This place superb, from the food to the service.
Service from Neville was outstanding and pleasurable. Food was delicious creative cuisine. We waited 45 minutes because the party prior to us lingered longer than expected. However, the management and server alleviated our concerns by providing complimentary appetizers. Would definitely return and recco to others.
Farm to table very chic recipes that tadte amaxing. If you're lookkng for chicken nuggets. This isn't the place. The wine choices are excellent, the service is great and ee had a lovely dining experience!
Wow... We don't go to Frog's Leap very often because it is on the pricey side, but we had a stellar dining experience last Friday evening. My sister, quite the foodie, remarked that it was the most memorable meal she had had in years. Our server was excellent- present but not hovering, and very knowledgable of all items on the menu. Every dish was superb and those bleu cheese stuffed olives in my martini were "holy crap!" good. I just can't say enough good things about our meal and only hope management will maintain the high levels of excellence we experienced. We hope to make Frog's Leap our "go to" premium dining experience for years to come.
Met a friend for dinner. As always this continued to impress why it’s one of the best restaurants in all of WNC!
We've eaten there numerous times and it's always a home run. The food is amazing and the service is just wonderful. Neville will always be who we request as a server going forward. His attention to detail is just beyond. The owner is delightful and I so appreciate the personal level of attention they pay to their guests. It's the best restaurant in Waynesville without a doubt.
Beautiful meal. We ate everything on our plates.
Never disappointed with this place Abagail and Newell are awesome and very friendly this place is a must
Food is always fabulous! Interesting menu - great combinations of flavors. Awesome presentation. Family from DC in town - used to great food! They loved it! Super service too!
Our food was exquisite and our service was even better!
Love Frog’s Leap Public House; great restaurant and delicious, fresh food. Very good service; Toni (owner) is very welcoming ! Each season’s menu is an experience... with wonderful presentations. The lamb chops are usually on the menu and the presentation changes season to season. For summer, the lamb chops are a Moroccan presentation and are very good. I really like all dishes I’ve had and we go for dinner as often as possible.
Our dinner was amazing as always! We had the scallop special for the night and also the trout. They were excellent as was the service.
Another wonderful dinner at Frog's Leap. This visit we had the house-made pate as an appetizer and halibut for the entree - both were outstanding (and of course salted creme brulee for dessert). As always, our server Abby was so very attentive and took care of every need. Already looking forward to our next visit!
A MUST visit if you are anywhere near Waynesville! We’ve been coming here for years during the summer and the food is always unbelievably amazing, as well as the service! Just remember to make reservations well in advance.
The food and service were excellent!
Our reservation was right on time (arrived early, so we were asked to wait a bit until the table was ready). Our server was very friendly and professional. The food is always fantastic, and we were once again very pleased with the quality and timeliness. My only suggestion would be to have slightly larger water glasses so the servers don't need to run around as much to fill them*, or have refillable bottles for the table to serve themselves. We will certainly be back!
*Note, I wasn't waiting for water long, just may be more of a convenience for the staff.
This was our first time. Loved everything about it! We will be back on our next trip to Waynesville!
Server wasn’t interested in providing a good meal. Chicken was not as tender as expected and was served cold along with cold sides. The salmon dish was good. The caesar salad was less than half the size it has been every other time i have ordered it. Told the server but nothing was done about it. Meal was only ok this time. Very disappointed in the service. Will be driving to Asheville next time for lots of meal options!
Good food / very pricey
Amazing! The food, the service, it was all unbelievable. So wonderful!
My guests were very impressed with the quality and flavors of the food. I was slightly disappointed that the menu has become a little too eclectic and there were a lot of combos that I did not like. My fallback of trout was delicious but, honestly, it was the ONLY thing on the menu with which I liked everything being offered. Still good, though ...
