eaten in a week. The only bad thing was that I was too full to even order a cupcake. I will definitely recommend Frost Me Sweet to anyone. Guess I will need to stop by and get some cupcakes!
Went here for homecoming dinner to avoid the mainstream crowds at Olive Garden as Applebee's. We were not disappointed in the slightest. This place is uber trendy and the food was delish! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. They put up with a group of Highschoolers, so kudos! Can't wait to go again!
Everyone in our Red Hat group had a wonderful time and a very good lunch. We will be back in a few months. Thank you for a very nice lunch. Diana
The food was great, just thought a bit pricey
Have really enjoyed this place for lunch, so decided to try it for dinner. Service was uneven, being super fast at first and then slowing to a crawl at the end. Food was generally good, but nothing exceptional, except for the desserts, which were to die for! They provided small pours of wine (4 oz) for top $. Surprisingly small variety for being located in the heart of Washington wine country. Most menu items were still lunch-type items, despite being dinner service. Lunch continues to be their strength. For dinner, there are better and more satisfying options in the area.
I had high hopes trying this restaurant based on reviews and viewing the menu beforehand. I ordered the woodland panini and it was lacking. One paper thin slice of meat, a glob of goat cheese, and what seemed like mushrooms from a can. I was very disappointed. My husband had the BBQ brisket sandwich which looked great but tasted like liquid smoke. The garlic parmesean fries and the red velvet cheese cake were amazing. If we go back it will be for dessert only.
The food at this place has been consistently good (albeit over priced) and since it's one of very few eateries in this town, we always stop by when we're in this particular city in time for a meal. The wait staff all seem to be too busy even though there's not even room for enough diners to occupy all of them at the same time. It's always slow and a bit stuffy, like the place seems too cool and hip for its own good. I guess if you don't mind the kind of service you get it's worth a try.
It was supposed to be a dinner for two, but ended up dinner for one has my wife got called into work. I started with a nice glass of wine and a salad, then feasted on the Oceanside Big City - an 8oz prime New York steak topped with sautéed shrimp and blue cheese butter sauce. I followed the entrée with a gluten-free cupcake. The meal, service, and atmosphere was amazing. Not very intuitive for someone dining gluten-free to go to a bakery for dinner - not to worry at Frost Me Sweet.
Great, creative food! Be prepared for a relaxed, evening experience.