85th Birthday celebration...everything was excellent....full entrees are pricey but well prepared...creative menu...excellent service
A wedding anniversary dinner. We started with their specialty blue cheese olive martini which was expertly crafted and delicious. We elected to do a number of small plates, Pate’, lobster, crab cake and bacon wrapped dates. My wife wasn’t that impressed with the pate’, but I loved it. The rest we both agreed were scrumptious. We paired it all with their California sparkling wine offering which was quite good. Finally, we split a creme’ brûlée ‘ for dessert. Service was terrific. Owner/host stopped by several times to check on us. A really positive and memorable experience.
Great birthday celebration. Our waitress, Abby, was so a kind and attentive. My son did a great job of organizing without my knowledge and the staff at FLPH couldn’t have been any more accommodating. Food was delish and the salted caramel creme brûlée was over the top....so, so yummy!
Delightful evening! Great drink menu, fabulous Caesar salad, and trout and scallops entrees were beautifully prepared and delicious!
If we're are in Waynesville again-,we will enjoy dinner here again. Outstanding in every way.
Excellent menu... Our service person was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and was a great dinner guide... overall, an excellent experience..
A great experience! Our waiter was the most professional and interactive waiter we could have had. Our family has eaten at some fine restaurants around the world, but has never had a more informative, attentive, and interactive waiter anywhere! The food is ALWAYS five star! As usual, a great experience!
An outstanding place in Western NC. You don't have to drive to Asheville. Pricy, but great and eclectic menu, very loud in there, nice bar. Service is usually pretty good. I have been there at times when they were so busy they just couldn't handle it. Still, a great place.
great! Neville is a fabulous waiter
Everything was excellent. But they aren’t shy about charging top end prices.
Wonderful restaurant and exceptional service. Neville was so knowledgeable about wine paring too!
Always a complete pleasure to dine there. We were greeted by a very friendly Nigel upon entering- letting us know that he was aware that we had theatre reservations and that time was of the essence. The new small plate crab fritters were spicy and delectable - according to our dining companions - as was the salad of rocket greens and pistachio crusted goat cheese. I had the trout over duck fat roasted fingerling potatoes - always good.
Always a wonderful experience. Staff is always very helpful and courteous. Did is well prepared and presented. Our favorite place in Waynesville
Frogs Leap Public House is now our favorite, go to place for excellent dining. We live in west, West Asheville and the distance to Frogs Leap is about ten minutes longer than it would be if we headed to downtown Asheville for dining. Parking has never been a problem for us in Waynesville.
The food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. We have never, EVER received any sub par service or mediocre meals at Frogs Leap. Food quality and freshness have always been consistent.
BRAVO, Frogs Leap... BRAVO!
This is our favorite place to eat! We can’t wait to come back !
Our favorite restaurant in Waynesville. Farm-to-table and delicious. The Devils on Horseback are the best we've ever had. The Chilled Beet Gazpacho was amazing as was the Honeysuckle Rose cocktail. Never had a bad dish. Service is excellent also. Highly recommend.
This is the best restaurant in town and the food is always prepared to perfection. We enjoy the farm to table approach with locally sourced foods. The chef does an extraorsinary job of preparing the food. We have never had a bad meal here. The service is always excellent as well and this visit was no exception. They use a wood fired oven, which smells great outside the restaurant. However, your clothes smell like wood smoke after dining here. A small aggravation to an otherwise great restaurant.
The food and service is outstanding.. so good we ate there last night and again tonight with a guest!
We have enjoyed Frogs Leap on several occasions. Once again, we enjoyed out time there this week. However, I have some dietary issues and found the menu to be difficult. I do not eat any dairy or meat. I do eat fish and seafood. One item I could have eaten was unavailable on Wednesday evening so I basically had one choice for an entree (small plate). I did not see any options for a vegan on the menu.
I think this needs to be considered as more and more people have food limitations.
Great food, fabulous service, great seating. Once again had a great time most enjoyable. That's why we keep coming back. Great place don't miss out.
